CAN IT BE?!

That it can! Three days ago in 2004, Foster's pemiered on Cartoon Network. I heroically forced myself to stop being lametarded and do something to commemorate this event. Even though nobody who works there will probably ever see it. This is an act of charity.

I WARN YOU THAT LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE I'VE EVER DRAWN, THIS IS REALLY HUGE. 8)

Kzinistzerg 08-16-2006 11:07 AM

That's a fairly accurate drawing, but then again they're pretty simple characters... Cute though! You should ahve given Bloo bambi-eyes (I mean, more so).

That's not huge. 4x that is huge. That's normal sized.

I have to second the message.

kageri 08-16-2006 11:10 AM

Yes, perhaps I should have. Oh well, I just wanted to draw Bloo with eyelashes because it's awesome.

Mac is pretty hard to draw, though. He's cute, but his head is really weird.

Kzinistzerg 08-16-2006 11:22 AM

Yeah. Simplicity dosn't guarantee ease of use...

Cassini90125 08-16-2006 11:57 AM

Excellent, as usual. :) But gosh golly gee, why the warning about fanfiction.net?

(Chokes on own sarcasm...) :P

kageri 08-16-2006 11:58 AM

Hurhur, not like they'd go there anyways but STILL. Gives me the jibblies. And thankyouverymuch!

taranchula 08-16-2006 12:01 PM

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

Well said, it almost brings a tear to my eye... and yes I too hope that Craig makes an apperance at next years comic con, meeting him in person would be quite the thrill for me.

kageri 08-16-2006 12:09 PM

I hope so. That would be awesome. <3 Then we could all get together and par-taaay!

taranchula 08-16-2006 12:16 PM

Then it has been decided, I shall send away for my free San Diego tourist guide post haste. :D

One Radical Dude 08-16-2006 12:45 PM

There just isn't enough 2nd anniversary images. I love this one. I love Bloo's eyes there. 8-)

Yeah, I'm already looking forward to the next Comic-Con. Hopefully, they'll be back. :)

Cassini90125 08-16-2006 12:47 PM

Take me with you and I'll pay for the trip. :)

GrimTheLost 08-16-2006 01:09 PM

This picture is wondeful. You do great art.

antgirl1 08-16-2006 01:46 PM

8D "Don't go to Fanfiction.net"

I hope at least MY STORY(S) doesn't apply there. XD

kageri 08-16-2006 03:22 PM

Thanks all, and I wouldn't know, for I have not read your stories. :]

BlooCheese 08-16-2006 03:50 PM

Yeah! Kageri rocks my socks! That is some awesome artwork, yes indeed!

Sparky 08-16-2006 04:06 PM

The fanfic.net warning cracks me up. I have personally told people at CN not to go there myself!

Great picture!!

kageri 08-16-2006 04:12 PM

Thank you! And I'm glad. Even if Craig and Crew are not really allowed to read fanfiction, it's called "The Pit" for a good reason. I supposed general CN folks are allowed to, though?

Yes but even then I think that sort of thing is still frowned upon by the higher up's, because nine times out of ten those employees are most likely found in the washrooms curled up on the floor in a fetal position and crying for their mommies after reading that sort of stuff, thus having to be sent home early and missing a whole day of work.

Maybe CN and Craig should commission a public service announcement featuring Mr. Herriman, Bloo and Wilt warning kids about the dangers of writing bad fan fiction.

Cassini90125 08-16-2006 04:29 PM

Lol, I like that idea a lot. :)

XDDD

FostersFriend 08-16-2006 10:42 PM

Beautiful work well done :D

Imaginary Light 08-17-2006 08:48 AM

Okay, now I really like that:) Nice job!

And pertaining to Comic-Con...I say we all go next year! We'll be one big Foster's posse!

Kzinistzerg 08-17-2006 09:37 AM

I really really really wanna go. Except it's invariably not at my house which means it's too far away. Bah.

Hmmm... I though I posted here about the art... Uh...

Well what I said was that Mac's head changes shape when he talks a bit which is really the only 'incorrect' thing, it goes from [] to D, kinda. SO that's why his mouth is all weirdie.

I think I know what you mean, but I like when peoples' mouths go past their faces. Don't ask me why. I figured that I'd never be able to draw it exactly like the show, so WHY NOT! :D

...actually, I just didn't notice that, but what I just said still stands.

InsaneFan 08-17-2006 11:11 AM

LOVE IT. *lol at FF.net jab*

Oh, and I'm am SO making my Mom let me go to the Comic Con next year! 8D I'd die if I had to miss it again.

kageri 08-17-2006 03:52 PM

YES YOU SHOULD. AND THANK YOU.

I missed them two days in a row. Now THAT'S motivating. NEXT YEAR FO' SHO'!

Sparky 08-17-2006 04:52 PM

If we could organise it, I still think having our own fan-booth at the Con would be cool. :) But someone would have to be there at all times, and I can tell you right now, I'm not volunteering to sit there for the whole Con! ;)

kageri 08-17-2006 05:33 PM

That would be so great. We could make "Visit Beautiful, Scenic Fosters-Home.Com" fliers. It would be like a huge family reunion with all the distant relatives you never met.

Cassini90125 08-17-2006 05:47 PM

It would indeed be fantastic, if a way could be found to do it.

kageri 08-17-2006 05:48 PM

That's easy, we'd just have to have everyone.... like.... move.... to the appropriate state.

taranchula 08-17-2006 06:22 PM

Well I don't live anywhere near California, but I am going to go down there anyways at great personal expense because comic con looks like the proverbial blast, and the NF booth thing sounds kind of intriguing, I am sure if we work out a system of shifts, everyone can take turns manning the fort so to speak.

Sparky 08-17-2006 07:23 PM

...I'm going to have to make a lifesize Eduardo and Coco this time, aren't I?? ;)

No, we'll just have ORD in his costume run around "recruiting". ;)

Ack, sorry this has gone offtopic. :P

That's not a bad idea. Maybe, we should create a CC 2007 topic or something.

kageri 08-17-2006 08:04 PM

We need to petition them to all be there next year. Srsly. They need to come back.

Sparky 08-17-2006 08:08 PM

I want to see Tara Strong next year.

Okay that's it I'm starting a new thread for this. -_-

LaBlooGirl 08-18-2006 06:02 PM

LOL I love your words, I truly love them....

Let's all learn how to say... LAMETARDED!! Weee!! I can say it, I can!
You're brilliant, Kageri.

That picture was so adorable....I cracked up at the fanfiction.net reference.
How true, how true.
If Craig went there, he just might see my overly sappy MacxBloo fic, and think I've just plum lost my mind.
Then again, however, there are far WORSE fics...like a certain incest fic between Mac/Terrence... ::shudder::....uhm, I won't even make any further comments on that.
:wiltshock:

I like Bloo's red cheeks...was he playing with lipstick again or is he just being overly dramatic as usual? ^_^

kageri 08-18-2006 06:15 PM

Why thank you! He's just being dramatic, but it won't work on Mac because he's become immune to the Soulful Sad Eyes. But I also seem to have a thing for red cheeks lately so who knows.

I NEED TO DRAW THESE TWO MORE THEY ARE ADORABLE.

LaBlooGirl 08-20-2006 05:10 PM

SPOILER WARNINGS

Problem is, Bloo's "Soulful Sad Eyes" just don't work....and they aren't convincing either...(spoiler) like the time he was on the courts with Wilt and was trying to convince him to give him the card he needed in "Cuckoo for Coco Cards".

It's still adorable though. Oh yes, Bloo can do adorable, to that I agree.

Fomalhaut 08-22-2006 11:26 AM

Excellent!

lucyrocks73 08-23-2006 10:54 AM

I loved it... I was slightly offended by the ff.net sporking... Just kidding. Ha. We writers attempt to take critism lightly but affectively, and blahblahblah.

Ha. It was great.

Yeah, Mac's hard to draw... There's a tree in my neighhbor's backyard that I SWEAR is shaped like his head...
