Just a "Heads Up"

I just saw this on Toon Zone's Cartoon Network Forum, that Good Wilt Hunting will actually PREMIER on November 23 at 7:00 pm, which is Thanksgiving night, preceded by an all-day Foster's marathon beginning at 7 AM, and will repeat at 7 PM the following Friday, plus rerun several times that weekend. I don't know how true that is, but the poster seemed to know what he was talking about.

Hey, wait...7 PM is 4 PM in my timezone...YAY!!!

Kzinistzerg 10-25-2006 09:33 AM

YAY!n Foster's! WHOOOOO! Nice to see there'll be a bunch on that day.

scary_dream 10-25-2006 10:08 AM

Ahh! What's better than Good Wilt Hunting? Good Wilt Hunting in a sea of Foster's episodes!

I'm happy. Thanks for the update, PBL.

Imaginary Light 10-25-2006 11:09 AM

Oy, it might be hard to watch it on Thanksgiving Day, but I'm gonna try anyway:D

"C" the Dragon 10-25-2006 02:03 PM

"Good Wilt Hunting" on November 23?! That's not fair!! I'll probably be at grandma and grandpa's house for Thanksgiving day at that time!! I'M DOOMED!!!:wiltshock: *panics*

Thornwhistle 10-25-2006 02:36 PM

Yay,it sounds like a FHFIF festival. :D

InsaneFan 10-25-2006 02:42 PM

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! *squealsquealsqueal* ONE DAY CLOSER!! :D :D :D

Of course, I won't be able to watch it exactly when it airs, but I'll have my buddy tape stuffs(she dun go nowhere for Thanksgiving). Oh, wait...She loves to tease me. SHE'LL EITHER TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE I WATCH IT, OR SHE'LL MAKE ME SELL HER MY SOOOOUUUULLL!!! :wiltshock: *dies*

BUT WAIT. I could always just not tell her it's airing a day early...I mean, I probably won't be able to go over to her house until the 24th anyways!

But if she ever found out, SHE'D KILL ME!! And I'm not a good liar. Or a keeping-stuff-from-people-er(unless, ya know, someone asked me to keep a secret).

Either way, I'm dead!! Oh, WHY did they have to premier it on the 23rd!! *wails*

Wow. This post went everywhere, didn't it?

k0ugs 10-25-2006 04:47 PM

no worries, as soon as it airs i will try to encode it and share it via the web

LOL You are the cutest, InsaneFan. Your enthusiasm is mightily contagious (sheesh why am I picking all these hard to spell words??)
If I can't be around to actually watch it, I'd record it. Besides it's probably going to play SEVERAL times throughout the week, since it IS a special. That can almost be gauranteed.

BlooCheese 10-25-2006 05:24 PM

Hey, that's pretty good! A yummy dinner and Good Wilt Hunting on the same day!

lucyrocks73 10-25-2006 05:42 PM

Nope, I'm screwed.

I'll have to tape it and wake up early the next morning to watch it.

Well, this stinks.

-Marty :goo:

Cassini90125 10-25-2006 05:54 PM

Maybe On Demand will have it before the 23rd, as they did with "Bloo's The Boss".

CG 10-25-2006 06:06 PM

Either way, I won't see it until someone uploads it somewhere I can download it. No way am I watching it on a grainy screen of YouTube. ¬.¬

Voxxyn 10-25-2006 06:10 PM

Seeing as how Cartoon Network loves to repeat everything into infinity and seeing as how it's a special edition of one of their most successful current shows, I don't really understand the panic. :P

CG 10-25-2006 06:14 PM

lol Too true.

You guys should keep a heads up for the commercial. If ORD or someone captures that they should most definately upload it somewhere. I remember when I had Foxtel Cartoon Network would air a 'coming next month' segment towards the end of the previous month to highlight what's going on.

Does CN still do that, or is it an Australian thing?

GrimTheLost 10-25-2006 10:06 PM

Yes, I'll have all 12 other people in my house annoyed with me because I will not come out of my room the whole day. YAY!

kaytea 10-26-2006 01:44 AM

oh awesome I hope some on uploads it to myslpeen caus im not getting cable back untill summer =(

LosDosEduardos 10-26-2006 06:00 AM

Well, I would think that fate or destiny would be on the line...maybe not. I just set my calendar to watch the Premiere on Thanksgiving morning, then I will see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. And what's more important, getting to know the girl who created Ed,:-/ and to prove that the now-deleted Wikipedia article is wrong. I'll also see what Imaginary Friend Mac's mother thought up when she was little. I hope Mac gets to come back to Foster's after the movie premiere.

CCMars 10-26-2006 06:57 AM

Wait a second. Where exactly did the Wiki writer of the episode find out that Mac's mom will make an appearance, let alone find her own imaginary friend? Or is this another fan assumption?

Check the link.

Cassini90125 10-26-2006 08:07 AM

I'll believe it when I see it. Wikipedia isn't too reliable when it comes to Foster's. I hope they're right, but I don't trust them.

pitbulllady 10-26-2006 11:00 AM

That probably came from my own posts on the old Never Forgotten forum and the IMDb forum, in which I had proposed the idea that WILT might be the long-abandoned IF of Mac's mom, which was based on my observation of his behavior in "Infernal Slumber". I'd mentioned that there seemed to be a connection of some sort, or "foreshadowing", of something between Mac's mom and Wilt. This is pure speculation on my part, but apparently somebody took that idea and decided to post in on Wikipedia as "canon". If my posts were the source for that person's Wikipedia entry, then it certainly isn't "official", LOL!

Yes I know. I saw it before I wrote my post. However, the Fosters wiki and TV.com (being sites who allow the average joe and jane to update them) has a ton of people who insist on writing their own ideas onto them and passing them off as the real thing. Take anything written on those two in particular with a grain of salt.

Hope that ain't spoilers! XD

Invader Bloo 10-26-2006 03:06 PM

Dang! I won't be able to watch it until the next day! :(
But atleast I'll get to watch Foster's all day before it! :D

Are you sure? Better go check the link again.

LaBlooGirl 10-27-2006 04:07 AM

That description on Wiki looked to be simply stating Mac's mom would get to see her IF, I didn't take that at all like a hint it could be Wilt. I really don't buy into this theory, really I don't.

Dang! I forgot that it's from Wiki! Crud!>:( Oh, well. Only one way to find out: By watching the movie!:D Go Wilt!

YuckieDuck 10-29-2006 01:29 AM

What episode is going to air after Bloo's the Boss? Most websites list "Make-Believe It or Not" as the next episode but according to TV.com, it is "Emancipation Complication". The cartoonnetwork.com episode guide also lists Emancipation Complication before Make-Believe It or Not.

Edit: The schedule on CN's website lists Emancipation Complication as the next episode so it must be correct.

HappyFoppy 10-29-2006 01:51 AM

EC is before MBION. Always trust cartoonnetwork.com.

As for the Mac's Mom thing: WTF? You can't be sure of that. A while ago on the list of main characters, someone listed this:

"There was a rumor among fans that Frankie also is an imaginary friend, but the creator denied that.".

Wiki is 50% CRAP. Really.

LOL!8D Frankie?! An imaginary friend?! That's hard not to laugh! Although it might be cool.;)

Invader Bloo 10-29-2006 08:39 AM

Wow, that's a really crappy idea.

Cassini90125 10-29-2006 10:34 AM

Totally crappy and not cool. But, as it's not true, I'm paying no further attention to it.

Voxxyn 10-30-2006 12:17 AM

I've checked the Foster's Wiki pages yesterday and, no kidding, they're not exactly in the best condition. Lots of errors and blatant misinformation scattered everywhere. I removed a bit that supported the long-running misconception that Frankie created the scribbles(They're never going to learn, are they?), but trust me, there's much more incompetence going on than just that.

But back on-topic, and in a positive note: I'm glad to hear "Emancipation Complication" will air after "Bloo's the Boss". :)

Cassini90125 10-30-2006 05:40 AM

She might have created one or two of the scribbles, but not all 12 million of them. Where'd people ever get that crazy idea to begin with? Sheesh, that site is lame. :P

I'm looking forward to "Emancipation Complication", too. I hope Frankie gets a chance to really shine in this episode. She's earned it.

kageri 10-30-2006 07:59 AM

Oh, Wikipedia. Why you gotta make me hit you?

Seriously though, I'm confused as to why the Foster's article has so much more misinformation and craziness than other ones. Try slipping in something blatantly made-up on any other article and see if it stays there for more than half an hour.

LosDosEduardos 10-30-2006 08:45 AM

Ahem...

Less talk about Wikipedia, more talk about "Good Wilt Hunting" and it's airdate change.

It's a good thing that we will see Wilt's creator, if he ever finds his creator that is. But what if he doesn't find his creator in time before the creator picnic is over?:wiltshock:

Anyway, why in the world would they move "Good Wilt Hunting"'s premiere a day back and at a way earlier time, then show it again during the night? It's okay, really, although I just asked.:D
