Invader Bloo 10-03-2006 05:27 PM

Halloween

Anyone dressing up?
I'm going as a 501st Clone or Jango Fett.

Thornwhistle 10-03-2006 05:30 PM

Nah,I'm going to stay home to watch scary movies, while eating candy.

BlooCheese 10-03-2006 05:54 PM

They said we could wear our Halloween costumes to school. I don't have one, but if I had a Bloo costume like ORD's, I'd wear it.

Cassini90125 10-03-2006 05:55 PM

Darth Vader, same as last year. :)

Sparky 10-03-2006 05:59 PM

As stated in the Invader Zim thread my brother and I are going as Dib and Gaz. *Where* we are going, I don't yet know. We moved into this apartment a few days before Halloween last year, and not a SINGLE trick-or-treater came by, so we won't be botheirng to stay home to hand out candy this year.

InsaneFan 10-03-2006 06:04 PM

Well, I wanna go as Frankie or Raven(Teen Titans), but since I have a perpetually empty wallet, I'll probably go as a karate-type-person(I take lessons, so I have a uniform) or Darth Vader like Cassini. XD I have the costume from when I played Vader in the movie me and my friends made at filmmaking class.

GrimTheLost 10-03-2006 07:13 PM

Ah Halloweewn. My Christmas.I'll probobly be me, take my 1 yo nephew to the local mall and show him off for some candy. I <3 candy.

One Radical Dude 10-03-2006 07:18 PM

More than likely, I'll just be at home doing nothing, except maybe watch something on the tube.

Mr. Marshmallow 10-03-2006 07:19 PM

Watching lots and lots and lots of horror movies.

Giving people candy (duh!).

And telling my dog to stop barking at the trick or treaters every 5 seconds.

scary_dream 10-03-2006 10:52 PM

Halloween = my favorite holiday. I play it up every year! This year I'm going as a cenobite from Hellraiser. I'm not being a specific one, so I figured I'd get creative and make up my own and make my own vinyl dress and everything. If anyone asks, I'll just tell them that the Chatterer is my boyfriend 8D Hey the forsaken bad guys need lovin', too.

rukift 10-04-2006 03:38 AM

this year I'm going out as Doug Funnie... and if that doesn't work, I can always kick my richie obsession to the next level and go as him. XD Either way no one will probably even know I actually dressed up, since both of their "costumes" are so plain.

koosie 10-04-2006 07:27 AM

Is it that time of year again?

I usually get the cheapest, nastiest boiled sweets to give to trick or treaters. It amuses me greatly to see them gobbed out in local streets next morning.

Me too. I hate Halloween.

If anyone asks for candy, I usually give them coffee or plastic (just kidding.)

Cassini90125 10-04-2006 09:45 AM

Years ago one lunatic in my old neighborhood got arrested for handing out chocolate Ex-Lax with the words scraped off. I guess he missed one.

Medikor 10-04-2006 11:47 AM

I may be the one passing out the treat's this year. I learned long ago that it's easyer to just stay home and eat the leftover handouts.8D
If I had the full get up, I would dress up as a knight. But I'm short a helm, mail, tunic, boot's, sheild and gauntlets. But I DO have a sword and Halberd! But I won't have those out when handing out candy. I'd probobly get a visit from the police.
I'm not into scary movie's, but I do enjoy the documentorie's on stuff like ghost's and vampire's. I'm a Sasquatch and Nessie fan and I've also had some real life ghost encounters (no one believes me, though:( ) I enjoy the legands of monsters and stuff. You guy's can keep the scary movie's.:D

PS: Have fun and be safe this Halloween, guy's! Free candy and dressing up if fun, but there are some real sicko's out there. So be safe and have fun. :)

Thornwhistle 10-04-2006 11:58 AM

HappyFoppy,I don't hate Halloween. I think it's a great and fun holiday.

The reason I stay home with the movies and candy is that I'm 35. I'm too old to go trick or treating. Now if I were 10,I'd defently be out there getting my share.

HF,you should enjoy this holiday while you're still young enough to enjoy it.

:D

Kzinistzerg 10-04-2006 12:56 PM

I'd go ,except i'm too lazy to actually mka e acostume. I do, however, want to build a robotic arm out of legos, if I get it to work, i'll wear that and go out with a few friends... see how many people notice i haev an extra elbow... hehee...

Tip: buy candy the day afeter haloween adn or easter. it's all REALLY cheap then.

Imaginary Light 10-04-2006 12:58 PM

I'm going as Emily from Corpse Bride (and if you havent's scene the movie...Emily is the corpse bride. I'm making it myself and it's turning out awesome-ly. I want to show you all pictures after Halloween!

Kzinistzerg 10-04-2006 01:02 PM

awesome... Tah twoud be so perfect for haloween!

Voxxyn 10-04-2006 01:09 PM

I really doubt I'll be dressing up and going out this year... but if I did, I'd go as Gregory House from House M.D., probably my current all-time favorite TV character that isn't a redhead caretaker.

lucyrocks73 10-04-2006 04:45 PM

I am moving next week, therefore I am going trick or treating.

I believe I am going as Frankie, but only because it's easy, cheap, and I already own the perfect sweatshirt.

And then if people comment that I'm too old to trick or treat, I will just say that I'm taking my brother around.

My mother wants me to go as an angel, because my six year old brother is going as a devil.

How old am I, seven?

-Marty 8-)

Dude13 10-04-2006 04:50 PM

Ha, well, you're fourteen - thats two times seven.....

lucyrocks73 10-04-2006 04:53 PM

:scaryberry:

Yeah.

Now that was just nasty.

(I'm just kidding...)

I am by no means going as an angel for Halloween.

End of discussion.

THAT MEANS YOU, DUDE13!!!

-Marty 8-)

scary_dream 10-05-2006 09:47 PM

Haha you could do like a bunch of other girls have started doing and go as an "angel", which nowadays is pretty much lingerie and a halo + wings. There's no costume involved! Just panties and accessories!

Oh well... Call 'em angels, call 'em trampy, but I call 'em FREEZING COLD!

I was him last year, of course I didn't have enough money so I wore jeans & not the cool talking Vader helmet, which I got for x-mas. ::)

Amritama 10-07-2006 05:40 PM

Ah, Halloween. Typically, I'd pull a few pranks on trick-or-treaters, but I think I'm going to pass this year. I don't mean to sound like an emo teenager or anything, but my grandmother recently passed away, and her birthday happened to be on Halloween. It's a little hard for me, for I was very close to her and even made a few hardy jokes on her birthday being on Halloween.

Well, now I'm going off-topic. Most likely, I'll spend most of the day at campus and the rest of the evening with my mom. I'll also call my grandfather to see how he?s coping up with the recent loss, study for any exams or quizzes that week, and pass out [s]expired[/s] candy whenever someone comes at the door.

...I'm joking about the last part. I'll most likely pick up a bag of candies on my way back from class (I live close to a Wal-Mart, but I fret about how crowded it'll be on the 31st).

THOSE THINGS ARE ANGELS?! ...I thought angels wore long white robes...
Angels normally represent things that are pure and good and righteous, but people running around in their undewear? That's far from pure. :P

Kzinistzerg 10-08-2006 02:39 PM

No, that's just funny. Point and laugh.

Emma 10-08-2006 02:46 PM

I be going as Strong Bad. And no, I haven't figured out how to make the whole topless thing work yet. So we'll see. ::)

Sparky 10-08-2006 03:28 PM

You can buy latex male torsos, but they might only come in "body builder"...How about a flesh-colored leotard with some padding? :)

lol actually angels are naked XDDD

BlooCheese 10-10-2006 03:30 PM

Oh yeah, huh...
But seriously, people shouldn't go prancing around in their underwear.

Well, that's the way it works nowadays. Most girls go out to get/make their costumes and instead of thinking "What would be most creative that nobody else will think of?", they're thinking "What would be most revealing to attract the most guys?". Ugh, it makes me sick. What happened to the sheet over the head thing? I miss those days. ::)

Bleh, it doesn't do much for me, either. Give me somebody who's smart and that I can have an interesting conversation with any day, not some vapid Britney/Hilary/Jessica wannabe. :P

BlooCheese 10-10-2006 08:27 PM

YES! PEOPLE WITH REAL HEADS ON THEIR SHOULDERS. I AM GLAD THAT I KNOW YOU GUYS.

scary_dream 10-10-2006 09:31 PM

Yay... huzzah to guys who don't buy that whole thing that trampy, half-naked girls are the only ones to shoot for.

The only time I ever wore any sort of "sexy" costume was whenever I had to dress that way for a play I did. I had to wear a leotard and pantyhose with cat ears and a tail with a bowtie and white cuffs. I looked fine, but I honestly don't see how the girls who dress that way for Halloween wear it the entire evening without feeling uncomfortable. I usually wear a t-shirt and jeans, so I had a hard time seeing my friends in the audience dressed like that. I can't imagine going to any sort of party feeling half naked.

Mr. Marshmallow 10-11-2006 08:18 PM

I don't dress up for Halloween anymore, just cosplays for anime and comic conventions and such. I do remember like 90% of everything I DID dress up for Halloween over the years:

Mario (Mario Bros.)
Batman
Ghostbuster
The Riddler
Donald Duck (I was really little)
3 Headed monster
Godzilla
Lizard thing
Giant Vampire bat
Jason Voorhees

Kzinistzerg 10-12-2006 04:58 PM

I am happy: i finished the mounting for the mechanical hand, so it stays onmy hand perfectly now.

CCMars 10-14-2006 10:24 PM

Maybe it's because of my theater background, but I love dressing up for Halloween. A few people I know can't understand why (to them costumes == trick-or-treating), but I just find it to be fun. I'm hoping to dress as a pimp this year. :bloogrin

GrimTheLost 10-14-2006 11:17 PM

I am not dressing up, my g/f is, but I will still be going as me.
