New Game Update!

Hey I just logged on to the game and it looks like they released the October update. I'm still exploring, but I was surprised no one else had posted about this yet. Unless I missed it...

If you want to know what's new, see "spoilers" below:
Spoiler Below

The house is decorated for Halloween and the characters have changed rooms. There are new characters as well, including Terrence, Uncle Pockets, Jackies Khones, Yogi Boo Boo, and a two-headed dragon. There are also two new minigames, AND you can get to the basement!

PS. I'm new, and I haven't had a chance to make a proper intro yet. Hi, I'm me. :D

One Radical Dude 10-02-2006 11:59 AM

The first new game I chose to play is "Go With the Flow". Man, I don't get this game at all. :(

Go with the flow is a version of "Pipe Dream" , all the older gammers like myself know this game too well. the trick to getting all the coco prizes is to build the largest pipe that you can on the early levels. since it will get harder as you advance. By makeing pipes over 30 pieces each level you should be able to get 3000 point before level 10.

The Second Game "Balloon Attack" Is similar to "Joust" you can take three hits before you loose a man, you must hit alligators twice (once to get there balloons and a second time to clear them) (only one hit needed if they are already on the ground) the Feather gives 65 points. also if you hit an alligator while it is falling it yields 40 points (much better than the normal 15 points) so try to do this when you can. on my first play it took 23 levels before getting the high score and retrieving all the coco prizes.

I haven't looked at the game yet, but I appreciate the update thread. Using the spoiler tag was a nice thing to do. :) Welcome to the forum!

Which one, Pipe Dream or Joust? Joust is one of my favorite games. ;) Not saying I'm good at it or anything, lol, I just like it. Pipe Dream is a good game, haven't played that in a while though.

Kzinistzerg 10-02-2006 02:54 PM

HUh. WHen I think of joust, I think of the Atatri game...

Well, i noticed it because it said so on the Cartoonetwork page.

WHERE IS BLOO? I searched the entire house and can't find him.

ANd before you ask Madam Foster is now in
Spoiler Below
Wardrobe room

I always found Joust at the arcade much better than any of the consol versions. It also took me many many Quarters before I was able to get past level 3. but each quarter was worth it. I use to play decatholon as practice for the Flap button of Joust. :-/ 8D

I finally figured out the game. It's not difficult at all, although it does take a lot of time and work to score points.

Thornwhistle 10-02-2006 05:04 PM

Yes,I like the new updates. My chores for today were:

collect Halloween candy by the front door
polish the fingernails of the zombie arms/hands
polish the tombstones

I saw Uncle Pockets and Terrance. I talked to Madame Foster,I got a laugh when she said in a odd voice:

I am the gaming master!! :D

Sparky 10-02-2006 05:19 PM

Lol, I haven't had chores yet, I typically play around midnight so I have to wait until later to get new chores.

One Radical Dude 10-02-2006 05:34 PM

Yeah, all of the characters that you can hear speak say new things now. :D

hottoepicker 10-02-2006 05:35 PM

i got regular chores, but i did get to file the zombies nails....kinda cute....the decorations were great

montitech 10-02-2006 08:05 PM

Some of the other Chores:
Fix the pipes in the basement
light the Jack-o-lanters in the yard
collect plastic skulls in the yard

MOnty:-/

Sparky 10-03-2006 12:27 AM

I'm guessing that all these dirt piles in the yard are disentegrated jack-o-lanterns, and there will be new ones the next day (this was taken at night) which will have to be lit?

RedboXen 10-03-2006 02:08 AM

There are 6 new adventures this update, I've uploaded the Bloo's Adventures thread for those who wish to see it.

There are zombie hands popping out on some chores like "Manicure the zombie hands in the garden".

Trippetta 10-03-2006 06:55 AM

Whew! Those dirt mounds were driving me crazy!

Frankie Fan 10-03-2006 11:26 AM

I can't find Uncle Pockets, Jackies Khones, Yogi Boo Boo. I'm mostly looking for Uncle Pockets. Where is he?

mindless1 10-03-2006 11:59 AM

Frankie Fan -

When I looked today, he was in Mr. Herriman's office, but I think I also saw him in the dining room, and outside. I saw Jackie Khones in multiple places today. Keep looking!

Frankie Fan 10-03-2006 12:14 PM

Thanks, I actually found him in the file room on the 3rd floor, with Mr. Herriman. I don't what the other guys look like but I really haven't seen anyone new, execpt the two-headed fire-breathing dragon.

bloonuggets 10-03-2006 04:06 PM

The house looks great, but I haven't been in the basement yet.

buyamerican159 10-03-2006 04:10 PM

I can definitely dig the new house.

Invader Bloo 10-03-2006 04:30 PM

Cool! I love Halloween! Maybe in Dec. it'll be X-masy!

Invader Bloo 10-03-2006 04:57 PM

You can take tasks from Wilt! Doing one now! My chores were to clean tombstones, fix leaky pipes in the basement & light jack-o-lanterns in the basement.

Sparky 10-03-2006 07:18 PM

Yay I found Yogi Boo Boo, Jackie Khones, and Uncle Pockets, but I had to search the entire house to find Uncle Pockets lurking in a third-floor room, throwing streamers repeatedly in the air like some kind of deranged clown, lol.

Ahhhh! Where is Frankie hiding?! I found her yesterday, but forgot. :/

**Nevermind... I found her... Duchess' room.**

Thornwhistle 10-04-2006 11:41 AM

You can find Frankie in Dutchess's room.

The Supersonic Sock 10-05-2006 01:20 PM

I have also noticed that:

When you are not playing on the game, your character falls asleep and makes a snoring sound.

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...k/Sleeping.jpg

And also, there is a red two-headed fire breathing dragon in the woods. (The woods are on the left hedge-wall in the backyard.)

One Radical Dude 10-05-2006 02:45 PM

Yeah, your character snores when you're idle for a specific amount of time, and if you remain on idle, you will automatically be logged out of the game. Nothing new there.

The two-headed dragon appears in random locations, like most characters do (except the main characters, which change monthly, I believe).

Trippetta 10-13-2006 03:10 PM

I haven't seen anyone in the woods in a long time.
But I saw the dragon here:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n-twoheads.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...ubledragon.jpg

And I get a kick out of it when he falls asleep. I love the snoring sound.

They're in their original rooms again because the graphic designers are working on the game again.

RedboXen 10-20-2006 10:04 AM

The game file has not changed, so if your seeing the characters in different rooms it will be due to you finishing the adventures in this update and your next adventure being one of the older ones....

Did you just finish adventure 33 ?

Thornwhistle 10-20-2006 10:06 AM

Yes,I seen that adventure last night.

RedboXen 10-20-2006 10:42 AM

Thats why they characters have moved location, your now playing one of the older adventures you have not finished...

FeetyPajamas 10-21-2006 04:30 AM

Oooooh Okay. Boy, don't I feel a little silly. I'll go back to my little corner now. :D
