What phase are you going through?

Ever went/still are going through any of the following phases?

Todays goth phase? ~ :scaryberry:
The 80's punkrock phase? ~
Todays punkrock phase? ~ :terrence:
The hippie phase? ~ ;D

I think I'm currently going through this goth/hippie sorta phase. I'm not really what you'd call "dark", but I've been facinated in many goth-esque things latley. I think some of the goth clothes look cool. I was into the whole hippie thing a while back.

GrimTheLost 09-30-2006 04:03 PM

I'm in the goth/punk stage. I have been in this stage for a long time and show no sign of stopping. Though when I was little I was a hippie.

Kzinistzerg 09-30-2006 04:18 PM

I don't know what you'd call me. Socially-inept-but-not-a-nerd phase? Definitely not goth or similar, though.

Voxxyn 09-30-2006 06:12 PM

:-[ :(

I went through the "boy band" phase of the late 90's/early 00's, and I used to be a huge Backstreet Boys fanboy.

My phase

Hi, guys ...

I'm going through the "Taking a Sabbatical After Busting my Rump for 20 Years in a STRESSFUL Job" phase.

Relaxing ...

kaytea 09-30-2006 06:58 PM

Im going through the The hippie phase heck I been in the Phase for a long time and it hasn't changed

lucyrocks73 09-30-2006 07:11 PM

I've been in my band/chorus/theatre geek phase for as long as I can remember. I have the scores for RENT, Phantom of the Opera, Titanic the Musical, Wicked, and some of Hairspray memorized.

I also am a first soprano and a (crappy) flute player, along with the piano.

I'm an all-around music freak.

BlooCheese 09-30-2006 08:10 PM

Music rocks!

Let's see.
I'm in the I Don't Know What Phase I'm In Phase.

Sparky 09-30-2006 08:52 PM

YAY PHASES. I used to have those. 8D

Tonya 10-01-2006 10:21 AM

Aw katea, that's a cute little "I love Vinny" thing under your avatar. Anyone we know? ;D.

Mr. Marshmallow 10-01-2006 10:24 AM

I'm currently in the "Unable to stop watching cartoons from old, today, or whenever" phase.

I used to have anime phases and watch them non stop, which I am trying to get myself back into. But ever since I started watching Fosters and W.I.T.C.H, I've been totally hooked on toons.

Plus I bought the seasonal DVD sets for Tale Spin and Darkwing Duck. And with new episodes of W.I.T.C.H and The Batman on every saturday, i doubt I'll be getitng out of this cartoon phase anytime soon.

Awwwww ;D. I like somebody else too on here, as far as their forum personality. It's just a little crush....

ANYWAY, back on topic shall we?

Voxxyn 10-01-2006 12:07 PM

If you visited the Company Store section in the last few hours, you can tell that I'm in the "Feeling very pessimistic and hopeless about the chances of Mattel making a Frankie toy" phase.

:'(

Cassini90125 10-01-2006 12:52 PM

A mixture of sullen resentment, burning anger, gleeful anticipation, gratitude, curiosity, apathy... sheesh, I'm all over the map today. ???

vinny 10-01-2006 11:49 PM

im going through a "affection" stage like when you are so deeply in love with someone, that person is always on your mind all day long and all you care about each day is waiting till you are able just to say "i love you" to that person, one more time.

scary_dream 10-02-2006 12:31 AM

I'm in an "I just want to be happy" phase, and I don't plan on getting out of it. I've decided that life isn't life if you don't do what pleases you, so I've been trying to do a lot of that here of late. Ketchup, cartoons, and making my own clothes will always make me happy, so those things ahoy!

A lot of people ask me if I'm "goth", but my response to that is "I don't call myself anything but my own name." I'll let them do the labeling if they want, but I prefer not to get into labeling myself or other people because it's just so limiting.

BlooCheese 10-04-2006 04:59 PM

Uh...I guess I'm in that phase where I want to kick-butt at school and also that phase where I want to prove that I am a somebody.

kageri 10-04-2006 05:01 PM

I'm going through a "There are a lot of things I should be doing but I'm just going to sit around because I don't feel like doing them" phase.

I've been going through that phase since the moment I was given responsibilities. I'm one of the biggest procrastinators out there! 8D

BlooCheese 10-05-2006 06:04 PM

At this exact moment, I'm going through the "My eye itches" phase.

I used to have this avatar that said "Procrastinators unite! Tomorrow..." Now, where is it? *shuffles through files*
I currently am going through a "college/stress/where am I gonna end up in 10 years?" phase.

One Radical Dude 10-05-2006 10:34 PM

kaytea 10-06-2006 04:03 AM

Scribble 10-07-2006 08:21 AM

I'm going through the "I have no idea what I want to do when I've finished school" phase at the moment.

SkittleMonkey 10-07-2006 10:43 AM

I'm going through the "I'm hungry, but I can't find anything easy to make, so I guess I'll just skip lunch" phase. It's, like, the twentieth time I've went through this phase.

HappyFoppy 10-13-2006 02:52 AM

"Bored" phase, if that counts. ;)

kaytea 10-13-2006 02:00 PM

Ah, the hungry phase. I've had quite a few of those. In fact, I'm having one right now! :gooblab:

Tonya 10-21-2006 04:54 PM

Gee, it has been a long time since I've been back here!

Oh, and there's nothing, I repeat, nothing like going through the, "Oh my god I need chocolate now or I'm gonna hurt some people" phase. You know? And right around that time there is NEVER ANY chocolate in the house!

CG 10-21-2006 05:54 PM

I am in the 'SOMEBODY ROLE PLAY WITH ME NOW BEFORE I HURT SOMEONE' phase and have been in it for a few months.

pitbulllady 10-21-2006 06:33 PM

I am in an "Old Car Buying and Restoration Phase", starting with my '66 T-Bird, which I got to work on some today(man, I love to hear that 428 run). Just a few hours ago, I found a 99% restored '55 Hudson Wasp Custom for sale out in California for an unbelievable price; the guy who owns it is a Hudson collector(he's got eight of 'em)and he's just getting, in his own words, "too old to enjoy 'em anymore", so he'd rather let them go to someone who can appreciate these rare old cars. For those of you who don't know, the Hudson Wasp was the luxury version of the "Fabulous Hudson Hornet", made famous recently by "Doc Hudson", a '51 Hudson Hornet, in the movie, Cars. The car in CA is red-and-white and was restored by a car restoration class at one of the universities there(now how cool is that-an old car restoration class!). The only things that need to be done with it are to replace the electrical thingie that controls the overdrive, since it got "fried" when the car was upgraded from the standard six-volt system to an eight-volt system without first upgrading that part of the electrical system, so the overdrive won't work, and it is needed for any speed and for fuel economy(Hudsons were known for fuel economy, even back when it wasn't needed and gas was .15 per gallon). It also has some pin-hole leaks in the seam of the gas tank, which have to be sealed, both minor problems and easy to deal with. I've applied for financing online with a company that specializes in financing old cars, and the guy can have it delivered right to me from CA for $650.00, which is really a good deal. I finally seem able to fulfil a nearly life-long desire to own a few old cars and show them, and finding that Hudson has really got me bitten by the "old car bug".

Here's a pic of the car in question, by the way. Now who WOULDN'T want a ride like THIS?

How far are you from Ramona, CA? That's where the car is, though I won't be able to get away from work until Christmas vacation. Well, OK, I've got three days off for Thanksgiving, but I'm so no going anywhere on November 24 other than in front of my tv! I wouldn't be able to drive it back home cross-country, though, until that electrical part gets replaced and the fuel tank sealed, and it would probably cost me more to drive out there in my RAV-4 than I can have the Hudson shipped from CA to SC!

Sparky 10-21-2006 07:37 PM

Lol, about 520 miles (looks like Ramona's right near San Diego). :) You're invited for Christmas anyways. Because I say so. ;)

I have a Rav-4 too, what a coinkidink. Yeah it cost me almost 100 dollars each way for gas to drive from here to San Diego, so nix that!

One Radical Dude 10-21-2006 07:49 PM

Rad car, pbl! 8-)

"Trying to get new job/move to CA/save up for Comic Con Phase" 8D Not much has changed there. :p

Nyo 10-22-2006 07:51 AM

I'm going to the "I'm Bored" phase, and I feel like drawing a moustace on some person in front of a magazine. ;)
