If Foster's was a video game

Couldin't you just picture a Foster's video game? And each character would have their own special talents, like in the show. I've even thought of how the game would go. Somee mean imaginary friends kiddnap Madame Foster and the characters have to go save her.
Now here's each characters talents..

Wilt, his talent would be being the fastest runner and jumper, that stretchy thing he does like Elastigirl from the Incredibals, jumping the farthest due to his long legs, and his height would be helpful too. Plus he could use basketballs as ammo.

Coco, she might be ble to fly a little over places. She could lay ammo, or her eggs would be ammo, and she could carry things with her eggs.

Mac, he'd be more the type to use a slingshot or something as ammo.

Bloo, he's small and could fit in small places that the others couldin't. Could he use crunched up Adoption Forms be his ammo?

Ed, his talent of course would be to lift heavy things and to use his horns in defence.

Goo, she might know karate, I just picture her to be the type to do it.

I can't think of Mr. Herriman's purpose would be in the game. And I know there is much potential for Frankie, but I can't think of what she'd do. I'll leave the other characters for your ideas just to be fair since I've already thought of everybody.

Um...I believe they made (are making still?) a Foster's video game...

taranchula 09-12-2006 05:42 PM

Correct-a-mundo. There is a game coming out for the Game Boy Advance somtime this year.

CG 09-12-2006 06:48 PM

I remember brainstorming a RPG like Foster's game. It was freaking hilarious.

billytheskink 09-12-2006 09:25 PM

they could make it a walk and punch (like Streets of Rage), or less violently, a walk and throw (like Adventure Island). They just don't make games like that anymore.

Voxxyn 09-12-2006 10:06 PM

This will sound a little ridiculous; not to mention IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, but...

I've always thought the vast nature of the house would make for a good Castlevania/Metroid-esque game, in which you explore around in non-linear sidescrolling gameplay and have to collect powerups to access unreachable areas.

I'd imagine that Goo accidentally creates an evil imaginary force, who takes over the house and "enslaves" everybody. The only exceptions would be either Mac(who is at school) or Frankie(who went shopping), and either one of them(or maybe both?) would be the playable characters. Upon returning, Mac/Frankie are bestowed with mysterious powers by an enigmatic spiritual force whose motive doesn't become clear until later--and discover that the house is now riddled with malevolent creators, warriors and minions who have imprisoned the imaginary friends. It's put to Mac/Frankie to explore deeper and to destroy the threat, before it spreads to the outside world.

But again, there's little chance of that ever happening.

And in any case, I don't see why Frankie couldn't have a playable role in a potential videogame. There is NO way she'd just sit idly if evil IFs were to kidnap her freaking grandma. And "Frankie My Dear" proves that she's not afraid to kick some serious butt to protect her friends.

A Foster's RPG would be pretty cool, I'd imagine something like that almost being exactly like the SNES classic Earthbound.

That sounds a little like the season four finale "Make Believe it or Not" only on a much grander scale.

Tonya 09-13-2006 02:45 PM

That sounds like a REALLY cool game Voxxyn, a game idea anyway. It could almost pass for an interesting fanfic. Hmmmm, now I'm getting ideas for one. A one kinda like yours. And I didin't know there was already a video game coming out.

Kzinistzerg 09-14-2006 12:23 PM

If SPONGEBOB can know karate, then I thik Goo can too.

Invader Bloo 10-26-2006 09:40 PM

Bringing back an old topic I know but:
Goo creates a team of SUPER villians (dun, dun, duuun) & they enslave the whole world, they also capture their creator Goo who's the only one who knows how to defeat them(dun, dun, duuun). You must play as Frankie, Bloo, Mac, Coco, Cheese, Eduardo or Wilt to free the world. The SUPER villians (dun, dun *gllares at sound guy*) have built an army of advanced battle robots. You must use their unique skills to free Goo & save the world from Dooooooom! (Gir: I like doom!, Me: SHUT UP GIR!)
They are each equped with their own unique weapons.

A Fosters RPG

I think they should make a RPG Series of Fosters made by SQUARE-ENIX, and the games will be like Final Fantasy 4, 5, and 6 for the Game Boy Advance. Here are my interpretations of the titles:

1st game:Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends: The RPG
Main villain: Zemus/Zeromus
New feature: Active Time Battle System
2nd game: Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends: The RPG II: The Ulitmate Enemy
Main villain: X-Death
New feature: A job system
Final game in the series: Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends: The RPG III: The Final Battle
Main enemy: Kefka
New feature: Deathblow feature

The music will be the same, from Final fantasy IV, V, and VI, and there wil be new music composed by the person who did the theme song for Fosters, as well as the same voice charactazations in the show, as well as villains/monsters from the show and all of the monsters designed and secret dungeons done by SQUARE-ENIX will be in it. The project is known as "FOSTER'S FINAL FANTASY"

The 3 villains that I've mensioned above are very powerful and GOD-LIKE in power.

Do you think this is a good idea?

emperor26 01-13-2007 07:31 PM

If there was going to be a videogame based on Foster's, I could envisioned this being similar to the Wario Ware or Mario Party games, but with more originality in it.

Also, it could be a great game for the Wii or DS system.

But that's just me.

Sparky 01-14-2007 06:30 PM

I'm sorry I didn't do this before, guess I wasn't paying attention. :) But this isn't a character-based discussion so I moved this thread to the General board.

emperor26 07-22-2007 01:18 PM

This is something that I never thought of before.

If there's going to be another Foster's game (since it is popular enough to spawn two games), they should do a point-and-click game-similar to the one like the Lucasart games.

The only difference is that this game, if it ever should be made, is an entirely original adventure for Mac and his pals, with some new elements, but, for the most part, contains the same humor and entertainment found in the show.

Now, if only CN could find someone out there to create that type of game.

Sparky 07-22-2007 01:49 PM

Yeah but I don't believe that kind of game tends to appeal to small children, and if that's so, then they'd never make such a game. :P

...This reminds me of some old forum topics here. Deja vu.
But yes, on that topic I completely agree. I love graphic adventures :)

Sama-chan 09-08-2007 02:46 PM

I guess I would have to play it if it were a game.

Mayor Adam West 10-18-2007 11:51 PM

The main heroes should be:

Bloo
Mac
Wilt
Eduardo
Coco

And the villains throughout the levels:
Terrence
Dutchess
Red (Well, you beat him up anyway)
Various robots from the junkyard
Berry

Can't really think of anything else really....

antgirl1 10-21-2007 07:09 PM

Personally, I might've said this before, but if I haven't, I will say it.

I see Foster's best in an RPG.

There, I said it.

Berry 10-22-2007 02:38 PM

This isn't really a video game, but a computer game in video game style.
It is called Cheesequest 3D: The Brother Lady Saga. You can find it on Cartoon Network.com under Fosters.

KazooBloo 12-23-2016 10:38 PM

Too much work to think that. I enjoy it for what it is.
