Well, it's Kiwi bird's birthday! And she's eleven this year. :D Here are some photos of her party:

But cake wasn't enough, she had to have...GM'S HEART!! :wiltshock: (No, just kidding. She just likes to stick her head in like, tunnels and dark places. It's weird.)

Parrots can be so funny! There's never a dull moment with one around, that's for sure. At least though, she could share her peanut butter cake with her human friends, unlike say, one of the raw fish cakes they give the sea lions at the zoo!

Haha, I know it's not really a desirable condition, but birds that have plucked their feathers look kind of hilarious because it gives them the illusion of having abnormally giant heads.

I forget the actual date, it was August sometime. I got a certificate from the breeder (that I lost years ago) that had a date on it, I think it was the date the first egg in the clutch hatched. So all the birds in the clutch were given the same hatchdate; techncally then the date on the paper probably wasn't Kiwi's hatchdate. In any case we just celebrate her birthday on the middle weekend of August.
