Coco made some bobbleheads?

No, not really, but the folks at Funko have.

Now I don't know if this has been covered yet (and please merge this into another one or close it if this has been covered, mods or Sparky) but a Google image search has found this:

http://www.entertainmentearth.com/pr...?number=FU8325

Yup, the "common" Bloo bobblebodyhead. There's also going to be the "extremeyly rare" Eduardo bobblebodyhead, along with a Mac and a Cheese bobblehead as well, so you can collect both Mac and Cheese *rimshot*. They're going to be available soon, as early as next month to be exact.

Believe me, they'll go great with your Coco cards!

Sparky 04-24-2008 08:27 PM

I don't remember hearing about these before. :) Thanks for the info.

bloonuggets 04-24-2008 08:37 PM

As always, a pleasure to give you the info, Spaky.

Shelltoon 04-25-2008 02:27 AM

I heard about these before, but I only told my friends. I didn't want to give any info out simply because people would be asking for specific release dates. One of my co-workers says they'll be out in two weeks. I can't wait for these bad boys!

Nyo 04-25-2008 11:09 AM

Lol, awesome. I'll keep an eye out!

scary_dream 04-26-2008 07:20 PM

Oooh neato... can't wait for them to become available. I'm sad about no Wilt though =(

Frankie_4_Prez 04-27-2008 07:42 PM

While I haven't heard of actual Coco Cards being marketed, I think making them into playing cards (the 52-card kind with numbers, jacks, queens and kings) with a different Imaginary friend for each card (and short blurb or quote) would be a great product.

bloonuggets 04-27-2008 10:37 PM

Sparky knows about the real Coco cards. Cartoon Network gave 'em out in 2006 at San Diego Comic Con IIRC.

I think I was the first one to learn about these cards, and I did show Sparky some of them (I took home 6 of 10 designs, but the Mac card...I either dropped it or forgot to claim it at the CN booth). Cartoon Network, indeed, did give away the 10 different cards from Cuckoo for Coco Cards. They were exclusively for Comic-Con International 2006 only. That's all we know. :P

Cassini90125 04-27-2008 11:25 PM

I have an uncut set, signed by Craig, which I won at an eBay auction. The proceeds went to the Soren Rogers fund. :)

I wonder if there will be more then ten?:-/

Sparky 04-28-2008 02:20 PM

I only have the scans of the cards on my site. I don't own a single one. I honestly couldn't be bothered to stand in line for them. But ORD, in his awesomeness, gave me one of the two "I Like Chocolate Milk" shirts they were also giving out. I think that's all I took home from the CN booth that year.

Ok, I'm obsessed, I'll admit it. I saw this on eBay and jumped because who knows if I'd ever see it again? I could have paid less, but oh well, I'm happy. Or at least I will be in February when it's officially released and shipped to me. :)

Cassini90125 01-26-2009 03:06 PM

8D You too, eh? I saw one a couple of weeks ago and grabbed it immediately. As a matter of fact the seller sent me an email today, letting me know that he expects to ship it on schedule, provided it's released on schedule. Something to look forward to. :)

Lynnie 01-26-2009 03:11 PM

Really? That's so cool! Did you get Mac too, or one of the others? I just got an email just today, too, from the seller. That's when I decided I'd share it here. We probably got it from the same seller then, ya think? ;)

Cassini90125 01-26-2009 03:14 PM

Others? I got Bloo awhile back... are other cast members coming up? (Crosses fingers)

Lynnie 01-26-2009 03:23 PM

Let's see... I've also seen Eduardo and Cheese (along with Mac and Bloo). I'm thinking there was one more I've seen but I don't remember who it was. I'll try to find out.

Edit: Hmm, maybe that was all I saw. I found them on Funko's sight.

Click "Wacky Wobblers" on the left, and then from the drop down menu click "Foster's Imaginary Friends."

I see PPG is included in this, too. :bubbles:

Cassini90125 01-26-2009 03:30 PM

Looks like just Cheese at the moment, assuming we're buying from the same seller.

Lynnie 01-26-2009 03:39 PM

Oops, sorry Cass. I edited ^ ;)

Well, after 7 months of waiting for the bobblehead to be shipped to me, it appears Funko is no longer making any CN bobbleheads. Or perhaps, they never actually did, and the pictures are just of demos. I've been getting emails periodically from the seller on eBay, apologizing for the delay, but explaining that he hadn't gotten them yet either and of course, he couldn't ship them out if he hadn't gotten them yet. Today, 7 months later, with great regret, I got two emails, one from the seller apologizing again, and saying I'm getting a refund, and another from eBay saying basically the same thing. Dangit Funko! :terrence: Too many people and companies are turning their back on our favorite show, and have been even before it ended.

I've got to appreciate the seller though, he did seem sincere and helpless as the situation was out of his hands. I imagine he had others who got Funko stuff from him who are irate. But I think he handled things well, so he still gets a thumbs up from me.

And on the plus side, I suddenly have $20 I didn't have yesterday. :P

Cassini90125 08-09-2009 09:25 AM

I got the same two emails today. Quite a letdown but not the seller's fault. I guess that about wraps it up for new official Foster's collectibles. :P

Orpheus 10-13-2009 03:24 PM

Just in case you're wondering, the reason these were not released is because retail order were way too low. Initially places like Target and Walmart were interested, but when CN canceled Foster's, interest dropped all together. Funko made production samples to show to prospective buyers, and I was fortunate enough to get my hands on these 3. I don't have an Eduardo unfortunately.

I've got fully painted and boxed production samples of Mac:), Bloo:bloosmirk:, and Cheese:cheesegrin: wobblers that Funko was going to make but never got around to manufacturing for retail. They're exactly what would have been released, they wobble and everything. While I love these guys, times are tough, it also doesn't help that I'm one of those people who goes nuts at the thought of not having a complete set. I'm willing to sell these, obviously they're quite rare, so if you're seriously interested feel free to shoot me a PM, perhaps we could work something out.

Lynnie 10-13-2009 04:01 PM

Thanks for the update, Orpheus. :) Yeah, I figured the few that did end up seeing the light of day were just demos. Wow, so they're rare collectors items now. Though I'd consider myself a collector of anything Foster's, I don't know if I'd want to pay a "collectors item" price. That's quite the nice collection you have, though. :bloosmirk:

Orpheus 02-02-2010 05:31 PM

Whelp, they're on eBay if anyone's interested, part of the money earned will go to the Haitian relief effort.

Lynnie 02-02-2010 05:35 PM

Wow... :o Yup, that's a collector's item price alright. Bummer. I'd much rather pay the $20 I was originally going to pay.

Cassini90125 08-19-2010 01:41 PM

The complete Foster's bobblehead set is again available on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...E:B:SS:US:1123

Pretty stiff price. :P

KazooBloo 12-14-2016 11:51 PM

I hear its the Wilt bobble buddies that are really rare! :D
