Mac's been mugged!!

Bloo has too, for that matter. Poor boys. Eh, it's not so bad really. Because what I'm actually referring to is they got their faces on a Late mug. :bloosmirk:

My largest online photo album at good ol' Snapfish has a catch for it being free. And that is you need to order something from them at least once a year. If you don't, they delete all your photos. I've always been happy with them, though. So, the time had come for me to oder something again, and searching through what they have, I decided to get a mug, as I drink a looot of tea. But what picture should I put on it? Hmmm.... Tough decision. But I don't think I can ever have enough Foster's stuff, so here ya go!

The "card" was a little too tall to fit perfectly, so I had to crop the very top off, but it isn't a problem. My camera is el cheapo, so I couldn't get close enough to show all the details without it getting a tad blurry (argh!), but it's not too bad. If you can't quite read the text on the back it says "Nice Mac. In 1, 2... Bloo!!" :P 8D

Very nice quality, I might add. Bright, crisp color. Heavy ceramic. Nice 15 oz size for a nice big cup of tea, or hot cocoa, or cider, or coffee. Whatever. Yay, I can have tea with Foster's now!

Edit: Oh, and that's my cat Joey in the first pic, looking through the railing of my patio at the spring flowers blooming on the tree, and looking for his two little friends who live in another apt. across the parking lot.

NIiiiiice.:)

One Radical Dude 03-19-2008 10:01 PM

Cool. That's a sweet mug there. I'll definitely drink to that! ...drink tea, that is. :)

Cassini90125 03-19-2008 11:39 PM

Oh, very nice! Blurry or not, the colors came out well. Great idea! :)

Imaginary Light 03-20-2008 06:53 AM

That is so darn cute!

Carlaz 03-20-2008 07:47 AM

Looks quite loverly! I thought your cat in the background was a furry arm reaching for the mug when I first looked at the pics! 8D

pitbulllady 03-20-2008 09:51 AM

That's a really cute mug; I totally would love to have one of Wilt!

Cute cat, too, by the way-love how he's so excited about the mug, lol! Cats, gotta love 'em, even if they just can't get into the same things we do! This pic reminds me of one of Craig's comics on DA, "Adventureman", in which one of the main features is a cat that is just being a cat, totally disinterested and unconcerned about his owner's desire to save the world.

Wow. That's a beautiful piece of custom Foster's merchandise you have there, Lynnie. Snapfish do sound like the sneaky sort, but you certainly can't fault them upon the quality of their printing.

Oh, and nice kitty cat too. ;D

Sparky 03-20-2008 11:16 AM

Neat!! I guess they aren't going to like, do anything to your account for using a copyrighted image or anything? I make copyrighted stuff through Cafepress sometimes (the trick is to upload the image and order the product immediately, so that by the time someone gets around to checking if the image is copyrighted, the product has been shipped already). And then quickly remove the image from the account. ;) Once I uploaded a pic of Cheese to make a shirt but my connection was bad so I had to give up before ordering the shirt, and they caught me. :P

WiltsAKGirl17 03-20-2008 01:41 PM

Very sharp, Lynnie. Man, I wish I had a mug like that... :)

Lynnie 03-20-2008 06:51 PM

Thanks for the compliments, guys. :)

I love Joey. He's my Precious. My Bloopy. My Keeper Koo! Haha, I have lots of silly nick names for him. Right now he's buried himself in the excess of the afghan I have draped over my lap (it's kinda chilly right now, might even snow tonight, but that's another story).

*now goes to Craig's dA page to see the kitty cartoon*

I've had a number of copyrighted pics saved in my Snapfish album for some time now, and nothing ever came of it. However I've never ordered anything with one of them on it until now. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Not a bad idea to take them off my account now, huh? It's not like I'll no longer have quick and easy access to them. :slybendy:

Try it with PhotoStamps however, and it won't work. :P

And now he's been magnetized!

And so has Blooregard.

Yeah, that time has come around again where I needed to order something from my online photo album in order to save the hundreds of pictures I have saved there. I could have just ordered an 8 cent print, and only paid that and postage. No biggie. But I've been wanting another magnet or two for some time, so I took the opportunity to order some magnets. Of Foster's of course.

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...rs/magnets.jpg
Here they are, the big one is a standard 4" by 7" photo, with a magnet back. The smaller one is 2" by 3". I think they both turned out great, great color, sturdy quality, although the smaller one I like a bit better because it's crisper, and I could have cropped the larger one a bit better (I should have brought the cropping down a little so there'd be less empty space above Bloo's head). They are holding a fun little piece of art my sister did for me last year (ironically, around this time, too). I kept the pic big so you can read the silly things she wrote. I love my baby sis. :berry:

Cassini90125 02-24-2009 05:50 PM

Very nice indeed!

Mac-a-lacka 02-24-2009 05:57 PM

Awesome magnets! :) ;D

Lynnie 02-24-2009 07:52 PM

Thank you guys! I love them too. And I'm glad I have two more magnets to hold onto the post cards and drawings on my fridge. I have a lot. :smed:

Pawbah 02-25-2009 01:51 AM

That is an awesome, awesome mug.... I am jealous.

The magnets are totally cool too.

jekylljuice 02-25-2009 08:05 AM

Great magnets, Lynnie - they came out very authentic-looking. And I can tell that your sister is quite the talented little doodler too. :)

Lynnie 02-25-2009 02:28 PM

Thank you! :) I think if I ever order magnets again though, I'll stick to the smaller size. It's much more versatile. And yes, my sister is quite a good artist. She's drawn a number of Foster's related pieces for me, and most of them are on my fridge. She has a fun sense of humor too, and she's good at putting it into her artwork. I've thought about making a thread where I can share all the Foster's stuff she's drawn for me, and invited her to start one herself, but she's shy. *shrug*

AXavierB 02-27-2009 12:17 AM

That's adorable. =P

Imaginary Light 02-27-2009 10:24 AM

Oh my goodness, I love those magnets! How cool.:P And cute drawings from your sis too.:)

Lynnie 04-03-2010 10:50 PM

And now he's been chained!

And so has Blooregard.

I got this actually about two months ago since that's when I got the notification from Snapfish that it was time to buy something if I wanted to save all my pictures, but I'm just now taking and uploading pictures since, guess what, I have a computer again! :yeah:

I have a custom Foster's keychain, yay!

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/keychain.png
It's one inch by one inch. The back is just a textured silver, I wish the picture was on both sides, but oh well. The picture almost looks 3D with how crisp the colors are, and there's a thick layer of glossy scratch resistant material over it, which just makes it look deep. I'm very pleased with it! I didn't see all that "dust" until I uploaded the pic. Don't know where it came from. Also in the pic is a little grey hair to the left that belongs to Joey. Yes, that is just as interesting as the keychain. 8D

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a.../Keychain2.png
Another shot of it propped up on one of my sweaters. Haha, I just love the expression on the boys' faces here.

Cassini90125 04-03-2010 10:58 PM

Very nice, considering you were blackmailed into buying it. ;)

Lynnie 04-16-2010 11:35 PM

For the record, I never felt like I was being blackmailed. Yes, you have to buy something from them every year to keep your pictures safe, but that could be as cheap as a $0.12 print. And it's a great online photo album. ;) I've loved everything I've gotten from them, they're all very high quality and I've gotten good use of everything I've gotten. I've even given some of them as gifts (none of my Foster's stuff, though).

KazooBloo 12-26-2016 03:24 AM

Cute cat.
