Hey folks; I know this topic may be a bit cliché, but I think some good could come from it. There are several questions below that I would like for everybody to answer, as this can allow us to understand more about one another’s fandom for the series. If you would rather not use the word “best”, feel free to just use your favorites as the answers. With that, I’ll get straight to the questions, and my answers will be listed below them.

My Answers Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best? I'd have to go with the recent "Affair Weather Friends". Berry is my favorite character, and even though I loved "Berry Scary", this episode really made me happy. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? Berry Scary, hands down. Berry is an awesome character, and I feel that the jokes and so forth in that episode were some of the best in the series. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? Frankie My Dear; I don't remember much about the episode, since I haven't watched it in a long time, but it was my favorite episode of the second season. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? Affair Weather Friends; I think it was the best episode in the series, so I naturally think it's the best episode in the fifth season. Which human character do you believe is the best? Frankie; I don't really have much to say about my choice, though. Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best? Berry; I loved her personality and she's an awesome character. She may be insane, but there are methods to her madness and she's the best villain in the entire series. Which “minor”, or background character, do you believe is the best? I guess I'll go with that pink bear thing that has bat wings. Reminds me of something straight out of disgaea, but I haven't seen that character in quite some time. Not sure if it has a name, or what it even is. |

Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best?- "Squeeze the Day", because it's Mac and Bloo at their best, being best friends, being kids (or, at least a kid and his IF), and having fun. And it's funny as anything! Bloo isn't really a jerk in the episode, either. I think it portrays what the entire show is about, and it does it very well. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best?- "House of Bloo's", if that counts, because why else, it's where it all began! If that doesn't count, I'd have to say "Dinner is Swerved" because it's about Mac and Bloo being friends (and being lost in a giant mansion- my own childhood dream). :herrsleep: Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best?- "Frankie My Dear" because it's so sweet and funny, a perfect example of what makes Foster's so great. Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best?- "Go Goo Go" because it gives us more of a look into the "creating" of IFs, and focuses on what's important in a friendship, both between Mac and Goo, and Goo and her IFs. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best?- Uh, "Squeeze the Day? Ok, already mentioned it, so I'll choose... "Make Believe it or Not". It's just so imaginative, with twists and turns, funny as ever, and once again, we see emphasis on what the show is all about- Friendship. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best?- So far? Hmm, probably "Affair Weather Friends" because, what can I say, it was so full of ups and downs and delightful surprises. Another great example of what makes Foster's so great! Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best?- Toughy, but I probably have to say... season 4. There were only two episodes in it that I didn't care so much for ("TBC" and "EC"). And even they weren't all that bad. Simply put, it was just full of fun! Which of the special episodes do you believe is the best?- "Good Wilt Hunting", it was very important for character development, sweeter than anything else I'd seen in a long while, had great funny moments, and was, once again, a perfect example of what makes Foster's so great! Which of the shorts do you believe is the best?- I haven't seen the kitty one (don't remember what it's called, man, I want to see it!) or "Petrified Pet" yet, but as I think I've seen all the others, I probably have to say "Drawing Bored". It was original and just too funny! 8D Which human character do you believe is the best?- Mac, definitely. Because without Mac, we wouldn't have Bloo! And without Bloo, we wouldn't have Mac and Bloo! Without Madame F. there'd be no "Foster's Home", but at least we could still have Mac and Bloo. Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best?- Wilt, because he's the perfect example that every human being on earth should try to look at as a roll model. Bloo may be the main attraction, but as "best" I'd expect him to be a roll model of some sort. Do we really want Bloo to be a roll model? ::) Which ?minor?, or background character, do you believe is the best?- Jordan Micheals because he's just a grown kid, and still loves his IF, and is also a great roll model. I guess Madame F. is too, but she's not a background character. Cool deal. :) |

Ooooh... you're making me decide? I'd have to say Go Goo Go, simply because of the fact that you really felt for Goo, and this episode taught me something important... the value of friendship. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? House of Bloo's. It's a cute story full of warmth, and was something I could relate to. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? Frankie My Dear. Frankie deserved a day off from her chores, and it was nice to see a side of her we don't usually get to see. Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? See my above post, Go Goo Go. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? Squeeze the Day, because if I were to visit my friend who was living in a mansion that big on his own, I'd do some crazy things too. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? At this point, it's Affair Weather Friends. It had a twist I didn't see coming, and I really felt for Mac in this episode. Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? I'd rather not say at this point since we haven't seen all of the 5th season... is that ok? Which of the special episodes do you believe is the best? Good Wilt Hunting. This was another episode that made me cry, because the characters felt so real. I also love what Wilt says on the plane about why he wants to stay at Foster's. Which of the shorts do you believe is the best? I really love Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow. School Picture Day has always been a nightmare for everyone, but it was the worst for Mac. XD Which human character do you believe is the best? Mac. I see a lot of myself in him, and he has a vivid imagination like a lot of us. Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best? Eduardo. I see a bit of myself in him, since I feel like a child at heart, and I like potatoes! Which ?minor?, or background character, do you believe is the best? Even though he hasn't really said anything, or had any form of a role... Mr. Edmonton. Seriously, he's a sharp dresser! |
My opinions on past episodes have been prone to change, relative to other episodes, so if any of these expressed here conflict with earlier answers, just remember that a girl can always change her mind!
Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best? That's a real tough one, but I'll have to go with the first episode I ever saw, "Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree", if you only consider regular episodes. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? I'm going out on a limb here, since my choice is one that is often criticized by many fans, but honestly, I still like "Blooooooooo"-great lines, and for once, I really felt sorry for Bloo being in a bad situation that wasn't his own fault. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? "Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree"-good lines and exposure for most of the characters, some great references that only the older fans would get, and that catchy beat! Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? "Room With a Feud"-very funny, and really a refreshing change-of-pace to see Wilt's highly competitive, show-off side, and see him put himself first for once. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? REALLY tough decision here, but I guess I'm going with "Bus The Two of Us"-funny as heck, a cameo by Arthur Dent(!), and more of Wilt's "dark side" showing up under extreme pressure. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? Of course, the jury is still out on this one, but as of yet, my favorite is "Bloo Superdude and the Potato of Power"-can't say anything bad about this bit of craziness. Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? Again, it's too early to pass judgement on Season Five, but so far, my favorite is Season Four. Which of the special episodes do you believe is the best? Good Wilt Hunting, absolutely NO contest there-best made-for-tv movie PERIOD! Which of the shorts do you believe is the best? Being an Art teacher, naturally my favorite is "Drawing Bored". Which human character do you believe is the best? I've gotta go with Frankie. I like and admire Mac, but I still relate to the beleaguered red-head best. Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best? Talk about a no-brainer! Wilt, of course, absolutely hands-down, no competition! He's the reason I started watching the series in the first place! Which ?minor?, or background character, do you believe is the best? I honestly cannot decide there; Red, Jackie Khones(though his attitude in the latest season has sorta turned me the other way), Cy, and most recently, Bloppy Pants, all earn a spot, but really, I have to say that Duchess is my favorite. I think that there's a really interesting back-story there that accounts for a lot of her nastiness, and lately we've seen a slight sympathetic edge to her. pitbulllady |

I'd have to say "Bus the Two of Us", mainly because of Bloo in the beginning, where he leans out the window barking at the dog, and then gets hit by a sign ;] Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? "Blooooo", it was a fun episode, and I like ghost-type things :] Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? "Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree", and "Frankie My Dear." I enjoyed Mac's sugar rush at the party, and Orlando Bloo just about killed me from laughing so hard. I also liked seeing Frankie more :3 Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? "Land of the Flea", because seeing Bloo's, Coco's and Wilt's reaction to when Ed is talking to the fleas, and then introduces the trio to the fleas, makes me crack up :] Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? Well since "Bus the Two of Us" is my favorite of the entire series (so far), I'll just say my second favorite episode for this question =P Which would have to be "Neighbor Pains", because Orlando Bloo returns and once again I couldn't stop laughing =P Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? Subject to change, but as of now it's "Schlock Star", I enjoyed the whole episode but the beginning hit me, since I act just like Bloo does when some weird noise wakes me up and I can't find the source :] Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? Squeeze The Day! I love that episode so much. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? House Of Bloos! But if that doesn't count because it's a movie, then The Trouble With Scribbles. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? Frankie My Dear! :-* With Partying not too far behind. Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? I can't decide from Go Goo Go, Setting A President, One False Movie, Room With A Feud. And I haven't seen Camp Keep A Good Mac Down yet. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? Squeeze The Day! And a few honerable mentions go to Bus The Two Of Us, Neighbour Pains, and Make Believe It Or Not. Totally a hard decision! I would pick Go Goo Go because you feel for the characters and that's what happened to me with Goo. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? I've always loved Who Let the Dogs Out because I have a puppy and I love animals, especially dogs. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? All I am doing is trying to make sure is that the rules are being followed, and yes starting discussion threads without contributing to them yourself is considered against the rules of the forum. So what, if you haven't seen every single solitary second of Foster's from the day it debuted back in 2004 to today. That doesn't mean that your opinions are any less valid then any one else on the board. And we would still like to hear them regardless. (We might be able to find out some pretty interesting stuff, like why did you stop watching in the first place? And what made you start watching again? Wilt, a supremely endearing and interesting IF if ever there was one, had long been begging for his turn in the limelight (true, he did have “Where there’s a Wilt, there’s a way, but it was a little too brief and superficial for my liking) and this episode finally answered some of the burning questions surrounding his character and answered them more than satisfactorily, whilst still leaving other things open-ended enough to generate discussion (how did Wilt survive between leaving Jordan and coming to Foster’s, for example). That it’s by turns funny and touching and has a great story certainly doesn’t hamper it. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? Seeing Red - Red is a flower child after my own heart, and Terrence is always good for laughs. Another thing I like about this episode is how it captures Bloo’s softer and more sensitive side. Too bad that Red didn’t become a regular player, but hey, there’s still time for him to make a second appearance. ;D Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? This is much more of a toughie, given that there are a few Season 2 episodes with equally strong things for me to like about them - namely, the Big LaBlooski, the Sweet Stench of Success, Cookie Dough, Frankie My Dear and Partying is Such a Sweet Soiree. But if pressed, I’ll tip the hat to TBLB, for the cameo appearance from a certain trio of Coen Bros characters, and TSSOS, since it’s currently the only place to find my favourite human/villain/one-off character. Room with a Feud - a relatively simple premise that worked a treat, and involved all four leading IFs (and Jackie Khones :jk:) very nicely. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? The aforementioned Good Wilt Hunting…but if you’d like a little variation in my answers, then Bus the Two of Us. I laughed until my intestines ached. 8D Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? I’m not sure if I’m really qualified to answer this one, since I’ve only actually seen three episodes thus far - but of the three, Schlock Star quite easily claims the crown. Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? So far, it’s a toss-up between seasons 2 and 4. But then I haven’t yet seen enough of Season 5 to make a sound judgement. Like many others here, there’s a special place in my heart for Drawing Bored - but at the same time, there’s also something I find strangely cool and alluring about that Coconuts short. "Coco-Nuts-Arr-Fa-lingfrom...." Which human character do you believe is the best? Well, it’s just a personal preference, but I am totally honest when I say Kip Snip. True, he only appeared in one episode and we haven’t heard a peep out of him since, but I reckon he still fits the criteria. See, as much as I identify with Wilt’s insecurities and admire his steadfast desire to put others above himself and always do the right thing, the truth is…I love a bad boy. :blooevil: Kip owns. Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best? Wilt. What is there not to like about him? For starters he’s the perfect gentleman, his character design is simply beautiful and there’s always been a lot of depth and understatement from the beginning. Plus, I love how sweetly neurotic he is - I've had OCD for most of my teenage/twentysomething life, and his personal doubts and constant need to apologise are something I can really relate to, and I think it is portrayed really well...no small feat, given how frequently the media misses the mark when it comes to matters of mental and emotional health. Yay, Wilt. :D Which “minor”, or background character, do you believe is the best? I’ve already singled Kip out as my favourite minor character, but if you were thinking more along the lines of one of the supporting IFs who frequently show up in the backdrop of the house, then sweet little Crackers without hesitation. How anyone can slam eyeballs against that little darling and not want to pick him up and take him out for ice cream is beyond me. |

My second favourite ep of all time. Which of the fourth season....yada yada yada As mentioned above, Infernal Slumber. Which of the fifth season, etc Affair Weather Friends, so far. I've only seen five eps of season five so far, so I'm even less certain of this than the rest of you. Which is your favourite season? Season four, so far. I see great potential for season five..... Which is your favourite special episode? The same as everyone else. There's really only been two special episodes, and this one really stands out. Which of the shorts do you like most? Haven't really seen many. Can't comment. Which human character do you like most? Hard to pick! They're all good, but I gotta say Frankie. Which Imaginary Friend do you like most? Wilt, to keep with my theme of giving the obvious answer. Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best? Oh, why must you tempt me?! Seriously, this show is filled with so many great episodes that it's very hard to choose just one, but if I was forced to choose one at gunpoint I guess I would go with "Good Wilt Hunting" as well (tv movies count, right?). I just thought it was extremely well-done by the Foster's crew since it answered so many questions about our favorite tall, red, basketball-playing imaginary friend...not to mention how the humor and tender moments balanced out quite nicely. If I could give an episode a perfect 10, this one would definitely deserve it. Other honorable mentions would go to "A Lost Claus" (It would be my second pick, actually), "Frankie, My Dear" and "House of Bloos". Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? This is another difficult choice since there are so many great episodes from this season. I think I will go with "House of Bloos", though, because it was a great way to start the series. It really gave us all a general idea of what the characters' personalities were like instead of just throwing in some random characters without any depth or personality almost as if we were expected to care about them regardless (a major problem I had when I watched the Squirrel Boy premiere last year, by the way. Yes, I tried to give this horrid show a chance! XP). It also had a slight sense of epicness that I don't see in many children's shows since Mac and Bloo had to go through a few life-changing experiences when you think about it (Mac was so used to having Bloo at home all the time and I'm sure that Bloo himself was used to this as well. You can't tell me that nothing changed for them when Mac had to take him to Foster's!). Honorable mentions: "Store Wars", "World Wide Wabbit", "Berry Scary", "Adoptcalypse Now" and "Blooooo" Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? Ah, another good season of Foster's. I think I'd give this one to "Frankie My Dear" basically for the same reasons as many others would. Plus, I liked how it looked into Frankie's love life and all of the supporting characters were hilarious. It was also the first time we ever got to see "Orlando Bloo", so how could I NOT love it?! XD Honorable mentions go to "Partying is Such Sweet Soiree" since it would've come in a close third only behind the one I mentioned earlier and "Sweet Stench of Success", which would also make it into my honors list. Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? I'm definitely going to give this one to "A Lost Claus". Like I said in another thread somewhere on here, this episode definitely had a major "Charlie Brown" vibe going in some areas and the humor was sublime, especially the Bob Marley gags. :P But what really got me was the touching message that was found in the episode. When Mac begins to lose faith in the idea of Santa Claus, but ends up keeping that faith when he gets what he secretly asked for at the end of the special (remember the underwear?! XD), I must say that deep down I believe that this was obviously representing the idea of never giving up hope or faith if you have a strong belief in what you are doing or feeling (whether that would be miracles or even a religious faith could be up to the viewer, I suppose). Sure, some of that was humorous, but I think it was meant to be a bit deeper at the same time. Honorable mentions: "Eddie Monster", "Camp Keep a Good Mac Down", "One False Movie" and "Cuckoo For Coco Cards" Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? Well, I would say "Good Wilt Hunting", but I'm going to go for something else to "spice things up". ;) Instead I'm going to go for "Bus the Two of Us" simply because I found the humor to be really great in it. My honorable mention goes to "Squeeze the Day" because I found it to be almost as funny as "BtToU". Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? Well, this one is not going to be as accurate as the others because I still haven't seen all of the season five episodes yet! :( (I missed "Schlock Star" and "The Bloo Superdude and the Magic Potato of Power" since I was either doing other things or doing college work during the time they aired) However, so far I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and say that "Affair Weather Friends" is the best one I've seen so far. The episode was already enjoyable to begin with, but Berry's return was unexpected (although I probably should've seen the plot twist coming I actually didn't! It was a shocker to me! And was it just me, or was Berry, like, ten times as psychotic as she was in "Berry Scary"? :P) and that made it all the more exciting for me. Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? While I like all of the seasons of this show seasons one and three hold special places in my heart. I would probably pick season one over three, though, only because most of my favorite episodes happen to be from that season. Which of the special episodes do you believe is the best? "Good Wilt Hunting" for all of the reasons mentioned earlier. Which of the shorts do you believe is the best? I haven't seen all of these, so I'm not sure which one I'd go with yet, honestly. Which human character do you believe is the best? Sooo hard to choose since I think Frankie and Mac are nearly equals, but I think I'm going to go with Frankie only because I can relate to her a little more than I can Mac. But they're both pretty close and probably actually tie when it comes to how they're structured as characters. Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best? Wilt, of course! My reasons?...they're so obvious that I shouldn't even have to explain them. ;) Which “minor”, or background character, do you believe is the best? I'd say Red, but I'm also starting to lean toward "Cherry"...uh...I mean Berry now, too! :P I guess I like both of them the same! Seriously, after Berry's crazy schemes in the latest episode I've started to wonder what exactly she was created for to begin with. Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best?
Despite my overwhelming love for "Frankie my dear". I think "Store Wars" was probably their greatest episode ever created. It was a simple idea of having everyone getting lost in the mall and ti came out hilarious. All of the characters got a chance to be involved and it worked on SO many levels. Bloo's whiny ass attitude and his classic "Rip off artist" have become unforgettable, not to mention the "cactus scene". I never get tired of seeing Bloo doing that :). Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? Like I said for the upper one, "Store Wars" a close 2nd is "Berry Scary" followed by "Bloooo!". Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? "Frankie my dear". My reasons? Goes without saying :-*. Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? "Setting a president" SHOCK GASP! Another Frankie episode you say? Not only does it star my beloved red headed Frankie, but it was a great episode in general. Bloo was hilarious in his campaign for himself and especially for Mr. Herriman. Frankie really proved how capable she is and how well liked she is. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? This was hard because there were SO many good episodes in this season like "Infernal Slumber", "Bus the 2 of us" and "The Big Cheese". But in the end, "Squeeze the day" was freaking hilarious. Bloo and Mac's antics are beyond funny, their crazy screaming and goofy ideas is solid GOLD Fosters material. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? Even though the 5th season isn't done yet, and I missed the first few minutes of this episode, I think "The Bloo Superdude and The Magic Potato of Power" was the best. It just had so much going for it. So many weird inside jokes, costumes, and total weirdness. It was a blast. The characters never looked so awesome and funny. Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? Season 4. It had the most top notch episodes running beside each other. It has the most number of best episodes than any other season if you ask me. Only one episode in there doesn't fit in my opinion, and that was the piece of crap "I only have surprise for you". Which of the special episodes do you believe is the best? Good Wilt Hunting, nothing can be said about it that really hasn't already been said. Which of the shorts do you believe is the best? Give pizza a chance. Which human character do you believe is the best? Do you even have to ask :frankiesmile:? Which Imaginary Friend do you believe is the best? Eduardo. He's just so cute and so much fun to watch. His monster appearance, his crybaby nature and seeing him go crazy over the most bizarre things from mattress sales to potatoes. Which ?minor?, or background character, do you believe is the best? I'm tied on that one. I originally was gonna put George Mucas, I always liked slime monsters and he has a cool look to him despite the fact he's practically a mute, but after seeing "Affair weather friends" Berry has now totally floored me into reconsidering. So all in all, a tie between Berry and George Mucas. |

Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best? I would definately have to say Bus the Two of us. I personally thought that was the funniest episode yet, and it really kept me engaged and excited. This was also the epsiode I watched last time I went to see my grandparents, and I'm glad they got to watch this episode of all. They really liked it. Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? Store Wars. When I watched Hous of Bloo's I didn't really think the show was that great, but Store Wars really changed my mind. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? My So Called Wife. I thought it was a really clever and witty episode, and I still think Ben E. Factor was hilarious. Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? It's hard to narrow it down, I can't just choose one. Camp Kepp a Good Mac own, Duchess of Wails, One False Movie, and Cuckoo for Coco Cards are my favorites of all of them, though. Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? Bus the Two of Us, obviously. But Bloo's the Boss and Infernal Slumber are up there, too. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? If I had to choose just one, I'd explode. Which episode of the entire series do you believe is the best? Yikes, I really don't know. There are so many good ones for all different reasons, and some of them are uncomparable! Which episode of the first season do you believe is the best? Hmm... either Store Wars or Adoptcalypse Now. Both of them have good storylines and are really funny. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? I'd list about half of the season if I could XD but I think that my very fave of season 2 is The Sweet Stench Of Success. There are a lot of good bits in it, and I particularly like the Broadway-style show Bloo performs in at the end - and Eduardo's potato song!! Which episode of the third season do you believe is the best? One False Movie. I always feel happy watching that eppie! Which episode of the fourth season do you believe is the best? Bus The Two Of Us. The whole concept of it is so hilarious, and there just isn't a dull moment. Which episode of the fifth season do you believe is the best? This one's still new to the UK (I haven't even seen 2 of the episodes yet) so I'm not very familiar with them, but Schlock Star was pretty awesome. Heh... another good musical episode! Which of the five seasons do you believe is the best? I like all of them, but season 2 is probably my favourite overall since so many of my fave episodes are in that one. Again, I'd pick them all if I could, although I think A Lost Claus was particularly good for the fact that it really seems to put you in that Christmas spirit. Which episode of the second season do you believe is the best? Mac Daddy introduced Cheese, and it is the only episode that does him justice. Well, if I don't count the specials...I think I'll go with "Room With A Feud," though there are many other awesome episodes. I was laughing all the way through, and I enjoyed seeing Wilt actually stick up for himself for once. XD Keep in mind I haven't seen all of the eps yet, though, so my opinion may end up changing.
