Cartoon Network will celebrate Independence Day Wednesday, July 4th with a full day and night of Foster's episodes!

Maybe we'll see a nwe episode or two! :bloocross:

How come they replace the new Foster's episodes with Gym Partner. Gym Partner's an Ok show, but how about they put Gym Partner in placeon Code Lyoko or that Storm Hawks (both of which are horrible) instead of Foster's! :frankiemad::terrence:

...But I like Code Lyoko! XDD

But yeah, Gym Partner could be placed over Storm Hawks (That show is just...blegh.)

Umm...when does it end?
 

As you well know, on Julyb 4th, the 231st anniversary of the Declartion of Independence here in the USA, Cartoon Network will be running the annual Red White and Bloo Marathon.

As we pointed out in another thread started by truly yours, the event runs from 6 AM until 11 PM. I guess someone in the CN promos department forget the memo when I saw this on cartoonnetwork.com today (6/26):

Must've forgot the same week, [adult swim] starts a half-hour later that week, too.

What would be "okay" is, if you're going to post a "back on topic" post, to...I dunno...be on topic yourself? :jk: Otherwise you're being just as off-topic as the person you're chiding. I saw it on Tv. I don't think i may watch all episodes because i can remember alot about it, but It's exciting!

To get back on topic (My one post & everyone goes insane?:P) I like how CN chose Foster's instead of some action show to run on 4th of July. :D Too abd they aren't airing some of my favorite episodes.

I'm hoping one or two of the shorts will be played between episodes. They've occasionally played them right after House Of Blues and Good Wilt Hunting; with a little luck, maybe they'll do so on the 4th.

Actually, one of the segements from one of the two-part episodes will air after House of Bloo's July 4th. They always seem to do that when they have to fill time.

Ah, what a nice marathon this ought to be. Unfortunately, I likely won't be able to catch it at all.

Yeah, I won't be able to watch the whole thing either. I can't wait for it though! Too bad my favorite episode is the first episode and there is no way I'm getting out of bed to watch it!

I'll be watching, just like I did last year. Don't think I'll be getting up at 6 to catch it from the beginning though. Hmm, I might have to go out and get some ice cream and other sinful food and gorge myself within an inch of my life! Aahh, the makings of a perfect day... :D

My mom told me that the fireworks were for my birthday when I was little, no lie...

It's crappy quality (because I needed to keep the filesize down) but I uploaded an ad for the marathon to Youtube. I like how they used the figure set, the same one that I have, as props. :D (I may take this vid down later, I could upload a better quality one to Megaupload if anyone must have that.) Lol Bloo in the baked beans. And Wilt in the potato salad.

Aw man, I should be taping this marathon. They've been showing shorts and special bumpers and stuff...

Great. I wish CN would've told us beforehand. I'm turning on the DVR, maybe I'll get lucky between now and the end. :P

I probably should have taped it too, because then I could have caught some of the shorts I missed, and the old ones I enjoy that Youtube TOOK DOWN AND STILL HAS LEFT ME VERY BITTER ABOUT!!!! :scaryberry: Sigh anyway.

I'll probably be switching back and forth from this marathon to the Law and Order marathon TNT is running for 4th of July also. I should also probably take this time to wish everyone a happy 4th of July and a great Independence day :D!

CheeseQuest ran today!

I started taping right after CheeseQuest; if they air(ed) it again (we've been out for a few hours) then I'll have a copy of it. (It's only 4 pm where I am)

edit: 5 pm: Am recording it right now! So if no one else gets it online I will.

I caught part of the marathon, in between our church's July 4th picnic and the fireworks display at the airport, and I did see "Cheese Quest" and the first half of GWH, but I didn't see any bumpers other than the same one of BFAHP, and the same marathon bumpers of the toys at the picnic, and I didn't see any of the shorts. Did they air any new shorts or commercials, other than those I mentioned?

I didn't see any shorts at all. Unfortunately, what I did see was that the splash ads were even more pervasive and annoying than ever. Come on, CN! I don't need to be told in the middle of a Foster's episode that I'm watching a Foster's episode! Even a six-year-old knows that! >:(

The Quest for Cheese
 

This is a preemptive thank you for whoever gets CheeseQuest online. I've been looking around the internet for it today (why I didn't come here first?). We (me and my kids - all huge Foster's fans) caught it yesterday by luck during Red White and :bloosmirk:).


Off topic: Also, anyone have a link for Drawing Board? My kids **love** it - you the YouTube one is "broken" (just audio w/ blury clips).:sadbendy:

I have Drawing Board as an FLV (as in, I got it from Youtube) so I can either post it like that and you can use FLV Player like I do or perhaps I can convert it...Anyways I'll go through the tapes I made of the marathon today and get as much online as I can.
