Bendy

I like Bendy. Why not? He looks like one of those innocent Dr. Seuss characters, behaves badly and gets away with it, and drives Bloo up a wall. Sounds like fun to me.

Frankie: "Bloo! You flooded the house!"
Bloo: "Yeah, but Bendy took a cookie!"

Still one of my favorite exchanges from the series. I doubt we'll ever see the little menace again, but I'd love it if they'd bring him back once or twice. :)

Scribble 08-26-2006 07:12 AM

Actually, I really didn't like Bendy... I don't think it was really the fact he was a troublemaker (I mean I like Bloo how ever much trouble he causes) but there was something about him that just really got on my nerves. And I hated the way the other friends were always framed by him... I guess it was more the storyline than the character. I did like his character design though.:)

billytheskink 08-26-2006 08:43 AM

Well, you are supposed to love to hate Bendy, at least that seemed like what the writers were going for.

He was nicely designed, but I just couldn't find his mean spirit very entertaining. Except for his hijacking of the intercom, that was hilarious.

Voxxyn 08-26-2006 10:22 AM

I know Bendy and EKIB are the bane of many Foster's fans... but, honestly, I can't hate it, if only because the intercom bit remains one of the series' very best moments. Frankie being deeply hurt and saddened as she said "I'm punk rock..." is just adorable.

Bendy is a good antagonist character. He's the kind you love to hate, instead of just hating him.

rukift 08-26-2006 10:25 AM

I should just go ahead and say this right now, I love Bendy. :D His episode not so much, it was a little repetative. But the character? Yeah, he's just so cool. He's one of the many one-shots who I can't stop thinking about why he acts the way he does, my theory there being that he was you know, just sort of born that way like "Frank, Joe, and Phil" were. I don't think he went through anything traumatic, like Wilt or possibly Berry. He's just always been a little brat. :P

You and me both. There was just something about his character (can't quite place my finger on it) that I just didn't like. He was just kind of annoying.

His voice was really what irritated me... he was just so whiny! I think what also irritated me was the way everyone FELL FOR IT! Although I DID think it was a little comical whenever he got Wilt in trouble by putting muddy sneaker prints everywhere lol... they were all the way on the ceiling!! The humor comes in how obvious it was that it WASN'T Wilt.

kaytea 09-05-2006 11:05 PM

I liked bendy I thought he was pretty cool and had a great design

but whatever happen to him? was he adopted kicked out caus they found out what he was doing or is he still roaming the house causing havoc?

the second one I kinda doubt caus of the the fosters code.

rukift 09-08-2006 01:35 PM

I'd like to think that over time, he changed and went out to set things right with his first kid... but that is sooo unlikely. :P He's probably still roaming around and getting into trouble.

Voxxyn 09-08-2006 02:56 PM

More like getting others in trouble :blooevil:

Just imagine a Bendy/Goofball team-up...

I like to think Bendy would get Goofball into some serious, serious trouble. With the New Guy. :o

:O! God, that'd be brilliant... but seriously how would it work? Goofball's so uncaring, so even if he was in trouble, he'd just be all "meh" over it.

still though awesome idea :B

kaytea 09-09-2006 04:06 PM

lol too bad bendy and bloo are enemys D= think of the things they can do togother

lol that sounded wrong >_>

Mr. Marshmallow 09-09-2006 09:54 PM

I don't know to me, I would think Bendy would be more inclined to team up with Wally rather then Goofball. Goofball seemed directly aiming his annoying tendencies towards Frankie and no one else, not even Mr. Herriman.

Bendy as well as Wally don't have any problems upsetting MASS amounts of people. Wally even pranked Bloo after he went all the way out to go find them, and even tell him that he was his biggest fan and all that jazz.

One thing I did like about Bendy was his appearance, he just had a cool, bee like appearance to him. He almost seemed like a evil version of a Sesame Street character or something, or a skinny version of the Pokemon Electabuzz.

Ricky Fieldmouse 10-22-2006 05:58 AM

What episode does Bendy appear? I don't think I've ever heard of him.

Bendy appeared in "Every one Knoews it's Bendy"

I do somewhat like Bendy's character, but I really felt bad that Wilt, Coco, and Eduardo got blamed for some of the stuff. Bloo, I personally think he deserved it. :blooevil:

I also like Bendy's design, he reminded me of a Dr. Suess character.

Invader Bloo 10-22-2006 12:04 PM

The kid must of been a Dr fan. :P

Vampyre 10-24-2006 06:48 AM

If you ask me, I think Bendy's awesome. I'm not sure why because nomrlaly in shows really nasty trouble makers seriously get on my nerves but I really like him :D

HappyFoppy 10-24-2006 10:10 AM

I actually wonder what happened to Bendy now. He stopped doing bad stuff? He got adopted? HE SPLODED? No one knows. :)

I think he was really funny, but also it was sad he blamed the Foster's Four. Why no-one else? ;)

It was simply a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Howard 02-23-2007 08:20 AM

I liked Bendy. I liked his design, and his expressions; he was a little too whiny though, but definitely something to see again in the future.:bendy:

Vampyre 02-23-2007 09:57 AM

I'm unsure why everyone seems to dislike the episode 'Every One Knows It's Bendy' to be honest. I really liked it, even if I WAS let down by 'Where There's a Wilt There's a Way'. Bendy has got to be my fvaourite minor character next to Foul Larry and Jackie Khons XD

I thought this episode was hilarious! From Frankie's cute "I'm punk rock!," to Bendy's expressions - it was priceless!:slybendy:

One Radical Dude 02-23-2007 07:15 PM

Bendy is so-so to me now. At first, I really didn't like the character at all. Now, I think he's all right. Too bad that the gang got blamed for all of Bendy's shenanigans. :P

Crash-N-Cortex 02-23-2007 07:28 PM

I didn't really like Bendy much, due to his character. Unless we see him in another episode, I feel that Bendy would get away with a lot of things.

WiltFan 02-24-2007 09:13 AM

I like Bendy! ^_^ (especially that smile of his:bendy: hehehe) I also LOVED when he first met the Foster's 4. He just casually walks in and everyone greets him, asks him if he wants to play video games, Bendy breaks a vase, runs away, and blames it on them. xD It was kind of random. But thats just my opinion of course.

moonpony 03-27-2007 08:52 AM

All the reasons to love Bendy and his episode have already been listed here. I could probably hear Frankie whine, "I'm punk rock" a million times and never stop laughing. And Bendy is TOTALLY Seussian in his appearance. Who doesn't love Dr. Suess?? His innocent voice was great, too. :sadbendy:

Mr. Marshmallow 04-06-2007 08:55 AM

I just watched Bendy's episode last night on Comcast (on demand is SUCH a great feature ) but I was watching Bendy and I couldn't help but wonder who would create such an imaginary friend like him.

I don't think Gregory (the kid who had him originally) is the creator, something tells me Bendy has done this before he ever met that family. I also got to wonder WHY Bendy does this, because he really seems to have no point.

Wally did pranks for laughs, Lincoln was power hungry, and Berry went nuts because of her obsession for Bloo. But no matter how many times I watch Bendy act like a prick, I can't for the life of me figure out why he's doing this.

Even mean or rude people have somewhat of a reason for doing this, and I can't see why Bendy does this. It's obviously a flawed lifestyle, he keeps getting kicked out of houses for it, this is really boggling me.

Voxxyn 04-06-2007 10:28 AM

The "going and being kicked out from house to house" thing reminds me a lot of Problem Child... :slybendy:

Bendy looks like a Dr. Suess character. :bendy: I'm curious as to why he was named "Bendy" exactly.

Ub3rD4n 04-28-2007 08:39 PM

I think Bendy was made as an act of rebellion. I mean, it may have just been me, but from Bendy's kid's parents I got a strong sense of overdisiplinarianism. Wow, that's a long word. Anyhow, his kid wants to break stuff and make things miserable for others, but is too chicken to do it himself, in my opinion. Since Bendy didn't get kicked out of the house (remember the Fosters code) or even exposed properly for his framings, the possibility still exists for him to turn up again, making mischeif.

ptps 07-22-2007 11:19 AM

BENDY NEEDS TO DIE. :scaryberry: He was even worse than Berry, lol. There was just no justification to any of the characters in that episode; I was really hoping Bloo would nail it - and he ALMOST did - but arrrrrrgh. Bendy is such a whiny, simpering, annoying little.... urgh.

cartman414 07-29-2007 11:09 AM

Yeah. I didn't like Bendy either. While other friends like Cheese cause trouble on a more random basis, Bendy was totally sneaky and mean, I personally felt, with no real comedically redeeming qualities. Plus I don't like it when characters in general get an undeserved raw deal at the end of an episode. (Another example of this was Frankie in "Impostor's Home for Um... Make 'Em Up Pals".)

So i'm NOT the only one who thought he looked like a Dr. Seuss character 8D

I think a lot of people see the resemblance. I still want him to get another episode. That psychotic Berry got a second ep, why shouldn't Bendy? :bendy:

BabyCharmander 11-17-2007 02:14 PM

I liked Bendy, too. I don't know WHY, though. Normally I HATE jerkface characters like that that just act like jerks for no reason and have no instances where they act NICE, but then... for some reason I like Bendy. Oo

Part of it, I know, is his character design. The first time me and my sister saw that ep, we both said that he looked like a Dr. Seuss character. (Not my younger-older brother, though; he said that Bendy looked like something out of a Ren n' Stimpy cartoon. oO) Seriously though, the guy looks like he walked out of a Dr. Seuss book.

His expressions are great, too. At the beginning of the ep, you feel really really bad for him when his kid's walking away and he has those puppy eyes. :sadbendy: Then there's his grin, which is awesome looking. XD :bendy:

Something about his voice, too. His really-obviously-fake crying is hilarious. XD

...well, I guess I just answered my own question, huh, mur?

A second episode would be nice. At least a cameo in another ep, anyway.

Shelltoon 11-22-2007 11:25 PM

Bendy had a cameo in the Imagination Invaders game, I think he should get another episode along with Red, and Ivan. Hmm... an episode full of one-shot characters. That would be interesting.

Cassini90125 11-23-2007 08:22 AM

It could be, depending on which characters are involved. Definitely Bendy and Red, though. :bendy: ;D

Chocolate Milk 11-23-2007 08:37 AM

I liek th way he does bad tihngs and they tihnk bloo did it. lol
