(Uh, if anyone can think of a word meaning "occasion" that begins with an M, please tell me. And I know that "commemoration" a) doesn't begin with an M, and b) kind of makes it sound like someone died, but I thought it slotted in there quite well.)

Would memorialization do? I don't know, it also seems to have slightly macabre connotations. :P

I got that and responded to it, and my deepest apologies for not responding to this thread earlier. I was out of town at an anime convention called Anime Central/ACEN. It's a 3 day con and I just got back today from it.

Thank you all so very, very much for all your birthday wishes. I forgot how nice it is to have your birthday listed on a forum and having so many people care about it. Thanks again so much, as the McDonalds commercial would say:
