Summer 2007 Plans (Winter for those in the Southern half).

So, we're now approaching the month of May. Summer (or winter for those in the Southern Hemisphere) is near. Got anything planned? What will you be doing?

I will be heading to California again at some point around the summer. I will be at a convention, and I will once again try to seek employment out there (would love to do this in one visit, but we'll see). I'll likely just be working the rest of the summer.

Moving to the world's largest volcano to sell souveniers. I'm hoping it's the most exciting thing ever. But how could it not be. Yellowstone National Park is renowned for its beauty and adventure.

I hope to do some camping out there, and figure out a way to get to a theatre every once in awhile.

Come mid-July, I'll be heading to the place, up there, with the...maple syrup (I figured that the old adage needed a herbivorous variation). Of course, too much maple syrup indulgence is going to make me sick to my stomach - what other (plant-based) foods is Canada famous for?

This will be the first major holiday I've taken since starting University, so I'm looking forward to it. And Canada is such an awesome country. I've been there once before, though sadly I had to cut my last trip a little short. I have much higher hopes for this one.

I can't really say I have any special plans for summer, other than buying a new air conditioner to make it bearable.

On May 23 I'm going to Magic Kingdom on a feild trip. Nothing else though, man I wish I could go to SW celebration IV!:(

uh, lets see...

hang out with the Russian chicks who come over for summer jobs, hunt, fish, hike, hang out with the Russian chicks who come over for summer jobs, work, camp, buy guns, shoot guns, hang out with the Russian chicks who come over for summer jobs.

Yep. My summer's pretty much packed!

Visit Chicago, Paris And London in June, and July. Design Skyscrapers In Paper, and Go buy Windows Vista.

Wowsers, LaBloo, how are you going to tackle that worldwide trip? I've always wanted to be a Globetrotter, both of the basketball and traveling variety.

Rule Britannia!

My summer plan is very simple: I will arrive back in England from China in mid-July, at which point I will kiss the very earth upon which I stand, go home, lock myself in my room and never leave Blighty again. :D

Don't get me wrong, China's been a good experience for me, but ten months away from the homeland has been far too long; you never know what you're going to miss until you actually go away from it, and it doesn't that I've been mostly based in a pretty drab industrial port that really doesn't cater at all to my own recreational tastes. :( As such, my summer will be spent overdosing on all the things I've been largely deprived of this year; videogames, cheese, cinema outings, pizza, cheese, crusty white bread, legitimate DVDs, cheese, cake, eBay, shopping malls that sell items other than bras, cake, cheesecake, and cheese. :bloocross: I almost feel guilty, because my mum was discussing with me about all of these potential holiday destinations she thought up for this summer, and whilst they're all lovely, I can't think of anything I want less than another trip abroad this year...I have some serious re-naturalising to do. :D

Well we'll be glad to have you back, Ditchy but you're gonna be dissappointed, this place is getting worse. I like the sound of shopping malls that sell nothing but bras, it makes me think of Father Ted.

As for me I'm working like a dog for the forseeable future, paying the real cost of reckless foreign adventures too.

Imaginary Light 05-03-2007 12:29 PM

For the most part I'll be working, getting ready for college, hanging out with friends, and oh yeah...going to see Evanescence and Flyleaf at the Family Values tour!

xxxClaire 05-28-2007 05:53 PM

Well, first, I'm up at camp. Then I'll come back home and try my best to get out to California for the Comic Con. Then I'm touring Europe!

Oh, that's a tough one.

So far, I'm thinking of visiting some of my known relatives, hope to have fun at Six Flags Marine World or Santa Cruz, and watch some of the anticipated movies that are coming out in theaters.

Well, that's all I have.

LaBloo 05-30-2007 05:09 PM

More plans. I'll love to see the Carribean Beaches and go to many landmarks, too. But that may happen.

Partymember 06-13-2007 09:50 AM

well, as of 2:55 yesterday Summer started. Unfortunatley i have to learn all the Math we were supposed to be taught by this Thursday for the final, and i have 3 major art projects due Friday.

Screw that.
