:macwor: Release girly insults and comments, I'm prepared.

Seriously, I got into the show after watching an episode called "L for Loser" and I was hooked. It's no where near as god awful or cheesy as Martin Mystery or Totally Spies.

And I find the main characters not only to be cute, but also very likeable and I can't stop watching it now.

Wow, really old thread bumped. :D Are there two threads about favorite shows? I'm sure I replied to one already. Hmm, I may be thinking of somewhere else again. :P Ah well, I'm happy to contribute-
  • Friends
I have the whole series on DVD, and LOVE it! Ok, actually the first season is on VHS, but whatever
  • Roswell
Also have the whole series on DVD. Majandra Delfino is soooo funny. And Jason Behr is drool worthy.
  • Ghost Hunters
I've said it before. I just love shows about the real paranormal, without it being all dramatic, and only trying to scare the viewers. This show really has my respect.
  • Malcolm in the Middle
I love those boys, cute when they were little, still hilarious when they grow up.
  • Frasier
    Frasier+Niles+Daphne+Roz+Eddie+Starbucks Coffee= The "true" Seattle! 8D
  • Home Improvement
    An oldie but goodie
  • That 70s Show
    So I got hooked...
  • Scrubs
    Who doesn't love it?
  • Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Another oldie but goodie, still funny as ever and full of '90s pop culture
  • Phil of the Future
What can I say, I find it amusing
  • Masterpiece Theatre
I love the classics, and theatrical art. And Regency/Victorian/Edwardian times

    And now for cartoons
  • Arthur
Other than Disney, my first favorite cartoon
  • Word Girl
Has anyone else seen this yet? It's fairly new, and I really like it, it's witty
  • Maya and Miguel
Candi's part of this one, and I just love cartoons about kids in the 9-11 age range
  • Camp Lazlo
Senseless sure, but entertaining and I love Lazlo's optimism
  • Chowder
I think I've already said many times why I like this
  • The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
I love Grim, and Mandy cracks me up.
  • Family Guy
Not my typical cartoon, but I'm in the fandom, sure.
  • Pepper Ann
Does anyone else remember this? I absolutely LOVED this cartoon! I don't have ToonDisney, and even if I did, it's rarely aired anymore
  • Sabrina; The Animated Series
Aired more often then Pepper is, but I still rarely see it anymore. It brings me back to a better place/time. Such memories...

And of course my most favorite right now is a given... ;)

I hear you; I love Star Trek, too. :bloocross:

(Sits back, relaxes, waits for incoming brick...)

Lynnie 07-02-2008 08:25 PM

Are we referring to the same show? 8D

Well, as I grew up with Star Trek and was and still am a bit of a "Trekkie", that brick certainly isn't coming from me.

I believe this is the only thread about TV shows in general. There's a favorite anime thread, and maybe a favorite cartoons thread, etc. *shrug*

I can say that I wish there was more discussion and less just writing of lists, which technically qualifies this as a spam thread, though...

You're entirely right. I've edited my previous post to include why I like these shows. Let's hope the trend keeps going from there. :)

some guy you dont know 07-04-2008 08:22 PM

scrubs, which i always laugh at regardless, except that one time with ben, which kinda made me sad.

also family matters, home improvement, full house, and all those other kinda shows on nick at nite. the fact i find those funnier than some MOST of the shows on nick and disney shows im getting older, wether or not i wanna admit it.

death note and code geass, i love the mastermind thats also kinda, if not completely, a bad guy.

Spoiler Below
Although i was kinda dissapointed last week when light made the mistake of more or less telling near that he was kira, not considering that he could have lived (which he probably does.)

gargoyles, which my brother got me into is always fun to watch, espicially xanatos.

i also watch the colbert report too, which is possibly my favorite show at the moment. (not including animated shows)

a bunch of animes too (digimon, one piece, FMA, 60's astro boy, etc. etc.)

and some other adult swim shows (boondocks, mission hill, oblongs, etc. etc.) which just make me LOL for a few hours straight.

OH, and adventures of sonic the hedgehog. between urkel, "thats no good", scratch and grounder, its possibly the funniest show i ever watched as a 5-year old.

WOW THIS LIST IS LONG HUH?

No bricks from WAKG17-- Star Trek rules.

Well, lessee... recently, I fell in love with Transformers: Animated, which is definitely something I wouldn't have gotten into on my own. A friend mentioned that in one episode, Autobot Jazz sounded a lot like Wilt (I've gotten her into Foster's, hee hee) and she suggested I watch it. I did, and I loved it. Good call, Elizabeth! :D (And for the record, Jazz DOES sound like Wilt. Kinda makes sense, 'cos Phil LaMarr is the voice actor.)

Other than that, it's my usual blend of Foster's / Trek / M*A*S*H / Emergency! and other shows I can't recall for the life of me...
