"A Lost Claus" is back!

Yup. First airing this holiday season is this Saturday (11/25) at noon ET/PT.8-)

Be there or check with cartoonnetwork.com of any online service (tvguide.com, zap2it.com, etc.) for future airdates.

Carlaz 11-23-2006 02:54 PM

Woo Hoo! Thanks BN! :bloogrin

Invader Bloo 11-23-2006 09:51 PM

I can't wait, I only saw this one once.

Sparky 11-23-2006 10:00 PM

Is this an actual episode discussion thread or just an announcement that this episode is going to air? If it's not an episode discussion thread it doesnt belong in the Episode Discussion section of the forum. That list Bloonuggets posted this morning of what episodes were going to air in the Foster's Marathon today didn't belong here either, that's why it was moved. (Actually I merged it with Thornwhistle's thread about the marathon, which was in the correct section.)

This section is for actually discussing the content of the individual episodes/shorts, etc.

Voxxyn 11-23-2006 10:03 PM

Well, you could turn this into a discussion thread for "A Lost Claus" with the topic creator's consent.

"C" the Dragon 11-24-2006 11:44 AM

I saw it last year. It was okay. Not enough Wilt, though.:(

jokerbloo 11-24-2006 11:52 AM

i never saw it at all so im looking foward to it:D

Partymember 12-06-2006 05:06 PM

Tributes to the Charlie Brown Christmas Special everywhere!!!!! If you notice, as Mac is walking to Fosters dejectedly, we see Snoopy's gaudy "commercialized" doghouse. LOL!!!

bloonuggets 12-06-2006 05:44 PM

Now why'd you think I gave it a 10.0 on tv.com?

bloonuggets 11-24-2007 12:32 AM

The episode is back as of yesterday (11/23) at 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, and will be repeated through December!

:wiltshock: Sorry about double posting, is that okay? :wiltshock:

Cassini90125 11-24-2007 12:49 AM

It's been 11.5 months; I'm willing to overlook it. 8D

I'm pretty neutral on this episode. I didn't get much out of it but it wasn't bad, either.

Lynnie 11-24-2007 03:42 PM

I saw this yesterday and was so happy to see it again! Although I think I've seen it twice since last Christmas while doing my own marathons with my recordings. But it has a more "seasonal" feel to it now that the season is officially starting.

I just love Ed kissing everyone. He kisses Mac and Mac's hair is sticking strait up. Then he kisses Bloo on the rooftop and the drool frosts up all over Bloo's face, lol! The "three ghosts" scene in Herriman's bedroom is classic. I love the Ghost of a Christmas Present, and when Herriman asks "A Christmas Present?", Bloo answers in a whimsical sing-song voice "Thaaat's whaaat I saaaaid... What are yooooou, deeeaaf?" 8D And Mac is absolutely adorible in the entire episode. I just want to hug him. :) I also love the look on Frankie's face at the end when Mac is running around excited that Santa does in fact exist. Her eyes get real big, and she gives a huge smile (can't think of any other ep where she smiles that big) as if to say "So it is true!!" Gotta love that smile! I also like Madame F. in this eppie because she's sweet and caring, and isn't too crazy.

There's still very few things that have ever made me laugh out loud like "the Ghost of BOB Marley", complete with dreads, mon!

bloonuggets 12-02-2007 07:51 AM

And just in case you didn't know, "A Lost Clause" is now available on your digital cable On Demand. But only until after the first of the new year 2008.

For the record, it's "A Lost Claus." No "e" at the end.

"Merry Kissmas!"

Oh Eduardo. You're just lucky you didn't get tagged as the Tinky-Winky of the new millennium there. :weirded:

Sorry. :( Is that okay?

bloonuggets 12-08-2008 04:07 AM

I have permission from Sparky to bump the thread as an annual reminder for the times and dates:
  • December 15th @ 8:30 PM ET/PT;
  • December 21 @ 11 AM ET/PT;
  • Christmas Eve (December 24) @ 4 PM and 9:30 PM;
  • Christmas Day (December 25) @ 9 AM
And also where available ON DEMAND on your digital cable services.

lucyrocks73 12-08-2008 06:02 PM

Watched Charlie Brown and this back to back on On Demand w/my brother and laughed hysterically. I forgot how much I liked this.

We did A Christmas Carol for the fall play (I was Mrs. Cratchit), and yes, I kept messing up and saying "Bob Marley" instead of "Jacob Marley" every time I tried to explain something.

(*sigh*)

I love the music for this one. I wish I could find the sheet music for it...

Hah! That's hilarious! 8D Sounds like something I'd do, too, though. Still, Bob Marley is really awesome, so that's all the better for me. ;)

Can't wait to watch this one again. I really love it because it just feels like a classic Christmas episode...

That sounds like something that would go into the "You Know You've Watched WAY TOO MUCH Foster's" threads! I'll add that into the thread there and give you credit.

Why, thank you, thank you very much.

Lynnie 12-15-2008 07:52 PM

I'm watching it right now for the first time this season. :) Oh, how I love and miss it! I just love how Herriman freaks out at "Bob Marley" jumping onto his bed, I was doubled over in laughter. Doesn't matter that I've seen it a kajillion times before. I just love that part. 8D

As am I. :)

I favor the Ghost of a Christmas Present. 8D

WiltsAKGirl17 12-24-2008 10:39 PM

I watched this with my parents today, as part of my reward for shoveling the bloody heck out of our driveway. I missed the first couple of minutes, but it was worth it.

Of course, I enjoyed it, but I was pleased that my parents seemed to take a mild interest in it as well. I'm pretty sure they caught the Charlie Brown Christmas reference, but the best part was when they laughed at the Bob Marley thing-- it just worked and gave me a little satisfaction that my parents could enjoy one of my shows with me. :)

CrazyPhil 12-25-2008 01:48 AM

Managed to record it with my Tivo. I really love this episode, one of my favorites. I too laugh every time I see "Bob Marley", mon! 8D

antgirl1 12-25-2008 08:20 AM

"I was your business partner....BOB MARLEY!" 8D

My goodness, how I missed this show...:D

Another Castle 12-17-2009 09:42 AM

BUMP!

About time now- I've just watched it today- it is brilliant!

Perhaps the loveliest episode of Fosters ever, I think I'll put this on my top 10 list.

I especially liked the slow piano version of the Fosters theme, it sounded very sophisticated.

I just want to hug Mac sometimes. And Bloo got coal!
One question I have- Mr Herriman threw out all the decorations and presants in the middle of the night- how did they get back?

Good news: The special is available via On Demand on your local digital cable system until who knows when...

bloonuggets 07-17-2010 11:54 AM

BUMP!

"A Lost Claus" will air next Sunday (7/25) as part of CN's "Christmas in July" marathon at 11:30 AM ET/PT.

That truly is a Christmas miracle!

iceberg210 07-21-2010 05:03 PM

Wait? Foster's on CN? I can't believe it! That's just shocking. Unfortunately I'll be running around comic con as it's shown, but then again that's a trade I'm willing to take...

At any rate I'm really happy to see Foster's back, if only for a fleeting second. Hopefully there will be more to come...

AmberMist84 07-28-2010 11:30 PM

Yeah! I recorded it on my DVR and its still there!

One Radical Dude 12-20-2011 12:30 PM

Okay, folks, this is for the US viewers only. A Lost Claus will air three different times (if you have both East and West feeds, you get six). Today, it's airing at 4:30 PM ET/PT, and Saturday and Sunday AM at 9:30 AM ET/PT. Check your listings.

taranchula 12-20-2011 06:28 PM

I knew there was a Christmas special I forgot to watch this year (I obviously can't watch on TV, but I've still got it saved on my hard drive), I've pretty much seen everything else this year and I am still saving my two all time favorites (Christmas Vacation and Die Hard) for Christmas Eve. So this will keep my holiday spirits in the red as we head into the home stretch.
