I'd love to see that fanart. :herriman: And as to what Bloo spilt, it was lemonade. He must have started his lemonade stand again. Probably to raise money to fix up the foyer after that paintball tournament. :-[

The second was a little creepy. Mac would come to Foster's in the middle of the night and try to make Bloo come back home with him, in a obsessive manner D: I don't remember the details, but it was Berry-like behaviour. Mac wore a red beanie. Bloo wore a PINK scarf. 8D And I remember a specific dialogue

Bloo: "Mac... if you keep this up, I'm gonna get thrown out."
Mac: "THAT'S RIGHT! =D THEN WE CAN BUNK TOGETHER!"
Bloo: "...riiight."
LOL! The beanie and scarf remind me of the cartoon Pepper Ann (man, I miss that cartoon!). Mac sounds like a bigger maniac than Bloo. And he's not on a sugar rush? That would have been fun to see... 8D

I wish I could have another Foster's dream...

This was kind of odd. It's a Forum dream, not an actual Foster's dream.

This morning I dreamed that I logged onto the Forum and found one new post:

Quote:

Do we really need all these music threads? I know it's Spam, but still. I'm just saying.

Mods please close.
It's unusual in that I remember exactly who posted it, someone I don't really know, and the thread was locked after that one post; I don't know by who but I assumed it was one of two possibilities. I don't usually remember things I read in dreams, either. At that point I woke up, got a drink and went back to sleep. Surprisingly, the dream continued. A half-hour had passed (in dream time) and I logged in again. To my surprise, one of the other staff had unlocked the thread, posted a very vocal agreement, and relocked it. I said to myself, "Well, if (Name) can unlock a thread just to add his/her two cents, so can I", and I was thinking it over but then I woke up and stayed awake this time.

Lots of ways to interpret this, I suppose, but "Dude, you spend way too much time here, go play outside once in awhile" tops the list at the moment. :bloocross:

For the record I don't think we really have "all these music threads", although I do regard the "What song are you listening to right now?" thread as pointless, which is why I stopped posting in it a long time ago.

I'd just chalk that one up to dedication to the forums. You're even moderating in your sleep!

I finally had another Foster's related dream last night, yay! Well, it was sort of Foster's related. I drempt that I was back in school, and my whole school was taking a week long field trip to an old abandoned run down dormitory. We had to walk there, and on the way we had to cross a river. A lot of the younger kids were swimming and having a grand ol' time, but my friends said it was cooler to cross like an army man, holding our luggage above our head. But I didn't care what they said so I just dove in. We reached the abandoned dormitory and it was cool because it was like it had been abandoned in a hurry, the beds still had linens on them, there were still personal items in the rooms (I particularly remember some dolls and clothes), and it was so fun just rummaging through everything and wondering what you'll find. Equally as fun was exploring the hallways and the rooms. There were like three different floors, too. So we spent the night there, and I claimed a room to myself. I was among the first to wake up the next morning, and started searching for a girl's restroom where I could shower. I found one, and in preparing my shower supplies, I heard boy's voices at the doorway. I ducked behind a counter of some sort and watched the door, and Mac and Jimmy (from "Out of Jimmy's Head") came in. They were casually talking to each other, and I guess either didn't realize they had just entered a girl's bathroom, or thought that since it's abandoned it didn't matter that they came in (even though our whole school was there... eh, it was just a dream). Jimmy saw me, and I ducked out of sight entirely, but he came closer. I knew they'd see me eventually, so I jumped up and yelled "Boo!" Mac jumped, lol! I didn't want to embarrass the boys by telling them that they were in the girl's restroom, much less that I was about to take a shower. So I pretended I was just rummaging through all the stuff in the bathroom, and cleaning it up a bit. They started including me in their casual conversation, and started helping me clean the bathroom. And there was some more, but this was the only part that was Foster's related. The rest doesn't make much sense anyway. 8D

Man, these dreams are kinda odd... But it's not like I dreaming about Cheese or anything. That'd freak me out. :wiltshock:

Well, it's official. I had a dream with Cheese in it. :cheese: (Dear Lord help me, I'm losin' my sanity.)

I was working at this bakery thing in my town (there is no bakery in my town, FYI), but it was set up like the SubWay in which I work. I was standing at the place where you generally order stuff at a SubWay. I was looking out the window and I could see Cheese heading toward the side door. (In reality, this "side door" opens into the arctic entryway that houses the SubWay bathroom and is also the arctic entryway for the insurance company next door.) I'd run to the door, open it and yell, "CHEESE! GO AWAY!" (a la "The Big Cheese") and he'd run away. This happened several times.

It also worked until I got distracted and was staring out the window. I didn't know what was happening until I saw the top of Cheese's head darting toward the side door. By the time I was ready to react, he was inside the door. I started yelling and marching toward him, ready to throw him out.

Naturally (I can get pretty scary when I'm mad), he screamed and got scared. He turned around to run away, but turned right into the door as it was swinging shut. (In reality, the door doesn't swing shut; it's really heavy and slams.) The door knocks Cheese out completely-- he falls backwards and his eyes have turned into little red X's, kinda like he's dead, but like I said, he's knocked out. I go over and pick him up by the head, and am holding him an arm's length away and trying to figure out what to do when I woke up.

When I woke up, I seriously went, "What the heck?" :terrconf: And no, I didn't eat anything weird or take any drugs, prescription or otherwise, before bed.

Don't feel bad-both of the Foster's dreams I've had featured Cheese prominantly, though I don't know why. One I was actually in, and I actually VOLUNTEERED to babysit Cheese for a weekend(which aggravated Wilt, to whom I was apparently married, to no end), AND I went fishing. If you knew how I felt about fishing OR babysitting, even my own relatives, you'd understand just how "whack" that dream was! Long story short, Cheese wound up making everyone down at the riverside mad because he kept yelling, "Here fishy, fishy fishy" and scaring away all the fish, so no one got a bite, and then he tried to eat one of my friend's(a friend who lives in Louisiana, by the way, not in South Carolina)shiny artificial lures and got the fishhook stuck in his lip, resulting in Wilt and I having to carry him to the emergency room, with him screaming and yelling his head off and Wilt blaming ME for having agreed to keep him in the first place(interestingly enough, this dream was before "The Big Cheese", when it became obvious that even Wilt is sick of Cheese). They had to knock him out with Fentanyl or something at the ER to remove the fishhook, and the last part of the dream I remember was getting the cold shoulder from my "significant other" back at home as Cheese slept off the effects of the drugs, since the whole ruined weekend was all my fault. The other dream was more like a tv episode, more like I was watching it on tv, and it involved Cheese bringing a rotting dead possum carcass, saying, "I found a DOGGIE", into the house(it was one of those "cartoonish" dead critters, with little "x's" for eyes, not really gory or bloody-looking, but still dripping with maggots and buzzing with flies), while Wilt and Frankie were house-cleaning, and the two of them trying to cope with it and decide which one was going to remove it after Cheese departs, leaving the very-flat ex-possum in the middle of the foyer floor. Wilt, it seems, has a phobia of maggots and the smell of decomp, and totally freaks out when he loses a game of "rock, paper, scissors" to determine who gets rid of the possum, and in the dream, I just knew it had something to do with the condition he wound up in after having his arm crushed. In the end, Sloppy Moe(the stinky dude who looks like a walking pile of you-know-what and always has a Bandaid on his arm) winds up finding it and taking it out, complaining about how some people just don't care about valuable things and would waste a perfectly good dead possum, though I'm not really sure what HE did with it. At the end of the dream, the group is together for something-dinner, maybe, and they hear Cheese come in saying, "I found a HORSIE", and Wilt and Frankie suddenly jump up and bolt from the room, having remembered the "doggie" that Cheese found, and not wanting to find out what the "horsie" was!

Those sounded like a riot WiltsAK and PBL! I have yet to have a dream with Cheese in it, or even any reference to Cheese, but it's interesting how even in our dreams he's all wired up. I wonder if anyone's had a dream about him being normal and sophisticated. :cheese:

I recall that second dream. Man, that's weird.

Now, regarding the first dream:

You lucky thing, you get to be married to him? (no need to clarify who "him" is here...) That makes my dream of slowdancing with him in my Grandma's living room seem really super Lame-O. Moving on...

You VOLUNTEERED to BABYSIT CHEESE?! That's just weird...

Oh, and somehow the arctic entryway door at work got fixed so it's not ungodly heavy and slams everytime it shuts now. I don't know what that has to do with anything, but maybe this dream fixed that? Perhaps when the heavy door in my dream knocked Cheese unconcsious, it caused some serious problems (try not bust a gut laughing) and that'd be all my fault, so the door is light and doesn't slam now.

Or maybe I'm hyper because I had a Haagen-Dahz Dulce de Leche ice cream bar and I'm sleepy because it's quarter till midnight Alaska time and the only reason I'm still awake is because I'm watching the M*A*S*H mail call marathon.

Oh, yeah, as an aside to Lynnie: We're just dreaming Cheese in character. Can anyone imagine what a normal, sophisticated Cheese would be like? *shudders* :-X :o

Yeah, but in my dream, it wasn't the romantic, lovey-dovey sort of relationship, not at that instant, anyway, that most Wilt fangirls fantasize about, but more like a couple that have been together for a long time, and have pretty much settled into a "routine", so to speak. Not that there was no love, but it was more like the sort of relationship that most long-term couples have. It was more like the sort of thing where we could finish each others' sentences. Somehow, it started off with us at Foster's, apparently for a visit, and Cheese was there, since he'd apparently been given up by Louise, and he was causing all sorts of trouble at the house(no surprise there, huh?), and everyone was at their wit's end with him, so I piped up and volunteered to keep him for the weekend, to take the load off Frankie and the rest. I can recall Wilt taking me aside and trying to tell me that it was a big mistake, and me sounding all smug and confident that I could deal with Cheese, and him finally giving up and telling me I was on my own with this, and the next thing I know, we're back in South Carolina(a whole continent away, no less), and I get a phone call from my friend Christine(who lives in Tennessee)telling me that she and our mutual friends Chester and Johnny(father and son, respectively, who both live in southwestern Louisiana)want to go fishing down at nearby Lynches River, and I was just so excited! That makes absolutely no sense, since MY opinion of fishing, and Bloo's opinion of fishing in "Camp Keep a Good Mac Down", are pretty much one and the same! It also didn't make sense that these people who don't even live in the same state would just be there and want to go fishing, like it was an everyday thing just to pop over a few states to drop a cane pole in the water. OK, Chester and Johnny SO would do that; being Cajuns, they are die-hard fishermen and hunters who actually DO look at any body of water bigger than a foot tub and automatically access it for fishing/crawfish/alligator risk potential, but still...they're in Louisiana. I don't even remember anything specific that Wilt said while we were at the river, though I do recall Johnny(who'd brought the artificial lure in this elaborately-stocked tackle box) saying something about how Cheese was scaring away all the fish, and there were other random people there saying the same thing. I do remember that after we got back from the ER, and put the still-drugged-out Cheese to bed in this cot in the living room(and I do not have such a cot), and went to bed ourselves, Wilt just had his back to me and wouldn't say anything other than to remind me that he'd tried to tell me, but I wouldn't listen, so apparently it was now HIS turn not to listen. It was like I could feel his presence on the other side of the bed, but it wasn't a comforting presence, but a definate "cold shoulder". That feeling was more pronounced than anything he said or did throughout, but so was that feeling that we'd been together for so long. Being that I'm not fond of fishing AT ALL, and I am not a big fan of Cheese, and I will avoid babysitting duties at all costs(since my actual job often entails little more than babysitting, since that's how most parents see us teachers, anyway, and I often get stuck keeping other teachers' classes without any lesson plans when they fail to show up for work or get called into a meeting), it's really odd that I would have volunteered to do both!

I've been waking up in the middle of the night a lot recently due to my insane kitten and some craptacular sickness. xX And when I wake up in the middle of the night, I usually end up in a half-asleep half-awake state... It's kinda' hard to explain. I'm aware that I'm lying on my bed and in my room, but at the same time my dreams are still playing out and I'm still in the dream while being in my room at the same time. ...That probably makes no sense. Mur well. %D;

Anyway, at one point when that happened a week or so ago I was awake for a short time (maybe about half an hour, forty-five minutes?) and I had a half-dream of the Foster's gang running around looking for something. Unfortunately I don't remember much else, other than hugging Eduardo at one point. He was soft and fluffy. %B Though in reality I was probably just hugging my Charmander plushie and a mass of blankets. XD

Then there was last night. Oh boy... I only got about two hours of sleep due to my kitten terrorizing my other cats and the fact that I could hardly breathe. My throat was really really swollen and my nose was all stuffy and I felt pretty bad in general, so yeah, not a lot of sleep. I was in a half-awake half-asleep state for most of the time, though, and ended up having a Foster's-related half-dream.

For some reason I was at Foster's foyer, sitting around and shivering due to my sickness. I could hardly breathe (in my dream as well as in reality) and was starting to panic that I was going to choke or something. Wilt was around and was about to help me, when a Mary Sue stepped out of a bad-fic (quite literally; I mean, I actually saw an FFN page and the Mary Sue stepped out of it XD) and ended up distracting him.

Of course I was all, "S:LDJFL:SDJL:JSD WHAT HELP ME PLZ BEFORE I DIE" and finally when Wilt managed to get away from the Mary Sue, ANOTHER one stepped out of a bad-fic to distract him. This happened TWICE before I finally snapped out of my half-asleep state due to hearing one of my cats freaking out.

...Odd how while that night was a looooong, not-so-fun one, I'm already looking back on it and laughing. XD

Well, you were warned... Sorry-- felt like I had to go there for a second. Although I have to admit that I do have a bit of trouble picturing Wilt giving someone he cares about-- and considering the way I've read this dream and based on what you've said, it seems like Wilt DID care deeply about you in this dream.

I can sympathize with you feeling that teaching is kinda like babysitting-- my stepmom is a high school English teacher and my dad runs in-school suspension.

Man, a MarySue stepping out of a poorly written fanfic. Wow... Interesting.

HOMG, I had a horrible one. :wiltshock:

I dreamt I was watching the first ep of season 6, and in it we find out where Terrence has been all this time. He's been staying with his dad, and when he comes back, he's...okay he's like this major D&D geek. And I don't mean a regular D&D geek - *I* was a D&D geek. No I mean one of those deranged ones you see on TV, like Todd from Codemonkeys. You know, talking like he's in a bad Tolkein novel rip-off and wearing weird clothes? And he was hanging out with a unicorn IF who was the same way. Oh my god, it was the worst thing ever. I was so glad after I woke up and realised that hadn't actually happened. WTH is wrong with me?? :o I guess I'm just in Terrence withdrawal and I just need to see him again so I can know he's okay and in the meantime my imagination is coming up with negative scenerios. :P

That would make one AWESOME episode, though! Everyone would be so weirded-out by Terrence acting like the guy I dated in college, who was JUST like you described, lol! It would be even funnier if Terrence had chosen to be this passive monk-type character, since you know that Bloo and probably Mac are gonna take advantage of that, and Terrence would have to struggle not to "revert" back to his old self! I don't think that the D&D geek thing would last long under those circumstances.

I had another dream about a week ago. I dreamed I was at work and wanted to take my lunch break at a certain time because that's when a radio program was coming on that featured Frankie. So I clocked out, went to the break room with an old fashioned radio (like from the 40s), and listened to the program while I ate my lunch. Unfortunately I don't remember what the program was about, but it was one of those dramatized stories (also kind of from the 40s), and Frankie did the voice of one of the characters. Not Grey, Frankie. So Frankie was a voice actress. I kept listening, my lunch period was coming to an and, but I kept telling myself "Just a little longer (time goes by) It won't matter if I'm a little late..... (more time goes by) Will anyone really notice how late I am?" 8D And that was about it.

And, heh heh, for the record, although tempted, I always return from lunch on time. ;)

I had another GWH-related dream. It was this AD where the movie was coming out on DVD (now having deleted scenes, a Wilt commentary, Spanish/French audio tracks and possibly more). At the end, it showed Wilt on the left side of the screen, stubby arm holding the DVD case (which remains unchanged) and on the tip of his finger of his right arm, spinning the DVD itself. Then on the right side of the screen showed the close up of the DVD (which is the same as the one Wilt's holding) Wilt's grinning with his teeth, as usual. :D

Too bad it was a dream. Maybe someday that dream'll come true. =P

Dude, I should totally draw that.

Ignate 01-11-2008 08:01 PM

I had a dream about 2 days ago.
Bloo came up to Mac, Frankie, Ed and Wilt. He said "Fomalhaut" (is that how it's spelled?). After that, everyone freaked out, and ran into the house. They searched everything in the house to find something. Then Mac remembered where it was, and ran to Coco, who was sleeping. Next to her was a bag (which looked a lot like my school bag). Mac grabbed the bag and started running, dodging the others who want the bag. Then he ran to the balcony, and held out the bag in the air. Frankie came up behind him and said "Do it! Do it!" Then Mac dropped the bag on a cat. The cat bounced around, but was unhurt.

For some reason I felt that I've had that dream before, but it was only my first time dreaming it.

I don't know if anyone's said this already, but if you start dreaming about other forum members, that may be a sign you're losing it, right? Well, if that's the case, someone put me in a nice padded room-- this happened to me a few days ago.

I dreamed that I was in South Carolina, only the landscape was more like Arizona-- the plants were kinda scrubby and the dirt was very red, just like in Arizona and Utah. Apparently, I was there with my stepmom, on top of this. At some point (don't know where my stepmom was), I ran into-- y'all may want to sit down-- pitbulllady.

Bear with me. So pitbulllady and I are walking along, having this nice little conversation (don't remember about what, though), and she offered to drive me and my stepmom somewhere. Oh, and I bought a $50 Wilt plushie from her. (I know, $50 is a little steep, but I guess it was a pretty high-quality plushie.)

I woke up thinking three things:
1.) Why am I dreaming about pitbulllady?
2.) Have other people put dreams about other forums members on the boards, or will me being the first be in bad taste?
3.) Man, I want a Wilt plushie...
* Recalls that I'm going on a day trip to Anchorage, where there are real stores, on the first of February * Ooh... I wonder if there are Wilt plushies there...?

Am I losing it? (P.S. Brief aside to pitbulllady: I'm sorry if this is a rather personal question, but is your hair dishwater blonde? That's what my brain conjured up.)

Lynnie 01-24-2008 10:24 PM

Heh, that's weird. And nope, you're not the first to have a "forum member" dream. There are a number of them in this thread. There's another thread specifically about "forum dreams" here somewhere too, I think.

I haven't had a dream about the forum yet. But about a week ago I had a dream with Cassini's Bendy Sim in it. I was at a friend's house, and for some very strange odd reason, the Bendy Sim was there. As I was trying to talk to my friend, he kept getting in my face and annoying the living daylights out of me. :slybendy: 8D

Cassini90125 01-24-2008 10:25 PM

Oh, believe me, you are far from the first. My dreams have had occasional guest appearances by Forum members as well, including Fomalhaut, CG, and xxxClaire. The one with xxxClaire was particularly interesting because it happened before she sent me a pic to make a Sim of her from; she looked quite different in the dream. I've had a couple of dreams about being online and watching the Forum, too.

Maybe I spend too much time here. 8D

8D 8D Not my fault! 8D 8D

I've dreamed about my Frankie Sim a few times and a couple of the non-Foster's Sims too, but none of the other character's Sims as yet.

WiltsAKGirl17 02-04-2008 12:17 PM

* Sheepishly raises hand * Have another one. No one from the forums, though. ;)

Once again, it's a smaller part of a much bigger dream. I don't remember the context this scene was in-- or much of the scene itself, since I had this dream about a week ago. All I really remember is me being with Wilt and he was wearing one of those little paper hospital gowns and in a wheelchair. I was pushing his wheelchair around for him. I think my brain is telling me to start re-working on a fanfic I have involving relatively similar circumstances...

Weird how I just now noticed this post!

If you'd visited South Carolina back during the past summer, you would have found your description of our state in your dream wasn't TOO far off the mark! We're still in a severe drought, though we have had some rain in recent weeks, but this summer was horrible. It's really sad to see farmers plowing under their failed crops, knowing that this is how these people make a living and feed themselves. It was nearly as dry as the desert Southwest, I can tell you, though the real hot weather didn't hit us until August. We had nights in July down in the low '50's, which is absurd.

I don't think you'll find a Wilt plushie in any store, unfortunately. I've got the one that Sparky made for me, which is nearly life-sized, and it's worth WAY more than $50.00, I can tell you-NOT that I would EVER consider selling him! He's pretty much priceless, as far as I'm concerned! The lack of Wilt merchandise, especially considering his popularity, is really sad. If you go by fan-made stuff-fan art, fanfiction, that sort of thing-Wilt and Frankie are arguably the two most popular characters on the show, yet they're the ones given the least attention by the folks who make and sell official Foster's merchandise.

And no, my hair's not blonde, and never has been. I've always been a red-head, a classic example of Celtic bloodlines if ever there was one-red hair, fair skin, freckles, green eyes-the whole nine yards, lol!

I know why you missed the post-- you were distracted by your school's block on the site! ;)

In all honesty, I haven't even set FOOT in South Carolina-- the closest I've come is your northern neighbor, North Carolina. (Duh. ::))-- so I'm surprised that I was relatively close. I find the temperatures being in 50s to be something I'd like up here-- it's insanely cold right now. (Althought the drought is terrible, don't get me wrong. Hopefully it'll get better * Knock on wood *)

I've gone on an online hunt for a Wilt plushie-- nothing. :'( :( I think I saw some pictures of the plushie Sparky made on DA (very nice, by the way!), and I figure it's worth MUCH more than $50, too. The one in my dream was rather small-- about a foot tall. I've often complained long and hard about the distinct lack of Wilt merchandise, not to mention the HT Shirt Fiasco! Wilt does seem to be the most popular focus in fanart I've seen, so the lack of merchandise is horrible. C'mon, give him some merchandise for cryin' out loud!!!!

Huh, wonder where I pulled dishwater blonde from if you're not? Well, here's hoping the next post I put out there won't be from a nice padded room! :weirded:

Man, I went on smiley OVERLOAD in this post...

At least you're not dreaming about the dang things. Last night I dreamed that I got a PM from one of you; the entire message consisted of two smilies:

:( :'(

Not a happy message but no indication as to why the sender was unhappy. My response also consisted of nothing but smilies:

:terrconf: ???

A moment later I woke up. Weird dream, but at least it was short. :bloocross:

Well, I said something kinda similar about being grateful I wasn't dreaming about Cheese, and POOF! He was in my next dream.

This dream is kinda weird, only in the fact that I'm not that sad right now. Hmm... maybe it's a sign? (Sure hope not!)

I just realized-- the smilies in your dream were the EXACT same ones I used in my last post here about the distinct lack of Wilt plushies, only backwards! ( *points to previous post* ^) Maybe that's it!

Hate to tell you this, but the PM I got in the dream wasn't from you; it was from "one of you", meaning someone on the Forum. It was in fact from someone else. On the bright side, at least I'm not dreaming that you're going to be unhappy.

WiltsAKGirl17 02-10-2008 07:25 PM

Oopsies. :-[ I must have missed the "one of" part. Sorry. I got all excited for nothin'...

Ub3rD4n 02-11-2008 12:02 AM

This may be in a way the weirdest one here, but last night I dreamt that Craig McCracken moved in down the street! Apparently he moved to New Zealand to escape "the pressures of celebrity" or so he told me. He even let me hang around, but it was clear he wasn't too happy bout it. I may have seen Lauren Faust for a second, too.

Weird, huh? I would have to blame his new Deviantart page for this. Unless I have a hidden talent of infiltrating people's dreams! Which would probably be annoying to everyone else.:craig:

Cassini90125 02-11-2008 06:56 AM

Looking over this thread, it's interesting how it's become more about Forum dreams over time; dreams about posting, other members, the Con, etc. Kind of says something about how much a part of our lives Never Forgotten has become and what it means to us. :)

Cassini90125 02-17-2008 08:39 AM

I hate posting back-to-back. :P

I had one early this morning. The dream took place in a park several blocks from my place. There wasn't much to it, just me and Frankie sitting atop a picnic table, watching Mac and Bloo playing. They were building something with sticks and branches lying around the area but I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. Mac looked like a regular kid, Bloo looked like Bloo, but in 3D. There was little else going on, just a few other people here and there, not really doing anything. Frankie and I weren't doing anything either, just sharing a companionable silence, enjoying each other's company. Late in the dream Mac and Bloo's construction project started to take on a triangular shape, kind of like a short cone or a pyramid, and then I felt Frankie's hand on mine. I turned to look at her and she's smiling at me. So much warmth in that smile. She spoke to me at that point; all she said was, "Thank you." I smiled back and asked her, "For what?" I never did find out, as I woke up a moment later.

Even without an answer, I'm feeling pretty good right now. I guess you already know that, though. Heck of a way to start the morning. :-*

jekylljuice 02-18-2008 07:27 AM

That sounds really beautiful, Cass. Sadly, I very rarely experience that kind of tranquility in my own dreams. I have some pretty fun and interesting ones every now and then, but a depressingly large amount of them are about being lost, confused or doomed to failure. I really need to figure out how to lucid dream, some time. Then maybe I can turn things in my favour.

So far, I haven't really had any dreams that were overwhelmingly Foster's related, but characters have made cameo appearances here and there. The first one of any real significance involved Wilt, Ed and Coco from back when I'd first started watching the show. From what I recall, they seemed to be indulging in some strange kind of substance abuse, though I never got close enough to find out exactly what.

Probably the nicest one was when I dreamed about watching a new Foster's episode in which Kip made his grand return. This time, he had himself a pretty little girlfriend, and they seemed very happy together.

Subzeroace 02-24-2008 11:22 AM

I had a dream last night that Craig and Lauren were in town for a convention and they stayed at my home for the week. When they were about to leave I asked them to draw me something, and I guess they didn't know I was a Foster's fan because they drew me random pictures of alien monsters o.O

Mulch 03-06-2008 06:35 AM

I had a Foster's nightmare last night. No kidding.
So, it goes like this: I was watching the new episode, but it wasn't in the future, it was on the internet before it aired for some reason. Anyway, it started off normally enough, set on Valentine's Day or something. And everyone was wearing costumes. For absolutely no reason. As strange as that was, it was nothing compared to the rest...
Mac went into some sort of cave with water and then suddenly all the IFs were deformed in nasty ways. They were all whining in pain and Mac turned into a bouncing fish skeleton, for whatever reason. :P And then it just kept on going like that for about ten minutes without getting resolved, and the episode was over. And then an end credit gag (even in a dream it was squashed a bit for commercials at the bottom) came on, and it was the bouncing fish skeleton with the theme song in the background.

(In case anyone wants to know what I ate last night: Pizza and a bowl of candy.)

Howard 03-06-2008 06:43 AM

I finally had a Foster's dream - or in indirect Foster's dream. I was back in the navy and an E-5 (I got out an E-6, and took the test for E-7). Craig visited our squadron spaces (have no idea why), and I never had a chance to catch up with him, until he left his sketchbook in the squadron briefing room. I caught him outside our hangar and gave the sketchbook back to him. I guess he thanked me, because I woke up after that...

One Radical Dude 03-11-2008 11:48 AM

My recent dream wasn't too pleasant for Foster's fans. It was me asking Craig at Comic-Con if we're going to see any new DVD releases. He responded by telling me that there won't be any more future releases. I then asked "what about sending messages to Warner Bros?". Some random person basically said to forget about it; they won't listen. Ick! :P

Lynnie 03-11-2008 08:38 PM

Hmm, many of our dreams are a portrayal of our worst fears come to life. Hopefully that's all it is- a dream. I sure hope it doesn't turn into reality. :macwor: I'm sure it won't though. It's got to have a 3rd season DVD, it's just GOT to. It may come along later than we'd like, but it'll come. It HAS to, it just does! Well, here's waiting for the Upfront press conference at the beginning of April. Only a few weeks away. We might find out then.
