I don't think it's necessarily shallow to have physical beauty as a desired trait in your dream person. Shallowness would be thinking that all "hot" girls are goddesses and all "unattractive" girls are worthless.

And I guess I'll just keep quiet from the whole "soulmate" discussion, because I've never been in any real relationship, and thus am not qualified. I'm fairly sure that time will come for me... but to be honest, there are currently more important things in my life(both priorities and personal stuff) than having a girlfriend.

I believe it, and I've continued to believe it from the day I discovered love.

Not finding the right person yet simply means that's not the person meant for you. I believe in fate to an extent and that there is someone who is linked to us somewhere on this Earth, the future is limitless with possibilities and it's not right to just shoot down that possibility due to bad luck.

Frankie didn't find the right guy in Dylan, and neither did Berry with Bloo or Mac with Goo, but that doesn't mean they won't someday. Wise person once said: "We are not meant to be alone in this world". Time is everything, maybe sooner maybe later, but I believe our hearts are always tied to someone else's.

It's just a matter of finding the string, and how long it takes you follow it to the end. Forgive my sappyness but I believe every damn word of it.

My cousin James Jr. died awhile back without finding anyone special. I have known several other people who also passed on alone. It will happen to other people in the future. What does your belief say about that? I'm sorry, but reality simply doesn't work that way. You play the hand you're dealt and hope it's a winning hand, but whether it's cards or life, not everybody wins.

Sorry for your loss, Cassini.

There are lots of pretty girls around me, but by and large they are materialistic and shallow, i feel no desire or love for them at all. Their values are so far from mine they really don't appeal to me. I've got nobody, and i'm actually very depressed about that. I'm not bad looking, maybe a 6 or 7, but until the right girl comes along i'll be alone. You probably know that most all of the guys in school these days are chauvinists, which is quite off-putting seeing as i'm a "nice guy" and the women flock to the jerks. Not that I like these women, mind you, its just the principle of the thing that bothers me.

BTW: I met a wonderful "Frankie" not too long ago, her personality and physical appearance are mind-blowing, and she's single...now i just need to get up the courage to ask her out...

I'm sorry to hear that, Cassini. I'm sorry if I stired up some painful memories. And I can see you're point.

No apology necessary; it was way back in February, and I was just citing a personal example.

That's always bothered the hell out of me ever since high school. I've always been one of the nice guys; I'm supportive, compassionate, helpful when asked, usually gentle but a raging bull when necessary, never abusive, and I don't cheat (dang, that sounds familiar :( ), yet so often it's the jackasses with the opposite traits that have someone to care about. It really makes me sad, sometimes to the point of tears. :'(

Edit - Guys, I just reread the last several posts, and it seems we've gotten completely off-topic. If anyone wants to start a new thread about all this angst in the "Way Off Topic" section, be my guest. In the meantime, anyone want to talk about Frankie?

Yeah, you're right, so...

Frankie is such a great character! She is actually the reason i really got hooked on the show, i was so impressed with the level of character development and the jokes that are funny to everybody aged 6 to 60.

Not me Cass, I am like Mary Poppins - "perfect in every way!"

I will talk about Frankie from sun up to sun down; There is still alot we do not know about her - but there is enough to get a couple of hours worth of our beloved redhead in!

Before I forget, I stitched this together from two screencaps:

I've always liked full-length shots. I haven't tried to do this with the LBD because none of the screencaps match up very well for the large amount of splicing that would be involved. Of course, if we keep talking about it, maybe CN will take the hint...

I too like full shots Cass. Nice job - she looks cute!

You never cease to amaze me, Cassini! Great pic!:D
