Terminator: The Sara Conner Chronicles. Another fine episode has come and gone. I hope the writers strike doesn't cause this show to sink despite the success it's enjoying.

A couple of episodes of the Morph Files, a mid-nineties series featuring one of Aardman Animations' earliest and most enduring plasticine creations. The crucial difference between this and earlier venues in which our hero appeared is that instead of Tony Hart, Morph and his buddy Chaz were accompanied here by Neil Morrissey, or more appropriately his vocal chords, and that Morph, like much of us around this time, was beginning to embrace the rising age of digital technology, seeking much of his guidance from a colourful computer with some pretty lovely graphics. But, as with every Morph series, it's really good fun.

World's Ugliest Dog Competition
Frankly, some of the contestants aren't all that hideous: they're just wonky, but still seem like nice, well-behaved dogs. However, even though they may be well-trained, others are well...ugly. Real ugly. Still, these inconsistencies did not deter me from watching: There's a certain allure to knowing, exactly, the ugliest dog in America, and it's really amusing, to boot. Take that, Westiminster Dog Show! (No offense) |
Six Feet Under: "Everyone's Waiting"
Five minutes before it ended, I was thinking "It's really no big deal, don't know why I've heard so much about it..." Fifteen minutes after it ended, I'm still shaking and crying. Greatest series finale in television history. |
Transformers Animated: Along Came a Spider. A great episode with a slew of twists and surprises, definitely one of the best yet.:D

Law and Order: Illegal
I timer taped it from last week and while the Terminator show has been letting me down episode by episode, the new L&O has been doing the exact opposite. Each new episode has been blowing me away and this one blew my, my head, and my freaking mind away. I found this to be an excellent episode. Even though he is not as active as he used to be. Sam Waterston (Jack Mcoy) continues to remind me why I love him so much as an actor and a character. He was phenomenal in this episode and if I wasn't Law and Order addicted before, I sure as Hell am now with these new episodes. |
I don't know if this counts, but I'm watching a History Channel special called Life After People. The whole show focuses on what would happen to Earth if humans were to just disappear. We're currently on "25 Years After People."
It's quite fascinating. Eventually, the planet will completely take back what humans had-- roads disappear, buildings crumble, lights completely go out, wild animals move back into the cities and pets will revert to their primal instincts... It's a very interesting look at what the world would be like, and how we may think we're all-powerful, but eventually, we'll POOF! disappear and the world will go on like we weren't even there. It really makes you think. |
yeah, but we're a pretty persistent bunch. Survived supervolcanos, ice ages, etc.
I plan on being around for the next 50 or so years anyway :P |
