nah, because its been going on forever, and i think if someone was doing that, they'd break in or something by now. i think its some kind of way for punishing me for something i musta done. man i hate karma.

pirates>ninjas. i dont hate ninjas, but i dont really like em either.

Jabberwocky 01-28-2007 01:07 AM

Pirates are cooler, look at Halloween Jack, or Sir Crocodile. Salt tee hee.

some guy you dont know 01-28-2007 01:10 AM

true

ok, i dont really get annoyed by this, but it still confuses me. i saw on the internet, the power rangers(which btw if you dont know is based on a show from japan) and it was dubbed in japanese. so it was a japanese show, changed into english, then dubbed to japanese again? wont the little kiddies recongize the same spandex outfits?

Voxxyn 01-28-2007 06:56 AM

I'm not anti-social in the sense that I hate people in general, but simply because I don't seem to really fit in with mainstream Puerto Rican teenage youth. They're mega extroverted and would probably spontaneously combust if they had to spend more than five minutes alone and without a cellphone.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to be more sociable, have my own close group of real-life friends and be able to get out more often. But I REFUSE to participate in any kind of deceitful social game or to mindlessly conform and compromise myself to the masses. Sadly, at least from my school experiences, I know that the only way to "fit in" with my peers is to resort to such things.

Maybe one of the newer seasons was made in America, so they decided to dub them in Japanese?

That's all I can think of. xD;;

What could you possibly have done to earn bad karma?

no, what i saw was the first season of MMPR, which was definetly from japan

scary_dream 01-28-2007 11:34 AM

I hate going into Blockbuster because as of right now, they're playing an advertisement for a Polly Pocket movie and it has this song... OH this song is looped in Hell I believe. It's shriek-y, banshshee-ish lyrics sing "We're gonna rock this town... LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA AAAAAAA!" over and over and over and over again... Oh man it makes me want to kill something when I go in there.

SkittleMonkey 01-28-2007 11:55 AM

*painful hiss* Ooh, that hurts my ears just THINKING about it!

Another thing that ticks me off. Older brothers bringing over, like, a hundred of their buddies, and they end up eating you out of house and home!

Sparky 01-28-2007 04:42 PM

Lol, a Polly Pocket movie?? Well, it's to be expected I guess.

I forgot to mention my upstairs neighbors from hell. They dropped something so hard the other day they knocked some of our Zim figures over. :(

Nyo 01-28-2007 04:57 PM

This thread ticks me off! (Just Kidding)

But seriously, I hate it when dolls get their own movies. Barbie, MyScene, Polly Pocket, Bratz...AHHHHH! HEAD FOR THE HILLS!!

some guy you dont know 01-28-2007 04:59 PM

ok, so when im in a thread like this and i post, right after i post, i see another post beat me by about a second, so i have to edit my post. just happened twice in that thread in the last 2 minuites. always annoying

Nyo 01-28-2007 05:01 PM

I know how you feel; It's happened to me many times.

OMG I know. My brother brings a huge squad of fourteen-year-olds over every day tp guzzle down all the pop in the house. I started hiding the Dr. Pepper and putting Dr. Bob in the front of the fridge so they'll take that as bait. 8| Rotton little snots.

Still weird, but remember that for the American version they took bits and pieces from the original, filmed their own segments, slapped them together and created a unique story. [You probably already know this, but hey, just sayin.']

I realllly shouldn't even know that about power rangers.

some guy you dont know 01-28-2007 06:47 PM

really, the MMPR was just the japan show's fight scenes to the american story, characters, etc. that really didnt change till PR in space, and they still used some of the fight scenes i think.

neither should i, but then again power rangers was what i used instead of barney so, yeah.

rukift 01-28-2007 07:34 PM

So you're saying for the American version they did their own fight scenes eventually? if true, I had no idea, I thought they still just copied and pasted from the original for the whole time. Staying true to the topic title, that's something that ticks me off... when companies make a new show from an old one. Dubbing is cool, but that's just... eww.

Same here man, same here. I still catch glimpses of it between digimon.... why those two shows are still on tv is really beyond me.

Howard 01-29-2007 09:26 AM

Thoughtless people tick me off; especially when it comes to my property - here was the situation:

I was grocery shopping. As I approached my truck in the parking lot, I saw a lady park her Mercedes CLK next to my passenger side. when she opened her door - it hit my door (not enough to leave a mark), but I told her to be careful. She proceded to kick her door open and it hit my truck again - and it left a ding. She walked away like it was nothing. I put my groceries on the passenger side, and I reached for my huge flat tipped screwdriver in the door pocket. I ran that screwdriver from her driver door to the quarterpanel digging through the paint and penetrating metal. I did at least $3000 in damage. My Dad said don't get mad - get EVEN!:scaryberry:

Cassini90125 01-29-2007 09:29 AM

I hope no one saw you, but ALL RIGHT, DUDE!!! :bendy:

this happened 7 years ago, and I made sure nobody was looking.:bloogrin

Cassini90125 01-29-2007 09:34 AM

Obviously you didn't get caught, then, thank the stars. I really shouldn't say this, but sometimes it just feels so dang good to strike back. :bendy:

It was one of those situations where it was "forget the consequences" she really ticked me off!:frankiemad:

derangedperson 01-29-2007 10:33 AM

I'd have done the same thing. If someone's a jerk to you for no reason, I call for HOT-BLOODED REVENGE! :scaryberry:

Ace 01-29-2007 01:08 PM

Cold-blooded revenge is better. Goes well with filet mignon, actually.

Anywho, Ace is annoyed by the fact that his post count doesn't go up every time. What's up with that, eh? Does someone need a good torching? *Brandishes flamethrower*

Depends on *where* you're posting. Posts made in the Spam section do not contribute to one's post count.

It's probably because post count doesn't change in the Spam forum. 8-)

Ace 01-29-2007 01:26 PM

Ah. Learn something new every day. Thank's for the information. Care for a cookie, either of you?

This thread is NOT in the Spam section, so you are required to stay on topic... *stern look*

Ace 01-29-2007 01:35 PM

My bad. I was just trying to be polite. The cookies weren't poisoned, I promise.

Something else that ticks me off...ah, I really hate people who automatically think something new or something they haven't learned about is bad and reject it off the bat.

Sparky 01-29-2007 01:45 PM

I have another one: "broken records". People who feel the need to state their opinion...and state it over and over again. The *same* opinion. We heard you the first time there, pal. -_-

Jabberwocky 01-29-2007 02:05 PM

I hate real broken records. MICE got to my copy of Queen's Jazz album that was in the garage for whatever reason. D:

no i think the only things that were not new for the US version were the fight scenes.

theryre still on because they are super special awsome :)

anyhoo, back on topic. im severly annoyed by how so many episode ideas are constantly re-used by every, EVERY, tv show out there. it annoys me so much i shall not even elaborate any much more on it

What if one day, that lady happened to come across the Never Forgotten forum and read your post?

That it is.

I hate it when people think books are for freaks, and those who read them for pleasure are weird. "OMG you read books?...What does 'accommodations' mean?" I also get ticked off when people think I can't do or won't like something just because of my gender. Why can't I be interested in philosophy? Why can't I read books about whatever subjects I please? Why can't I play whatever genres of video games I like?

I get like that sometimes, but to my credit, I use different words each time. Actually, most of them do that too, don't they? Darn.

Another thing that ticks me off: hiccups. I'm such a horrible Bloo fan, I know. But seriously, I've tried every trick in the book to get rid of hiccups and none of them work. As far as I know, hiccups will go away when they're good and ready.

Partymember 01-29-2007 05:30 PM

you know Duck, i hate it when rich people park on the line so noone parks next to them. I saw a dude with a Mustang with these stupid flames running up the side, taking up 2 spaces. I resisted the urge to huck a rock through a window :)

some guy you dont know 01-29-2007 06:39 PM

a good idea would be to try to move their car using your own car. that might help them get the idea.

oh wait, bad idea. too many legal probs. ok never mind then.

i dislike people who just contradict themselves nonstop. which would indeed include self.

Jabberwocky 01-30-2007 06:21 AM
