See what I mean? I've ruined it for you guys.
Terribly sorry Lauren. |

The real question is, why are the pictures up on that website if the information is not to be revealed? Who put it there? I'm thinking it wasn't you guys and that kinda bothers me that you're so upset about it. It's like that person who was selling the DVD on eBay. I will, however, refrain from commenting any further on the issue, whether spoiler or not, until after it airs. |
Spoilers don't help. The information is still there, free to be taken by guests and posted elsewhere.

Well the blame can't be put on any like me since that website is PUBLIC and anyone can see it. Spoilers are at least SOMETHING you can avoid reading if you want to. I feel bad for Lauren and Co. but at the same time I don't feel guilty for talking about it unless I did not use spoilers. One has the choice whether or not to read/look at something. Also I think PBL makes many good points...there is so much more to be seen and I haven't lost ANY interest in seeing the movie. |
Lauren, I'm sincerely sorry that had to happen. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't read any of these spoilers either. (Personally, I think having the entire beginning posted on CN.com is very generous as it is)
That guy on eBay with the leaked promotional materials is one thing. But for CARTOON NETWORK themselves to give away info that the Foster's creators didn't want? Is it any wonder why so many people think CN is going downhill, and why I don't feel any guilt whatsover about referring to the execs as the idiots and morons they are? |

I hope Lauren or Craig can go on that website and take those pictures down, may be for the best. |

Lauren, I'm sorry this had to happen. It did, and it shouldn't have. It's sad. It really is. :( :'( Don't worry, I haven't read any of this stuff, nor do I plan to.
|
IMO, Foster's is to CN what Pixar was to the Eisner-led Disney. You know what I'm talking about here.

I hate what happened, but we had no reason to assume that if CN put the pictures up, that the show's crew was not in favor of them doing that. It's really CN's and Turner's fault, if anyone is to blame, but as I said, it really still leaves many questions yet-unanswered, and I for one would never have figured out at which point that scene takes place in the movie. It certainly does nothing to diminish MY desire to see the movie, over and over, and I'm probably speaking for most of the fans. A real fan is going to watch it no matter how much information they gather via spoilers. I could read the entire script, word for word, and I promise I will still be like, Superglued to my tv Thanksgiving evening!
And yeah, I can totally see Voxxyn's point comparing CN and their treatment of Foster's to the Eisner-era Disney's treatment of John Lasseter and his people. pitbulllady |
(Off-topic according to PBL) Speaking of unanswered, when would the sneak peek for Edo no Rebasu be answered? All I hafta do is pray.
I kinda favor Ed hugging his creator. It's so sweet. Anyway, I hope that no spoilers will come in the future until after "GWH" premieres. |

Ok....I was gone for school for like 7 HOURS, and this is what happened when I was gone.
To be honest, I don't find ANYTHING that has to do with this...unless people are kind enough to let me see the whatever-it-was, I will be forced to be clueless. =P Unless, of course, the picture was removed, then I would understand. And D'OH! My theory "Wilt's creator is a girl" has gone down the drain. Unless...the pic was a LIE! O.O;; |
I highly doubt it was a lie, antgirl1. Sorry. Wilt's creator is aparantly a lil' boy.
And the picture has been removed. |
Hey I just saw the ad again (it's probably the 2nd one), and didn't....
that basketball-head dude look like a character straight out of Yellow Submarine?? I mean the way he moved and everything! LOL It was SO sixties! Which is kinda ironic (or maybe not) because I believe Craig said Wilt was created in the 70s! Well maybe this basketball-head IF was a sixties-born IF, who knows! Ha! I just found that funny and weird. |
I can't belive what I've just missed while I was doing homework!!:wiltshock: I thought it was Mac's mom!!!! Oh, well...:( It was a pretty cool theory, though. But still, I do wonder who *is* Mac's mom's IF? Eh, don't spoil it if you know.

I think that rumor started on Wikipedia. I'd love to see her IF, but considering the source I don't think it'll happen.

Thanks everyone. I didn't want anyone to feel guilty, I just didn't want word to spread out of control.
CN went ahead and took the photo down. It looks like it was an oversight. There are so many hundreds of people working at Turner, not everybody gets the information they need and I'm sure somebody just went "aaaw, that's a cute shot. Let's put that on the press site!" I don't think anybody went "Screw Craig and Lauren! We're puttng this up!" Except for this one mistake, the folks at CN have kept everything we asked them under wraps. Nothing in the commercials or the synopses. So I guess I was overreacting when I blamed CN. Thanks again you guys! -lauren:) |
Oh that's good, glad to know CN is treating Foster's with some respect.
|
Yeah, it's good to know that this has been delt with in a proper manner. I was about to get seriously ticked at CN for posting those pics with the spoilers, but it's good that they took them down and had some respect for you all and Foster's. :)
Usually I just try to stray far, far, FAR away from spoilers. Sometimes good and exciting things can come out of them but other times terrible things can come out of them, thus ruining huge plot twists or anything else that might have been meant to be kept under wraps. But to get back on topic, we've got a little more than a week until the premiere of the movie! I'm getting so excited! XD |
They started showing another ad this week.
|
Plus Foster's is mainly made for kids, so I don't think they'll ever include a gang, gang (The punks who like rap in praticular).

Oh my gosh! It has been so long since I've been gone (due to internet trouble). All this talk is really interesting.

On the old board, I made this post:
"126 days 3029 hours 181754 minutes 10905267 seconds ...is too long to wait!" Now it's only seven days away. How awesome is that?! |

We should do a count down for every day drawing closer to our "Christmas". I'll start.
7 days :). |

Man, is that a rough-looking crowd in the background or WHAT? They look more like the cast of "AHHHH! Real Monsters!" or Monsters, Inc than any of the Imaginary Friends we've seen so far! Anyone notice how much that little short guy(?) on the far right in the first pic looks like "Boo" in her monster costume? And Wilt is totally playing "hard ball" here, if "play" is the right word to use in this particular situation!
pitbulllady |
The shots, for the record, came from the end credits of whatever it was that preceeded tonight's rerun of "Hiccy Burp".
|
Well we've seen from 'Eddie Monster' just how monsterous some imaginaries can look. Especially if they were created by bullies, or 'jerky teenage boys'. And given the neighbourhood that it looks like, a lot of the local youths who would hang around those parts would make monsterous looking imaginaries.
