Hey guys, did you miss the moment before Mac freezes time in the end?
Bloo says: "As your sidekick I say DO IT!" I think that made up for him shutting the door from Mac. After insisting not being Mac's sidekick throught the whole episode I personally found the line quite sweet since it seemed to be such big of a deal for Bloo (as seen in other episodes too). It was a great episode overall. I didn't get much out of it the first time, but I just watched it the second time and found myself enjoying it. Bloo definitely has some hilarious moments there, and it was refreshing to see that Mac is, behind the intelligence and great sense of morals, just an 8-years-old kid. Watching him getting upset over Goo's attempts to win him and Bloo in the imaginary battle made my day. I have to admit, though, that at times the characters seemed a bit alien to me - minus Goo whose personality actually got much deeper. It would be cool to know who the writer is, and if this really was his/her first episode. If so, it would make a lot of sense. A B it is. This is not gonna be one of my favourites, but it was definitely a good episode. |

I totally agree about Mac. I always love to see him acting like a kid. And yeah, it feels like someone else wrote it -- strange and disjointed. I'll have to watch it again, since I wasn't paying terribly close attention the first time, but that's the impression I got. |
Muaha! I wonder if Goo kept the potato whale or if he's living at Foster's now too. xD Probably neither, because we weren't supposed to catch it, I guess. Really, check it out. In her room, when she wakes up and sees all the space nut boogies and whatnot, THERE'S A FOR SERIOUS POTATO WHALE! x3 I never would've noticed if I hadn't paused it when I was making Mom watch it and she had to go make dinner. I sat there for a sec, then burst out laughing and freaked her out. 8D
I have the craziest reputation for pausing movies at the weirdest moments...Haha. |

Kirk has surely done a lot of work. A model painter on E.T. and Star Wars, director of Muppets, actor/song writer on Star Trek, writer on Foster's... :bloogrin |

So he can be REAL STUBBORN, but EVENTUALLY, he'll get the point and give in sometimes. Okay, this makes me take that negative point off of Bloo. LOL YAY! Mac n Bloo forever.) Yeah the ep DOES seem "Disjointed", nice choice of word there. I think it was a little odd at times and a bit OOC, but that's happened in a few other eps. (Foster's Goes to Europe comes to mind) and well, I think we just have to expect that once in a while. Keeps things interesting, to say the least. Yay, Jii has made me feel better about that ep now. Thanks Jii! ;) |

The pleasure is all mine! I'm glad it doesn't bother you so much anymore. |
"I made pants pie"
One of the few crud jokes in the series, yet the funniest.:-/ |

Hey, are you guys forgetting "Okay, just pretend you don't know me, and the eclairs are ours!" xD That part is GREAT. I love when that kinda thing happens...When some caper or other is about to be pulled with little explaination and it gets interrupted, leaving you to wonder...
|
Me too! I DID forget about that! Not to mention, Bloo was dressed as a stereotypical mariachi band member, so that makes it even better trying to wonder what eclairs, Mac not knowing Bloo, and the mariachi getup involves 8D

I just seen this for the first time. Before reading 14 pages of other people's I'll express my worthless opinions.
This episode was great! I hope you all liked it as much as I did. Funnily enough I'd written a Goo/sci-fi fanfic months ago but it wernt a patch on this. Bloo was really good in it and it was great to see Goo totally needled by Mac out-imagining her. Eduardo had the best line though about 2/3 of the way through (we only get one ad break). It's nice to see Fosters stooping to that sort of thing. Hey they just said on the radio that many problems in the south pacific are caused by 'coups'. That made me stop. Er...it sounded like 'koos'. Never mind. Yeh. Good episode. A+ |
This was a good ep. I just managed to get to see it, since I didn't catch it about five times in a row, but it's a very good ep, and nice to see all that goes on. I didn't catch the HGTTG reference though, because i think in one of the movies they're actually in chairs ro soemthing and though i've reread the books recently I don't quite remeber the movies...

This is defintely my favest episode EVER. (so far at least...)
I was getting disappointed with the latest eps, so I kinda strayed a bit from the whole series for a few weeks...then I find *this* gem! IMHO there is nothing lacking in this ep, adding favourites like Frankie, Cheese, Madame Foster, Herriman, Terrence (or whoever) would just have been overkill. This ep was just silly enough to work just right; so many elements that all worked together to make a great episode. (naming them all and how/why they worked would take WAYYY to much space on here!) The part where Goo and Coco throw the sleeping gas bomb and exclaim what it does to make it work *so* much reminds me of when I used to play all sorts of imaginary games with my friends when I was Mac and Goo's age..and that is 20 years ago 8D The whole "Yarr!" thing Bloo is spouting during the power-out had me in tears and I *so* have to find a way to edit the video with just those parts for I know my fandom will be in sticthes...especially the "Pwned!" part! ;) Still, this one gets a 10 out of 10 from me... |
Frankie, Mr. Herriman and Madame Foster were probably still out forcing Lil' Lincoln and Moose to return the dirty money and retrieve the 2,000+ imaginary friends they sold in the previous episode.

I also find it odd that Mac and Goo are the only humans to appear, and they weren't any adults at all in this episode. It's still great episode to enjoy. It just needs more characters in this episode.

And it's important for THIS episode because the Snot Boogies kidnapped, chased, attacked, and tortured Mac and Bloo. That's alot of LOUD actions and physical movements to make without anyone upstairs hearing them or not. If they said Frankie and Herriman went to the super market or had to go out of town for some reason, then that's acceptable. But the fact is they didn't explain it at all, and it's also illogical that Frankie would leave the house unattended. There's still all the other imaginary friends in the house, this isn't like in "Squeeze the day" when everyone was gone for a specific reason except Bloo. |

That's because the point of the joke of "Infernal" and "Big Lablooski" involved them in areas NOT in the Foster's house. Both those episode took place in locations not evident in the foster's home, where this one did.
Bloo and the others snuck out, they explained that, they didn't bother saying where Frankie and Herriman was when all of this crap was going on. And believe me, if they were home they would have DEFINITELY heard all of that noise. |

This was not one of my favorite episodes. There were a lot of good moments, but I just could not get into this one.::)

Aside from the awesome concept around this ep, and the fact that Wilt was suckered into playing for the bad guys, I just gotta say this:
BEST.ENDING.EVER. Seriously, am I alone in thinking that the last split second of the episode was better than the ending of any Fosters episode? I just loved the chibi Eduardo! Ahem, gotta get a hold of myself, I'm talkin' like a GIRL. And I vowed when I joined this forum to represent the MEN. I'm not the only one out there, am I? As to the Bloo thing, I think it was mostly put in for humour, but it may have just been Bloo's cowardly gut reaction, rather than having any thought like that, cause, given enough time to think about it, I beleive Bloo would do ANYTHING to keep Mac alive. Which is kinda scary if you think that through to it's logical conclusion.::) And of course, i too love Goo as a character, she's so awesome and reminds me so much of myself as a child, only black and a girl. If anyone cares, I'm told I'm most like Wilt nowadays. |
I really enjoyed this episode, i'd definitly rank it as one of my faves. The actuall 'pretend games' reminded me so much on when I was young, and Goo reminded me on myself very much as I always loved to be a 'main' character in a pretend game and always wanted to be noticed etc. I really liked this episode! A 4 me!

What do you call that style of art in which the episode concluding still was drawn/illustrated, assuming it's influenced by one?
Anyways, incredibly cute ending. |

I usually have patience, and the new DVD season sets seem to be following quite briskly at the moment, but the new sets can't come just fast enough. I really want those ending credit scenes in easily accessible form, because Cartoon Network can't be counted on airing them. ETA: PS. Love the chibi Phoenix Wright avatar, taranchula. |
This episode is on CN Video right now, along with Cheese a-Go-Go, and Goo's music video. My WiFi connection is behaving tonight so I was actually able to watch them. Oh how I missed this episode! Oh how I missed the SHOW!! The theme song first started playing and I was suddenly happy, like all the dreads and burdens I've been carrying around all day/week are suddenly lifted off, and I'm suddenly calm and relaxed. It's amazing how this show does this to me. I should try to get more of a Foster's fix during this ridiculous dry spell we're being forced to take. :P
Anyway, I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet, this is one of my most favorite episodes, after FMD and STD. It's so creative and well done, and although Goo can be annoying at times, I really liked her in this episode. It really takes me back to how real everything was to me when I had imaginary friends, so it brings back a nostalgic type feeling I get only when I remember those days in detail like that. And I also noticed for the first time while watching it tonight that all the Space Nutboogies are wearing "flaming lava pants that can melt anything, even a freeze ray". 8D I don't know why I hadn't noticed that before, I thought it was interesting. |

I saw this episode last week. It was very creative and I loved how the villains and the powers of the characters were consistent with the what they had in the their power battle. I loved Bloo's quote when he and Mac stumped Goo. "YAR! That ye can't missy! Ye hath been owned!" 8D |
C. Meh/10
Not too keen with Goo. |
