I actually hope, now that I think about it, that they see Red getting adopted OR someone mentions that Red got adopted. I'd think he would.

I feel exactly the same way, but at the same time I fear kids wouldn't be drawn all that much to him, possibly even intimidated by his initial appearance and such. Which is sad, seeing as how undeniably sweet he is.
