Hey, don't mock sitting through series, I do that all the time. I spent the last 3 or 4 nights watching Sonic the hedgehog's SATam cartoon series on DVD. It is in my opinion, one of the 3 greatest, amazing, beautiful, and well written cartoon shows I have ever seen in my entire life.

It took them over freaking 10 years to finally release this show on DVD and it felt like an eternity for me. I have always loved this show and it's characters, I've been inspired by this cartoon from the first day I saw it, and it's thanks to the powerful emotions, storylines, and incredible characters that helped me get into fan fiction and become the writer I am today.

It also is what got me hooked on the Sonic the hedgehog comic books from Archie, which I've been a collector/subscriber of since May of 1993. By the way, in case anyone was wondering what I considered the other 2 "greatest, amazing, beautiful, and well written cartoon shows I have ever seen in my entire life", they would be Darkwing Duck and Beast Wars.

A close, close, CLOSE 3rd was Batman: the animated series.

Oh, one other thing... Due to a mistranslation, all of the subtitles refer to Queen Beryl as "Queen Berry". Now that's scary! :scaryberry:

It could be worse, I guess. I've seen some scary things done with the whole L's-versus-R's deal. They could have called her Queen Belly.

Heroes

This show is great. I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode, and I don't even have a chair. As a comic fan I should already know the twists and turns, but somehow they still surprise me.

I cannot wait for the dvd.

Same here, I just got done watching this and it is one phenominal show. I didn't expect this show to survive all of NBC's fall chopping block nor did i expect it to become as big and popular as it has become.

They keep making it interesting and they keep making it fresh, every time I get a handle on it they whip out something new and amazing to thrill me. Sylar is by far one of the coolest villains I've seen on TV, he's a great bad ass.

I second that emotion. He is the creepiest as well. This show has more twists than the endings of an M. Night Shamylan movie... but in a good way. Heroes = Love.
