Oh yeah on the "shut up kid!" thing, that happens to me all the time (I go to see a lot of kid's movies). And you know, it's not always kids. WTH do some people feel the need to point out the obvious?? That always annoys me so much.

There's also always that one person, usually a woman, who laughs astoundingly loudly whenever something mildly humorous happens...

Or the ladies who, when their kid starts crying, just takes them off to the side and stands there instead of leaving the theatre. I like to sit on the outside aisle in the last row of that bottom section with the walkway behind it, and during The Devil Wears Prada this lady decided to take her crying toddler down to *play* right behind my seat, because somehow that was okay.

Oh man Sparky, you have way more nerve than I do!! I'm glad I wasn't there... :terrence: Grrrr...

Another thing that gets to me is whenever flirty little M/F-mixed teenage groups go to horror movies. These usually contain the girly girls that say "LIKE OMG SO-AND-SO HOLD ME!!! AAAIIIIEEEEE!!!" and scream REALLY loud in scenes that AREN'T that scary, and then the guys who try to get the girls to scream by grabbing them and yelling "RAHH!!!" to scare the girls into their waiting arms. ::) Give me a break...

yeah, i'm not a fan of rapists either. Like most people, you know, not a popular group.

8D They're right up there with puppy killers and carnies with body odor. Not a popular group at ALL.

  • People who leave time on the microwave.
  • People that change the channels during commercials.
  • Spongebob Squarepants.
  • People that over pronounce words. (Like the "w" in sword)
  • That music in "Sonic The Hedgehog" when you are about to drown.
  • How people drive in Connecticut.
  • No one has come up with a good "priest and a rabbi" joke in ages.
  • People who are immediately on your case if you make a spelling error.

:terrence: YES!! My boyfriend ALWAYS changes channels during commercials and we always end up missing the first little bit of what we were watching. Patience is a virtue I wish he'd learn!! It's just commercials, they won't kill anyone.

And the Sonic "surface or die" music makes me so nervous that I don't even enjoy the water levels. I remember the chemical plant level in Sonic 2 that had the rising purple liquid that you had to escape. Pretty much if you fell too far while you were jumping, you were screwed. Ugh.
