Yeah, she truly is one of a kind. If she did see this thread, she would demand the creators for a Frankie movie! But that's just me!

InsaneFan 02-17-2007 07:37 AM

WOAH. No posts in this thread for TWO DAYS?? =O

Yeah, all the pics are awesome!! Um...Someone mind PMing me how to do that, exactly? *hopeful*

Crash-N-Cortex 02-17-2007 07:22 PM

I can't wait to see more of Frankie in the fifth season of Foster's. I hope that
Frankie would still appear in a lot of Foster's episodes in the next season, since Grey DeLesile would have to take care of her son.

Mr. Marshmallow 02-17-2007 08:04 PM

Here's a Frankie question I've been wondering about: Considering we all know how alot of people were upset over the fact that the episode description for "Emancipation" claimed that Frankie would take a much more active role in it.

Despite the fact that turned out to be less then true, I was wondering, does anyone have any idea what any of the new episodes are going to be called or about? Or any generalized idea of what some of the plots might be like?

I mean even if these plots also seem to have Frankie involved somehow and turn out to be misleading like with the prior episode mentioned, I was just wondering if we have any kind of idea if Frankie will make a much needed impact this season.

Partymember 02-17-2007 08:20 PM

i haven't heard. Besides dubious sources like Wiki, i don't think there's too much. See whats on the IMDB, might help a bit. The official blog would be the best bet, though.

Voxxyn 02-17-2007 09:45 PM

Two unnamed episodes have been confirmed for Season 5: one in which Bloo is stuck with Madame Foster in a fabric shop while everybody else is at the fair, and one that will have lots of singing and music. Both were confirmed at the Comic Con last year, and the latter was directly alluded to in the production blog. I already said this, but I'm crossing my fingers Frankie will be heavily involved in the latter, for obvious reasons

Aside from that, nothing is known so far. IMDb is potentially even less reliable than Wikipedia, because there is tons of false information that CAN'T be instantly removed. And the official blog hasn't been updated at all since last October.

Personally, I like to think that they're aware of our deep affection and devotion to Frankie, and are revising and altering the upcoming episodes to make Frankie more prominent and thus make us happy.

Medikor 02-18-2007 07:07 AM

If they really are making an episode that has a lot of singing in it then I'm sure Frankie will get a good scene or two at the least. Grey Delisle herself is a singer so I'm sure they would want her involved. Plus I'm sure that Frankie would have the best singing voice out of the cast.;)

Invader Bloo 02-18-2007 07:50 AM

I liked Frankie's singing in "EC", even with the nails in her mouth!
But, yeah I hope that episode has a Frankie in a main roll, it dosen't have to be the major (though, that would be awesome) but she HAS to be a main.

Medikor 02-19-2007 12:34 PM

I just noticed the other day that when Frankie is in her pink and black dresses that she takes on that "hourglass" shape in her waist. I'm not saying I dislike this, I just never really noticed this before.

Partymember 02-19-2007 02:32 PM

i think it was the clothing. The figure is always there, but the baggy clothing she usually sports isn't as flattering.

oh yeah i noticed that 8D

Actually, even in her form-fitting T-shirt and skirt she usually has basically no hips. It's only in her dresses that she has that shape. It's purdy.

Exactly! She dosant have that (for lack of a better word" "Barbie" waist in her casual get-up. But I'm sure it was just a little visual trick to help emphasize her beuty in those scenes. Not that she needs help to look good, though.;)

Partymember 02-20-2007 11:36 AM

tru dat

Howard 02-21-2007 05:57 AM

I am sorry, but I just cannot get over Frankie's figure in that black dress from FMD. I keep thinking of the Hollies "Long Cool Woman in Black Dress" when I see her in that episode.

Partymember 02-21-2007 08:39 AM

+1!!!

Oh yeah, great song!

The black dress was the clincher for any soon-to-be Frankie fans still on the fence, from what I heard.8D But she really did look lovely.

So what Frankie episode was better: Frankie My Dear or Setting A President.
I have to say Setting A President, it was a great Frankie episode, really the only besides...ugh you know what, that has Frankie in the main roll. In Big Cheese she was out-starred by Cheese so that one dosen't count. :-*

I disagree on both points. I think "Frankie my dear" was a much better Frankie episode, simply because this was a completely whole new view on Frankie, both as an individual and how her life exists outside of Foster's. No one had really seen the actual sex appeal/attraction to Frankie until this episode.

Sure Frankie fans have loved her for the longest time, but this episode was literally like a BIG eye opener for everyone, including Mac and Bloo. I also found this episode to be more entertaining, "Setting a president" is still a great episode but Orlando Bloo at that restaurant, VERY hard to top 8D.

I also wouldn't be so quick to discourage Frankie from "Big Cheese". Considering the few amount of episodes she gets to star in, I take everything she does into consideration and "Big cheese" was a big episode for her. Cheese could not have hold his own as star if not for Frankie being there.

Same goes for "Store Wars", Mac and Bloo and everyone were kind of the stars but again, Frankie was the glue that held everything together and she was the only one really helping the actual plot move along. She may not have been the "star" star, but she definitely was key to both those episodes.

That's exactly how I felt when I first saw that episode. I never thought that Craig and Lauren (the writer of the episode) would have the guts to flesh out Frankie in both her pink and black dresses!

Medikor 02-25-2007 02:12 PM

I think Store Wars and The Big Cheese are two of my favorites. The idea of makeing Cheese and Frankie play off each other was great! And I just love how Store Wars put Frankie in the center of things.
I love Frankie my Dear and Setting a Presadent, but that goes without saying. I think I'll have to say Stor Wars is my favorite. It was the first episode of Fosters I seen so that gives it a special place in my heart, but I also love it because I found Frankie so adorable in it. I could relate to the stress she was haveing and I just couldant stop laughing at her lines and gags.:D

Crash-N-Cortex 02-25-2007 06:08 PM

My favorite Frankie episodes are "Frankie My Dear" and "Setting A President". In "Frankie My Dear", I like Frankie and the way she was dressed with her new dresses. In "Setting A President", Frankie shows that she really cares about the imaginary friends and how they really feel. Both of these episodes show great use of Frankie.

Cassini90125 02-27-2007 08:07 AM

Hopefully we'll soon have a third episode as good as FMD and SAP. And a fourth and fifth.

We've talked a lot about Frankie's personality in this thread, which is great. She's gorgeous, no doubt about that at all, but looks can't completely compensate when one has a personality like that of Sweetums or Duchess or someone like that. Frankie, fortunately, is one of the nice ones. But how nice is she? Where is she on the shy/outgoing scale? Would she rather play chess or do something more active? Is there any way to quantify all this?

Sure there is, sort of. Behold:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...ersonality.jpg

This is Frankie's Personality Profile in my Sims 2 game. As you can see, I defined her as 63637; she's a little neater than average, a little more active, kind of a shy, serious woman, and she's a sweetheart. There's plenty of room for debate on this, of course, and I'd love to read everyone else's take on it. For the record, a score of 5 in any trait is dead center average, 4 and 6 show slight tendencies in on direction or the other, and the closer you get to 0 or 10 the more pronounced that particular trait will be. There's a catch, though; the game only gives you 25 points to distribute, and you have to use all of them. Ignore the Zodiac signs and the other stuff above the personality bars; all that is best saved for another discussion. So, how would the rest of you have distributed the 25 personality points? For that matter, how would you have defined Frankie's personality if there was no point total?

Howard 02-27-2007 09:10 AM

A very interesting anlysis Cass; A lot of it I agree with. The numbers are very close to what Frankie is. I wonder what the results would be like if she took one of those tests that measure (i.e.) INFJ. I forgot the name of the test.

Medikor 02-27-2007 11:27 AM

Personaly, Cassini, I think you nailed Frankie's personality pretty well with that chart. The only change I would make, if any, would probobly be that she is a little less shy. Granted we don't know just how outgoing she is since we don't get to see a lot of her personal life outside of the Fosters house, but she certanly didant seem camera shy in The Big Cheese. ;) But that's just me, and I still say that you got her traits down-pat. It's almost like you know her personaly (a dream to be sure).:D

It the game, one's Zodiac sign is determined by how the personality points are distributed, not by date of birth. In the show I think she'd be a Leo but I'm not 100% certain of that.

We do not speak of them in this thread. :P 8D

I'm sure everyone is familiar with this image:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...25/Classic.jpg

It's one of the earliest Frankie pics, and I consider it a classic. What I like most about it is that, with a fair amount of work, I was able to splice together several close-up shots of this pic to create a far larger image of very high quality. It isn't quite complete yet; it needs some cleaning up, some of the spots where the pics were joined need smoothing over, and the background has to be removed. Unfortunately, I won't be able to post this one anywhere because of it's size, and converting it to JPEG format won't help much. When complete, the image will be over 4500 pixes tall, which is about 5 feet and 10 inches. In other words, it's life-size.

Time to find a new printer.

Partymember 02-28-2007 04:05 PM

thats a great idea...

Medikor 02-28-2007 04:49 PM

I always loved that classic pic of Frankie, but I always wonderd why she had lipstick on. It must have just been a part of her designe that was nixed almost imediatly. But I find that that pic of Frankie speacks volumes of her character.:D
