Edit: AH, I just noticed something! Right after Edd says "This could house 73% of my gerbils!", you start to see something bronze in the screen, and whenever the view pans out, it looks like it's a trophy or statue of Wilt playing basketball... Maybe I'm just the last to notice this and thinking too much into it, but it DID spark my imagination.

What do you guys think? Foster's of course doesn't seem to have much of a basketball tournament going, so could it be something given to him outside the house, or even before he moved in?

I haven't noticed the trophy, so I will have to go back and watch it on YouTube again, IF it's still up, that is. Wilt drops a subtle hint that he DID once play basketball, seriously and competitively, though, in the pilot, and no longer can after losing his arm and eye, so it's possible that he was at one time some team's MVP, to the extent that a trophy was named after him!

Yeesh, just my opinion. I haven't seen the pilot in forever. So you can guess I forgot.

Umm, if its a fork M. Foster's got weird taste. And if its Wilt's arm... well maybe that explains why new friends arrive off every month and yet the house never gets full... :p

Yeah, I remember him making a reference to his possible competitive sports playing, but the only two things that I don't get are: 1) The trophy appears to have been made to look like him AFTER the injuries (I'm not absolutely 100% positive on this, though, because the quality of the video might have fuzzed it a little). Since he makes is relatively clear that he couldn't play professionally after his injuries occured, perhaps he might have won it in a tournament for people/IFs with handicaps? Of course, Wilt never treats his missing arm like a handicap, so maybe that's why he was so good at it and won a trophy of his likeness? and 2) if it IS of him with both arms and eyes and from a time whenever he played competitively, why would he be selling it? I know he probably has a lot of bad memories, so why would he sell something that is seemingly from a high point in his life? The only way I could see that happening is if it accidentally got put in there by someone who didn't talk to him that much and thought "He probably has hundreds of these."

The trophy could have been made in HONOR of Wilt, to give to some other athlete, perhaps someone who also had a physical handicap to overcome. It could also have been given to him for something else other than athletic achievement, in gratitude for something he'd done in the community, perhaps having something to do with him being "Friend Of The Month" so many times for rescuing abandoned IF's. Knowing Wilt, if Madame Foster asked him to donate anything for the sale, especially if the money were to benefit Foster's, he'd donate anything of any value he owned, without thinking twice about doing so.

It also suddenly occured to me what the object in the box that Wilt finds(which looks a bit like his arm)actually is-it's a BACK SCRATCHER! You probably have seen the ones made of wood that you can buy in some roadside novelty places, that look like a HUMAN arm and hand, right? I guess someone made one for Wilt, and he either put it away(like most people would do with such a lovely "gift")and forgot about it, or the person actually forgot to give it to him in the first place, and this was the first time he'd seen it.

Ah PBL, once again you make everything make sense! :D

Hah... the back scratcher thing cracks me up! Whenever I saw it, I thought "Who would need a giant red Wilt's hand-shaped fork?", so the back scratcher thing makes more sense anyhow.

Although I'll never forget when my friend bought a 3 ft. long wooden fork and spoon for 50 cents at a garage sale... lol 8D

That is a big fork.:)

I just watched the commercial.

1)Yes, there is a bronze/gold trophy/statue of Wilt in his current "broken" state playing basketball (and honestly I wouldn't worry too much about whether it was made because he trumped a handicaps-only basketball tournament; it's just a statue saying he won a match, duh. He's awesome with basketball anyway. :D )

2) The thing Wilt picks up at the end does really look more like a "prosthetic arm" than a fork, since it appears to have a "thumb" appendage. I'm looking at this from an animation standpoint and that Wilt picking up something that looks like an old arm of his is merely a sight-gag/cute joke and leaving it at that, lol. It was a nice, effective commercial.

I love the fact that the sales banner in the beginning reads "BLOO BROKE ALL THIS STUFF! EVERYTHING MUST GO!" XD

Ohhhhh....it's a fork. No, wait! A back scratcher. Now it makes sense. As for the trophy, they may have made a trophy to look like Wilt commemmorating an expert imaginary friend basketball player. Either way, I'm sure Wilt does have a hundred of these, and may have contributed it himself. He is a pretty giving person.
