guys FMD is on today at 7...can't remember if i mentioned it or not, but i think its worth mentioning again.

The REALLY great thing about Frankie being 'dressed up' is that she's beautiful and sexy without being a harlot or a warmth-less supermodel figure. Even when some of these could be easily considered blatant "fanservice", they don't feel needlessly sleazy, nor do their hurt her integrity. She's still 100% Frankie.

And I'm glad Cartoon Network is starting to give Frankie some PROPER recognition. Maybe they aren't so completely vile.

That only brings up the deathly question of: who'd she be marrying?

In a perfect world there would be a Frankie for every man. I was trying to think that maybe if her green dress from The Big Picture was modified little like makeing it white and replaceing her coffie with a bouqet ect. I would try this myself but I lack the programs and skill.

As long as CN keeps it up with the Frankie recognition, I will be a happy man (although my wife-to-be despises it)!

when Frankie gives Dylan the deathstare the song by Heart popped into my head.

"If looks could kill
Youd be lying on the floor
Youd be begging me please please
Baby dont hurt me no more
If looks could kill
Youd be reeling from the pain
And youd never lie again
If looks could kill"

I love Heart!

Well put. The thing that got me into her was her pink dress in 'FMD', but not until I saw her caring side when she kicked Dylan's ass! This shows that no matter how she looks, she really knows how to show who she really is inside!

frankie_fan 01-04-2007 05:41 PM

That's very true. She never tries to be what shes not. On a side not, I watched All Zapped Up the other day. I just loved that smug look Frankie had when Bloo couldant open the door.:D 8D

To sum it up - Frankie is a realistic and warm character!

Frankie Movie!

http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/sh...?t=733&page=12

Starting at post #115. I reckon this would be a great idea for a Frankie movie. Anyone?

Cassini90125 01-05-2007 09:19 PM

It would be an excellent idea. In truth it could work for a lot of the characters, but Frankie in particular, I think. We know very little about her past; this could make for a very moving story, which is exactly what I would want in a Frankie movie.

Medikor 01-06-2007 08:23 AM

I never watched It's a Wonderful Life but the movies formula would work for a Frankie movie or episode.:D

Invader Bloo 01-06-2007 08:28 AM

Yeah, Frankie gets mad & wishes she was never born. That would make a good episode!

Partymember 01-06-2007 10:26 AM

you guys really need to see "Its a Wonderful Life" if you haven't yet.

oh, and...WE WON!!! VOTE OFF COMPLETE!

Invader Bloo 01-06-2007 10:36 AM

Thanks to muwah! *blows kisses evrywhere lime Bloo in "Mac Daddy")...(Everyone throws junk at me)

Cassini90125 01-06-2007 12:11 PM

Okay guys, feast your eyes on this:

I was really happy with how this one turned out. It's a screencap of one of my favorite scenes from House Of Bloo's, with the Angel Nebula as the background. Nebula photo courtesy of NASA.

Medikor 01-06-2007 12:30 PM

Love it! It makes Frankie look even more like an angel. Wonderful work as always Cassini.:D

kageri 01-06-2007 01:50 PM

That's awesome, and come to think of it, I kinda miss those little strands of hair that used to be in front of her ears. Dunno why.

I miss them as well, I refuse to draw her without them XD

So someone else noticed that too.I don't know why that happened.

On the Awesome house party game they are visible in case anyone was interested.

Medikor 01-06-2007 05:02 PM

I haven't seen all the latest episodes so I wouldant know if those strands have been phased out of her designe all together or not. I honestly don't miss them but they are nice to see now and then.

Nice work! I'm surprised that you know how to erase the background that the screencap had before and paste it over the Nebula one. I thought I was the only one who could do that!

Voxxyn 01-06-2007 06:50 PM

She's even more beautiful under the stars.

Invader Bloo 01-06-2007 07:46 PM

That's great!

Partymember 01-06-2007 08:33 PM

that is absolutley gorgeous Cass, it really speaks to me. I dunno why but i always associate certain songs with emotions i have, and the beautiful synth piece from "All My Love" by Zeppelin popped into my head. You know the piece. Thats really great man, Frankies warm radiance is really universal.

Crash-N-Cortex 01-06-2007 08:35 PM

Frankie is one of my favorite characters in the show. I like how she helps out the friends. She so beautiful in every way.

Hey, I think N. Gin from the Crash Bandicoot games want to comment on her.

N. GIN: "Yes, Frankie is so pretty and so nice that you might want go out on a date with her.:) Oh, I'm not pretty.":(

Well, that was N. Gin always crazy for the ladies.

Howard 01-06-2007 11:08 PM

Cass - I gotta hand it to ya; that last pic was very awesome. I like the Angel Nebula for the background. Astronomy buff I assume...

Cassini90125 01-07-2007 12:41 AM

You assume correctly. :) The idea for the pic was one I've had in mind for awhile but never got around to doing for one reason or another. When I found the photo of the Angel nebula and saw the name, the connection in my mind with Frankie was instantaneous; work began immediately, and the pic was finished about four hours later. As I said, I'm really happy with this one.

frankie_fan 01-07-2007 02:08 AM

Like I said, I thought I was the only one who could remove the background of the screencap and paste it onto another background!

Cassini90125 01-07-2007 05:59 AM

How do you think I created those two "Frankie Is Love" bars? ;)

frankie_fan 01-07-2007 12:48 PM

True.

Mr. Marshmallow 01-07-2007 06:39 PM

Looking over in the toon attraction post, the comparsion between celebs and toons makes you realize actually what makes Frankie so wonderful outside of her caring and loving nature: it's her simplicity, both inside and outside.

Frankie doesn't go out of her way to annoy someone, or is COMPLETELY controlled by greed or feeling the need to look pretty and sexy towards everyone she meets when she leaves Foster's. She's very down to Earth.

She doesn't try to be someone she's not and even when she flashes the goods (goods being dressing hot like FMD, don't get any weird eyes 8D), she's still the same sweet, kind, and at times shy girl who works hard for something she loves.

She's got passion, but more importantly she has COMpassion. Most people don't have the tolerance or kindness Frankie does. Most people would either quit or commit suicide in comparison to some of the things that Frankie has put up with.

But that's what's great about her, she's sweet, sweet as sugar. And even as an adult and taking on responsibility for pretty much everyone (except Herriman), she can still be a giggly, child at heart, a quality I find to be very important and very admirable....and cute!

Cassini90125 01-07-2007 06:52 PM

That pretty much covers it. And yet we get criticized for liking her? Methinks that they're the crazy ones.

Indeed! They should be punished!
