What nerve. I have absolutely no sympathy for her. Glad it was shut down. :frankiemad:

Why would someone stoop so low? I don't even know anymore. *shakes head*

On another note, it's always so great when you spend ages on drawing a cartoon character or a comic, and you always get one person who says "This character reminds me of... <insert famous character here>", like they're accusing you of being a rip-off. :edmad:

It is my unhappy duty to inform you all that Seaport Village, one of the most enchanting and picturesque areas in all of San Diego, is going to be destroyed:

I first heard about this on Monday from my cab driver, a very knowledgeable gentleman whom I used repeatedly during my stay in the city last week. I found it a little hard to believe but unfortunately a quick Google search shows that he was right. I am not happy about this; Seaport Village was one of my favorite places to visit in the city, loaded with fine restaurants and interesting places to shop. It will be missed. :bloosad:

If anyone was thinking about attending Comic-Con or visiting the city for any other reason, now is the time to do it... before the bulldozers roll in. :bloosad:

A man ran out of my local Walgreens yesterday evening as I was approaching the store on my nightly supply run, carrying a hand cart full of stolen merchandise. One of the workers chased him but she's in her mid 60's and had no hope of catching him even before he jumped into his car and drove off. Had I gotten there even thirty frikkin' seconds earlier I could have and would have taken the SOB down but such was not to be. This ticks me off no end; people like this loser cause nothing but problems - and higher prices - for the rest of us. In any case a policeman arrived soon after the incident, and I hope the store's security cameras got a good pic of the perp. He belongs in a cage. :frankiemad:

Update - The worker who gave chase got the perp's license plate number; the police caught him 20 minutes later. Turns out he and his girlfriend have a history of this kind of behavior. Here's hoping that they get put away for quite awhile.
