I would definitely suggest "The Big Cheese" because aside from Cheese's stupdity stealing the show, Frankie does the most in this episode and we see more of her trying to work with Cheese then Mac, Bloo, or even with Goo.

I think it's one of the few non Frankie episodes that actually focuses alot on her. Another one she did quite a bit in was "Everyone knows it's bendy", "Blooooo" (one of my favs), I DEFINITELY say put "Store Wars" on there.

And umm....."Neighbor Pains"? I definitely think you should put Big Cheese and Store Wars in for sure, and I personally liked Bloooo alot but it's your call to use any of these or none Cass. Hope this helps.

Howard 12-19-2006 03:21 PM

What about "World Wide Wabbit." Lot of Frankie in that (her computer). Even though it is centered around Herriman, Frankie appears a lot!

Voxxyn 12-19-2006 04:38 PM

"Store Wars" and "The Big Cheese" are my picks as well; Frankie had a central role in both. And MAYBE "Bloooo" if you want to add a fifth.

Cassini90125 12-19-2006 04:48 PM

I'm limiting the number of episodes to three or four to preserve the playback and screencap quality. For what it's worth, I can squeeze 16 Foster's episodes onto a six hour disk if I take out the commercials first, but the image quality suffers a bit.

CG 12-19-2006 04:59 PM

Late in the game I know; but I believe the black line across her neck is a choaker. I think it fits in with the small style she has with the multiple ear piercings.

That's what I always thought, too. Although it kinda makes her look like she has a detachable head. Don't hurt me!

I wouldn't hurt you.I thought it was a weird scar at first.:P

Howard 12-20-2006 06:06 AM

Now just suppose...a new episode reveals the line on Frankie's neck is not a choker, but she actually removes her head in front of Mac and Bloo. She holds it in her arm and is still looking at Blue and Mac talking! YIKES! I do not know if I would want to watch the show after that!:wiltshock:

Okay I just stepped into an "odd zone" for a minute - all is well!

OMG dude...gnarly, LOL!

Medikor 12-20-2006 01:14 PM

As for that Frankie dvd, I suggest World Wide Wabbit and Store Wars. Imposters ONLY if it dosent set you're blood to a boil.
As for a Frankie movie and her past, I don't think it would be what Frankie did but more like what was done to her. I can't see her doing anything to hurt anyone.

I don't have to watch it to copy it, thank the stars. :P

I can't see her hurting anyone, either; it's just not who she is, not at all.

Is there an echo in here? I did suggest World Wide Wabbit in my thread above, and as ususal nobody listened!:jk:

Cassini90125 12-20-2006 02:23 PM

Not to worry, dude, I heard and wrote it down. I'm still gathering opinions on the matter, but I'll figure out which episodes to use fairly soon.

Roger that medikor!

By the way, I am sorry for interrupting the present pattern here, but there has been something about Frankie that REALLY bothers me. Not Frankie herself, but her real name. Is it Francis, or Frances? I have seen Francis on her driver's license, and in one other area. But Francis is a MALE name (I know because it is mine!). I thought it would Frances - which is the FEMALE spelling. I have seen that spelling in Foster's circles as well. Which is it? I know it is not uncommon these days for a female to named a male name (unless your in the South, not being offensive here).

Cassini90125 12-21-2006 07:36 AM

I've noticed that, too. I think it's just a typo. Consider it an honor.

I am honored. I just think a chick with class like Frankie, she should have a proper title!8D

Medikor 12-21-2006 10:19 AM

I figured that was why Frankie prefers to be called "Frankie". I always thought Francis and Frances were both boy names.8D

fosters home fan 12-21-2006 11:10 AM

I know how it's properly spelled

Here is a link that shows how her name is properly spelledhttp://fosterstv.blogspot.com/2006_0...v_archive.html

Well it looks like she is using the male spelling - so I am honored (thanks Cassini)!

Partymember 12-21-2006 02:24 PM

i wondered the same thing meself...

Medikor 12-21-2006 02:39 PM

I'm glad that the final designe lookes the way it does. Those other designes just don't look like Frankie. I can't imagine Fosters without the Frankie we all know and love.

Agree Medikor, that is the Frankie that I love very dearly.

Invader Bloo 12-21-2006 05:33 PM

Notice how she looks like Vicky from FOP in those design images. :wiltshock:

Voxxyn 12-21-2006 06:05 PM

Her final 'canon' design looks a lot like Vicky. They both have spiky red hair with ponytails, green upper-body clothing, bare tummies, pointy noses, large eyes with three thick lashes on each, the same voice actress, similar jobs(babysitting and housekeeping) and fiery tempers.

They're basically opposites in personality, of course, as Frankie is to love what Vicky is to hate. In fact, the exact thing that originally drew me to Frankie was when I read on other sites that her character was a "nice Vicky".

And, yes, I'm very glad that Frankie was changed from the "Vicky II" seen in those concept drawings into the wonderful and captivating character we now know and love for the actual show.

Medikor 12-21-2006 06:22 PM

Perfectly stated Voxxyn. (Love you're new avitar!:D ) I find that most of those other designs are far too "goth" for my taste. I'm glad that they went with the loveing personality she has now instead of the cranky and mean one they originaly planned... But is is interesting to think about how the Frankie/Harriman relatonship would playout if Frankie WAS VickyII.8D

fosters home fan 12-21-2006 06:25 PM

Well besides red hair and same voice actress, I really don't see any other similarity.

Invader Bloo 12-21-2006 06:58 PM

Mr.Herriman would be in his "EC" "maid" mode all of the time if Frankie was "Vicky II". Plus this thread would have like 1 post because no one would like her.

Howard 12-22-2006 10:14 AM

You know, I was in love with Daphne ever since I was five. But I realized that she is a narcissistic, and egotistical rich (you know what). When Frankie came along - here was a GENUINE and realistic character! Money means nothing, nor fancy possessions; Frankie does not fret over what to wear, or if she breaks a nail. When Frankie does dress up - it is to the nines! But Frankie is a diamond in the rough, and that is why I adore her so much!

Medikor 12-22-2006 11:29 AM

I was just listening to my 80's music station on tv and heard the song "Is She Really Going Out With Him" by Jo Jackson. Something clicked and I thought I had to tell you guys that it would be the PERFECT song to make an amv of FMD.
I can't make videos so I hope someone who has talant will look into this. It would be great!:D Here's the video so you guys can hear and judge for youreselves.

I think this would make for a great Frankie video.

Nice one! Since when did I ever see Frankie in a blue bikini (if that's what it is!)?

Cassini90125 12-25-2006 05:45 PM

That outfit is from Squeeze The Day.

Okay. I just read the plot outline for this episode, and since Cartoon Network Australia is starting to air new episodes (possibly Season 4 ones), I'll tune in to this episode when it airs.

Mr. Marshmallow 12-25-2006 09:43 PM

More Frankie goodies this holiday year!

Nice job Cass, it really does look nice to see all of Frankie's outfit up side by side. I think her bathing suit outfit is REALLY cute and it's a shame we only get to see it that one time.

I don't like her hair up in the towel in the robe though, she'd look much better with the towel off if you ask me.

There's always room for more Frankie stuff.

By coincidence the two images you mentioned were the hardest to work with, due to their small size. It was hard to tell at times where exactly the border was between Frankie and the rest of the original screencap. Also, the lower right part of her bathrobe was originally blocked by the CN logo; what you see in the pic is just my best guess as to what it would look like with the logo removed.

The pic looks best with the "Best Friends" skin, if you're not already using it.
