Premium glossy Kodak photo paper. Frankie gets nothing but the best. The printer is an HP psc all-in-one.

Partymember 12-12-2006 03:12 PM

How much does that kind of paper cost?

You know, I'm not certain right off. The pack on my desk has 40 sheets (well, it had 40 sheets)... $20.00? I'm about to sign off and hit the local art shop; when I get back, I'll let you know for certain, assuming they carry the stuff. :)

Cool thanks, I'd appreciate it. Because if I ever decide to print out pics of Frankie for a similar collage thing, or maybe just one big collage of all my fav. female toons, I'd like it to look as nice as possible.

And they look like they came out pretty damn nice.

I personally don't think anyone here or elsewhere should take offense to wanting to date or saying they'd like to go out with Frankie, or that they think they would get along with her. Cause to be honest, I do feel I have alot in common personal wise with her. Doesn't mean she WOULD date me.

Yeah, some people can get reeaaally possessive over their character of choice, even though it's not like anyone has any more of a chance with a fictional character than anyone else.

For the record, I don't watch a whole lot of Teen Titans, but I don't like Terra either.

*raises hand* Me neither.

Sorry for being off-thread topic...

Medikor 12-12-2006 04:18 PM

Oh! Insanefan, I don't mean to sound impasiant, but how is that Frankie video comming along? I'm sure you're going to give us nothing but the best!:D

Voxxyn 12-12-2006 04:45 PM

I've been wanting to know that as well.

That they did.

The local place, "Jerry's Artarama", doesn't carry the same paper; however, the stuff I use comes from Best Buy, and I'm pretty sure it's in the $20-$25 range for 40 sheets. Hope that helps.

InsaneFan 12-12-2006 05:22 PM

xD Sorry, guys. I gave an update when I got my 'Blooty and the Berreast' MV up in the fan creations board. I would've already finished it days ago, but I'm suffering from insufficient clips. =P I need SaP and NP. Dun worry, I'll finish and report to ya'll as soon as I can.

Medikor 12-13-2006 09:11 AM

No rush. Just take you're time and have fun, we can wait.:D

Howard 12-13-2006 01:04 PM

"Good things come to those who are patient..."..er..something like that!;)

You're not the only one! I mainly put pictures into my Frankie folder of My Pictures. I don't go overboard with avatars, fanart and all that stuff.

Cassini90125 12-15-2006 07:29 PM

"Overboard" is when you download the smilies, too.

Which I did.

Medikor 12-16-2006 07:09 AM

Nothing wrong with that, Cassini. The Frankie smilies are cool!:D

GrimTheLost 12-16-2006 06:31 PM

Anything involving Frankie is cool.

Medikor 12-17-2006 04:53 AM

I just seen "Everbody Knows It's Bendy" today and I was pleased to see Frankie star in it. I love seeing her be so kind to imaginary friends.:D

Voxxyn 12-17-2006 06:41 AM

That's what I noticed as well. It wasn't nice that she and Herriman were fooled into grounding the IF gang for things they didn't do, but it nonetheless warmed me seeing her be so motherly and nurturing... even if it was wasted on Bendy.

There's also a scene in "Hiccy Burp" that REALLY shows just how compassionate she truly is. Most probably don't care about that scene at all, but for me, it was a crucial moment in making me fall in love with Frankie. :)

Medikor 12-17-2006 07:34 AM

I've seen Hiccy-Burp several times but I always miss that seen. The only Frankie seen I can remember from that is when she's looking over the performance list and says "Blake Superior, you're up!". :(

Voxxyn 12-17-2006 07:44 AM

It's at the end of the first act. Instantly after an annoyed Wilt throws Bloo away, Frankie is seen comforting a crying small-sized friend.

Cassini90125 12-17-2006 07:51 AM

I used a screencap of that scene in the 2007 calendar.

Medikor 12-17-2006 08:49 AM

I remember that now! I have to agree that it does show just how wonderful Frankie is. It just warms my heart to see her so caring and nurturing to upset little friends.:D

Not to mention getting the chance to hear her adorably cute and whimpery sounding remark: ".....I'm Punk rock".

Even if Bendy was an ass, his prank was worth it just to hear that remark from Frankie.

Medikor 12-17-2006 12:35 PM

I was waiting for her to say that line while I was watching it. It was worth it!8D

Invader Bloo 12-17-2006 01:29 PM

Ahb yes, the second worst episode has one of gthe best lines....quite strange.

Mr. Marshmallow 12-17-2006 01:47 PM

I didn't find Bendy to be a bad episode at all, I liked it because for once it actually showed that IFs can be bad and I mean REALLY bad. Before we got the likes of Little Lincoln and Moose.

I also found it funny that Frankie was complimented on her "delicate hands" by Bendy's bull kindness, and episodes later the two geeks say the exact same thing for Frankie during "Good Wilt hunting".

Oddly enough she took Bendy's compliments more to heart then the geeks.

Medikor 12-17-2006 01:57 PM

That was probobly because Bendy wasant hitting on her like the nerds were.8D

frankie_fan 12-18-2006 08:16 PM

There was one thing I did liked about that episode (besides 'I'm punk rock').

After the house is flooded, and Bloo finishes his speech on how he caught Bendy red handed, Frankie mentions that he flooded the house. But Bloo then tries to come back with the line:

'Yeah, well Bendy took the cookie!!' 8D

Frankie then slaps her face in disbelief!

Cassini90125 12-18-2006 08:24 PM

Yeah, I thought that bit was classic. It was also nice to see Frankie and Mr. Herriman working together without the usual hostilities. I don't think I'd want to see that all the time - they're funny when they're sniping at each other - but it was a nice change of pace.

Medikor 12-19-2006 07:37 AM

I love that cookie bit!8D But I really enjoyed how Frankie had such a prominant role in Good Wilt Hunting. I would almost prefer that she not have a movie of her own if she has a meaty role in every other movie.;)

Howard 12-19-2006 07:46 AM

I still think an hour Frankie episode would satisfy me.

Partymember 12-19-2006 11:51 AM

oh yeah, i'm holding out hope. Actually, i'm having a friend with DSL download FMD for me today, LOL!

Sweet!

Voxxyn 12-19-2006 12:14 PM

Now that GWH is finished and Wilt finally got to shine, Frankie is easily the most deserving of a hour-long episode. While most of the other characters have had their backgrounds fully/partly revealed, Frankie remains somewhat enigmatic and mysterious.

Partymember 12-19-2006 12:25 PM

yeah, well, he's a huge Phish fan so he might not remember to do it (if you catch my drift). HOPEFULLY it'll be burned to DVD and i can watch it whenever, seeing as how i missed it today (angry grumbling).

Medikor 12-19-2006 01:31 PM

Frankie really should have a movie. I'm just kind of worried that if anything of her past is revealed then it could affect her character in a negative way. But I suppose the chances of that would be slim since GWH was done so wonderfuly. Frankie does deserve a movie and I'm sure it will only make us Frankie fans love her even more.

fosters home fan 12-19-2006 01:53 PM

question

I have always been curious as to who her parents are/were. Does anyone know what that black line across her neck is?

Mr. Marshmallow 12-19-2006 01:55 PM

Most people keep their past secret for a reason, mostly if they did do something bad or something bad happened to them. I honestly don't think revealing any skeletons in Frankie's closet would reflect negatively on who she is or her character in general.

Besides, the past is the past, it's apart of who we are and as we saw with Wilt, it's something we have to accept and simply can't run away from. I also think that if by chance Frankie did do something horrible in the past, odds are she would be harder on herself then anyone else to her.

Mac and Eduardo and the others would never hold anything she did against Frankie personally.....Bloo is another story, but he'd more then likely make fun of her or laugh or something. In anycase, I know the Foster's gang would accept Frankie back no matter what she's done IF she's done anything at all.

I also think that if they do make a movie for Frankie like for Wilt they should NOT have her travel across the country to find her parents or whatever. As much as I would love to see Frankie in the lime light, I don't wanna see the exact same set up used with just a different character being focused on.

I think the way Wilt's movie worked out for him was just fine, and if Frankie deserves a movie (which she totally, totally, TOTALLY does considering all the work she never gets appreciated for :() she should get one that's unique and different from Wilt's.

Btw Home fan, that's one of the BIGGEST mysteries behind Frankie: her family. We don't know jack about her parents, if she has any siblings etc.

Cassini90125 12-19-2006 02:03 PM

I'm pretty sure the black line is a necklace. There's virtually no significant information available about her parents, though there's been a lot of speculation.

Okay, guys, help me out, here. Some time back I burned a DVD devoted to Eduardo, with the episodes "Who Let The Dogs In?", "Eddie Monster", and "Land Of The Flea". I want to do one to honor Frankie, too. Obviously it would include "Frankie My Dear" and "Setting A President". Not so obvious is the third (and possibly a fourth) episode, though part of me thinks "Imposter's" is a logical choice. Regardless, I'm open to suggestions. Got any?
