Totally cool! ;D

BlooCheese 11-12-2006 07:58 PM

Wowee!
Is there any cereal inside the box?

Sparky 11-12-2006 09:33 PM

Mine? Lol no, I glued it shut, I wasn't going to put FOOD in it. ;)

I totally want to make a fullsized one though and transfer the inner bags of my cereal boxes into it as I buy them.

(I know, its blurry. And Bloo got covered up by Mac, lol.) The box is going on my Foster's shelf.

That's amazing! Thanks for sharing the link, Sparky.

Haha, that's awesome!

lucyrocks73 11-13-2006 02:56 PM

Sparky.

THAT FREAKING ROCKS.

You should go into the cereal box designing business.

Hey, I'd even stop eating my precious Cocoa Pebbles if they made those.

I remember the PPG cereal- It was Rice Krispies with Pop Rocks in it... So good... Ah, I miss it.

EDIT: I found a pic of the PPG cereal!!!

Wow that's pretty cool! Too bad it's not around anymore, as you say. But Pop Rocks were in it? It sounds like a bad case of indigestion to me... LOL

Hi there, folks. Name's Abby. I just now joined because I was so stoked at all the great comments you guys were giving on my 'Foster's Flakes' cereal box, and I wanted to say thanks! I just went to get the real one printed yesterday--$40 well spent. :wiltshock: --and I'm turning it in to my design class tomorrow.

BabyElephant 11-14-2006 11:03 AM

That was you? Did you ever know that you're my hero?

Abby ~ hope you get an excellent mark. It's fabulous work! :bloogrin

Sparky 11-14-2006 02:37 PM

$40 to have it done, eh? Where, out of curiousity? Will they do stuff like that for anybody?

Anyone can
You can get wide format printing at many places,
for example Kinkos,
(at least there here on the east coast.)
or if you have any friends that are in Marketing, drafting or Engineering they may have access to a wide format printer.

the only problem is they cannot do as good a job as a professional print shop.
I had a large poster over 50 megs and when it was ripped to the printer the postcript kept erroring out. so i took it to a professional Graphics shop and they were able to take my file make it work.

I'm getting mine done at a copier called Pip Printing. It's like Kinko's...only less evil. :P
I checked with a professional printer, like montitech just said, but they only did mass production; wouldn't do just a single one for a school project.

Print shops usually charge a high setup fee, and yes many refuse to do a run of only one or two. particularly if they do not have any ink plotters

AH! Awesome! I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I did this in the eighth grade. We had to make a cereal type, design a box-- complete with nutritional info!-- and film a commercial. And it all had to be Halloween themed. I don't remember what I got on it,t hough. It was four years ago...

There's your advertising gimmick right there. I love it!

That would also make for a good commercial, they can play Goo's seance from Infernal Slumber, and when Mac opens the door after Cheese says "I like cereal" they could show Cheese holding a box of the cereal.

I know this was posted, like, a year ago, but that, quite simply, is LEGENDARY.:D

bloonuggets 11-08-2007 06:06 AM

Well, this has been brought back from the depths of burial...

Sparky 11-08-2007 09:52 AM

Well, it's pretty neat though. ;) And thanks Bluebottle F, it looks cool amongst all my "real" collectibles.

TB 11-08-2007 03:59 PM

I'm planning on redoing this when I find a larger/better source image of the box but...8D

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../eduardOs2.png

Some other things I'd like to fix on that too like the tiny text needs to be skewed a bit and stretched out to fill that box.

E: Forgot to mention, thank you BabyElephant for the "stays frightened" line. 8D

Sparky 11-08-2007 04:09 PM

Stays frightened even in milk. 8D

Where's CoC-O's? ;)

LaBlooGirl 11-08-2007 04:27 PM

What seriously?! They haven't actually come out with a Fosters' cereal yet named that?
Geez...the potential for Foster's cereals are endless....what is WRONG with these people?!

LOL 8D

BabyElephant actually provided the "stays frightened even in milk" line.:) Sorry, should have said that in my post. Gonna go back and edit that in.

When I fix up that Ed one I might try some Coco Puffs. ;)

One Radical Dude 11-08-2007 08:13 PM

Man, those Eduard O's look like they're a scream.

The set turns up on eBay occasionally, although none are available right now. The last set I saw there cost about $40.00, + another $10.00 for shipping and handling.

Jackie Khones 06-29-2008 05:36 PM

I can imagine it coming out, and I'd like stuff my pantry with it.

"Hey, whats for breakfast?"
"Cereal. FHFIF cereal."

"Hey, what's for lunch?"
"Cereal. FHFIF cereal."

"Alright, dinner time. What are we having?"
"Cereal. FHFIF cereal."
