Any other newly-revealed scenes with Frankie in them? Yes, I must know.

antgirl1 11-04-2006 12:41 PM

If anyone wants to record the other Ad, then you're going to have to watch Cartoon Network all day until you come across it. Because I can't, because I don't own the technology needed. XD

Voxxyn 11-04-2006 01:30 PM

I actually spent a few hours in noon tuned in to CN, JUST so I could be able to catch the ad. I've only seen them air the first one, so if I had to guess(and feel free to prove me wrong), the second ad didn't debut until later in the day... :P

kageri 11-04-2006 02:22 PM

I'm excited about the road-trip thing, especially about the plane.

IMAGINARY FRIENDS ON A PLANE

coming to a theater near you

No but seriously, I've thought before about all the funniness that could be had with the whole gang on a plane. I'm pumped for this movie.

Bus stops!
Rush hour! XDDDD
One second scene where Wilt blocks the other IF's shot at the Basketball hoop! This'll get ugly. O.O

Yeah, when I saw that scene in the first "trailer", my thought was, "Uh-oh...DOG FIGHT!" I believe that Wilt is really gonna show that Pit Bull gameness for real, this time-all scratch, no turns! If that other guy can't roll with the game dawgs, he better keep his rump on da chain!

Wonder who that basketball-headed dude is, though? He might not be an Imaginary Friend at all, but some manifestation of Wilt's darker side. Or, this might be like the scenario in the movie "Crossroads"(which also involves a road trip), in which an aspiring Blues stringer has to go up against the Devil's own guitarist in a Blues "head-cuttin'" to win back the soul of an aging Blues harpist, Willie Brown, an old friend of the incomparable Robert Johnson, who like Mistah Johnson(according to legend), sold his soul for the ability to play the Blues.

I like that idea actually. The background does seem kind of dark, almost dream-like. It could just be the artwork, though.

I think that whole description made my head spin a little. @__@

I saw the ad last night during the new ep. Very cool! Wilt riding the mower brings me back to the days of Pete & Pete...

Maybe he's a friend that replaced Wilt to his creator?

pitbulllady 11-04-2006 03:20 PM

There's even a big announcement for GWH on Animated-news.com now, in today's Saturday, Nov. 4, edition! You can see it at http://www.animated-news.com

They also announced that November is National Adoption Month in the US(maybe worldwide, I don't know), which is why there's gonna be all these new episodes of Foster's, the Foster's marathon, and of course, the movie. I just hope that this doesn't indicate that Wilt is going to be adopted at the end of the movie, though!

antgirl1 11-04-2006 03:26 PM

Since in that one-second scene, they both have evil-like glares against each other. (Even though Wilt's is a little harder to see) My opinion is that Basketball-headed "IF" was Wilt's past-life rival. :D

Aw, man! I was looking forward to see Frankie sing! But I did suspect that the charaters except Wilt will sing in the bus. I guess I thought right!

Well, will *anyone* find the ad so he/she can record it and upload it to Youtube.com so I can see it?! ANYONE?!?>:( Please? I'm desperate...:'(

EDIT: And by away, your guess of the Basketball-headed guy is the same guess as mine! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!?!?! Can it be possible that I can think identical minds, sometimes?!?!

Mac wasn't singing either...could be because he CAN'T. XDDD

Sorry. Great minds think alike! :D

Hey, having a basketball rival in Wilt's past gives us even MORE suspence...sort of...

I still can't wait to see the second ad of "Good Wilt Hunting"! And it turns out that Wilt will finally use his "Magic" on the stadium!:D

InsaneFan 11-05-2006 09:13 AM

*sheilds eyes from all the posts* Okay, I didn't know where else to post this, so I'm putting it here. I'm not going to come here again until after the premeir of GWH. I want NOTHING spoiled for me until I watch it(though my evil friend saw the preview and and keeps on trying to tell me what happened in it). After looking around here for 10 seconds, I already saw an avatar from it(I assume), so I've decided to avoid coming here and watching commercials until after the 23rd. See you all then!

antgirl1 11-05-2006 11:45 AM

Should I just make a thread that discusses GWH?

I think that would be premature at this point; there's still a couple of new episodes to go before GWH. After they've aired, indulge yourself. ;)

Chaos Wielder 11-05-2006 11:51 AM

I'd say that it'd be a good idea to make a thread about GWH, but that's just what I think. ;) But at the same time, Cassini has a point. There isn't much info about it right now, so there really wouldn't be TOO much to talk about at this point except what we hope we will see in it. :)

Anyway, I did see the ad more than once and I must admit that it's making me even more eager to see it now! I was patient earlier, but now I'm having trouble waiting! XD I am becoming impatient now-it looks like it's going to be very good!

But I'll still try to be patient. It'll be hard, but I'll be ok...I think. :P

"C" the Dragon 11-05-2006 04:31 PM

Yeah! It's only 18 days away! How bad can it be?

scary_dream 11-05-2006 07:24 PM

Bad enough, believe me.

8D This airs a few days before my birthday, and I'm actually looking forward to it more than my birthday!

(Lol I know... I'm hopeless)

Sparky 11-05-2006 08:29 PM

Yes, I say that once the ep airs, someone should start a completely new thread for it rather than using this one or the "Just a Heads Up" thread.

LaBlooGirl 11-06-2006 04:34 AM

It looks awesome, plain and simple. Can't wait to see Wilt take on his rival in that court, and see him WIN. (Cause we know Wilt will definitely kick his butt.) I'm with Kageri, the plane scenes will probably be hilarious, as well as the bus scenes. Frankie already had me laughing by telling Bloo in her irritated fashion to "GET IN THE BACK." lol

antgirl1 11-06-2006 05:52 AM

What he DOESN'T win? O.O;;

I don't recall mentioning he doesn't win?? I said we KNOW he'll kick the other's Imaginary butt (assuming his rival is an IF).

Cartoon Network has posted a scene from "Good Wilt Hunting" on their video pages (video.cartoonnetwork.com) today (11/6).

CG 11-06-2006 11:01 AM

Which is only available in the united states.

I'm sorry Cartoon Network but I'm really beginning to hate your websites.

Just go to the website bloonuggets said exactly, go to 'Shows', select 'Fosters' and there it is.

Imaginary Light 11-06-2006 11:40 AM

How did I know that when I came back to this board that there would be pages upon pages about everyone's excitement about the GWH ad?:P

I basically freaked out when I saw the ad. For a second there, I didn't even realize what the ad was advertizing, and when I did...well, I got extremely excited:P It looks so good!

lucyrocks73 11-06-2006 11:43 AM

I found it.

But because I'm incredibly lazy, I got the link for anyone else who is also lazy.

Did the thing with Frankie and the nerds scare anyone else?

"C" the Dragon 11-06-2006 12:05 PM

Boy, oh boy! Did I saw it and love it!:D

Spoiler Below
I love Wilt's expressions when Mac and Bloo asked Wilt about his creator! They're classic LOL!

Spoiler Below
Who knew that those two nerds have a crush on Frankie? Two more victims that been in love with Frankie.

The more I want to see it!:D :D :D

Sure!
Spoiler Below

So Mac and Bloo are walking around the picnic, and they start talking to the nerdy scientists that "discovered" Coco. Suddenly, Frankie walks over, offering them hot dogs.* So, the two nerds obviously have a crush on her. The one guy goes, "I'd be happy to eat anything you made, Frankie..." It's funny, if not disturbing.

*There's a shot of Frankie that I imagine will be on many an avatar as she walks over- an overexaggerated (*gets bricked*) version of Frankie to show how much the nerds love her.

It's a pity that Cartoon Network is so stingy. It's quite sad, really.

-Marty :goo:

Voxxyn 11-06-2006 01:04 PM

Spoiler Below
Ooooooo... not only that, but the first ad showed one of them ogling an asleep Frankie in the plane scene. Could this actually be a sideplot in the movie?

In any case, I'll give them credit for having good taste. ;)

CG 11-06-2006 01:30 PM

Spoiler Below
But wait a minute. Coco came to Foster's a good year before Frankie started hanging/working there like, 19 years ago. How can the nerds, who seem to be around Frankie's age, have been the scientists to discover Coco? They must look very youthful for their ages!

CCMars 11-06-2006 01:36 PM

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Wilt's little spat with someone over the phone. The suspense kills! o.o

Sparky 11-06-2006 01:53 PM

I'm not spoiler-ing this because it's just a little thing unrelated to the plot but...

Jackie Khones was created by Kakhi Jones! :D (I tried to take a printscreen but it doesn't seem to work). Toonified Kakhi is so cute. ;)

That clip was awesome. I wish there was a way I could put it on my site. Y'all might want to watch colo-bix's site though, he's been able to extract the Flash clips from the CN site before and upload them to his own site (I don't know if he'd have trouble doing that with a clip available only in the US though; perhaps a proxy can remedy that).

That. Is. Too. Cute.

antgirl1 11-06-2006 02:40 PM

Spoiler Below
So, both the nerd and red head headed male ARE Coco's scientists.

Mac: "Where's your creator, Wilt? We'd love to meet him!"
Bloo: "Or her? Is he a girl?"
Mac: "Does she play basketball?"
Bloo: "Does she own a beach house?"
Mac: "I'll bet she's as nice as you!"
Bloo: "Would she lend me some cash?"

LAWL. Finally, questions about Wilt's creator in general.

Appearently Wilt's creator is alive. So the whole "Creator's dead" goes down the drain. "Hey, it's me, you thought you've never hear from me again, did you? Oh really? Ok, it's on! Well I'll be there in two days, and you can count on it!" -Wilt

Aww, I don't think we see Ed's creator...or Coco's (well, that's a "Well duh")

AWW!! Coco with a flower in her hair, "playing" a banjo/guitar!
