Judging from the summaries lying all around the net, I would say this happens AFTER the creator picnic. In fact, I believe not seeing his creator at the picnic is what makes Wilt decide to go search for them in the first place.

Uh, sorry for veering away from where this conversation is heading...But I found out that my family will probably have Thanksgiving at my Aunt's house, AND SHE'S GOT CABLE. So I'll get to see it! I and I don't have to be evil to stop evilness! YAY!! *dances*

Voxxyn 11-01-2006 01:41 AM

:( Evilness? I think Wilt himself would want his fans to spend quality time with their families.

If you find a way to see it on Thanksgiving Day, that's fine. But to be honest, Wilt wouldn't be very proud if you decided to shun your family for a television program, no matter how beloved it or him are to you. And like I previously said, Cartoon Network will repeat it into infinity, so it's not like you'll miss it for the rest of your life.

Sorry if I stepped on any toes, but I had to get that off me.

I agree with you, but I can see it from the other perspective as well. For example, it's very possible our thanksgiving will be at my grandparents on my mother's side. My mom has seven brothers who are all coming and, well, let's just say no one gets along very well. The drama has been outright ugly in that side of my family lately, and despite everyone gathering and trying to be at least civil to each other, my entire inner family (dad, mom, sister, me) agree that it's almost guaranteed not to happen. That's why, in this case, I would choose a television show over my family. I dislike some of my uncles and over half of my cousins, and I would rather not be involved in their drama.

It's sad to think about, but not all families love each other (or do, but have given up). Similar bloodlines do not equal instant TLC. Even in the Fosters' world I believe many of the friends, possibly even Wilt, can attest to that.

LosDosEduardos 11-01-2006 12:47 PM

:-/Well, I plan to see it in the morning before the parade, then again at either my Uncle Bo's house or my Aunt Barbie's house. This is kinda weird to see it first in the morning, then again at night at another house, isn't it?:-[

Voxxyn 11-01-2006 01:01 PM

I can understand that, and I'm not gonna blame you if you'd rather be watching GWH than being part of what will most likely be a very unpleasant family gathering. I do hope things will go well for you(Or at least, not as bad as usual).

Voxxyn 11-03-2006 03:43 PM

I'm watching "Bloo's the Boss", like I'm sure everyone else is doing... and it just aired a PREVIEW of "Good Wilt Hunting".

Good stuff, I must say.

antgirl1 11-03-2006 03:45 PM

Me too! I made a thread about it. XDDD

Sparky 11-04-2006 03:15 PM

:terrconf:

Look at this:

eBay listing

...Is this official? I mean I guess the poster is, but can there really be an official DVD of GWH? It comes with a Bloo plushie and everything. Quite a few people are bidding on it.

One Radical Dude 11-04-2006 04:33 PM

:wiltshock: I'm guessing that this is something only those that work on the show and relatives can get this sort of thing. I'm expecting the bid to go even higher.

WTH?!?!?!?!?!:wiltshock::wiltshock::wiltshock: I, like, showed mom this, and she was surprised, too! But she did say that it could be a scam or something, because it said "Will except money, NO checks". But still, I WANT THAT POSTER!!!!! HOW DID HE GET IT?!?!?! Mom still wonders that, too.:wiltshock::wiltshock::wiltshock: And boy, will he/she get fired or arrested if this were found out.

Cassini90125 11-04-2006 05:11 PM

Unless it's guaranteed to arrive at the buyer's home before Thanksgiving I would ignore it.

CG 11-05-2006 12:53 AM

*weakly* Highest bidder... e-heh...

I want a Bloo plush. What can I say.

T-Rexotron 11-05-2006 04:26 AM

Why are Europeans discriminated this much?!
Where i live, there ain't no foster posters or Bloo pluchies.
I am so sad now...:'(

Uh, the home of the person buying the item?

HappyFoppy 11-05-2006 08:12 AM

I sure hope Craig replys to this. I'm really confused. If CG gets it, maybe she can see what it really is.

And I also want a Bloo plush.

Oh! Eh heh... It's just the first time of me hearing the "Buyer's Home" thing. I thought it was some store.:-[

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention: I got a Bloo plush toy at Christmas! So I have no need to get it.

girl_named_goo 11-05-2006 11:49 AM

this is bad....

Hey guys. This is Lauren Faust, I write for the show. I just wanted to post about this. These are promotional items that are usually sent to reviewers before the premiere. It is REALLY REALLY BAD that this person is selling it. ESPECIALLY before it airs on TV. Let me explain: Say whoever buys this puts it YouTube. Then everyone who watches it on the internet won't tune in for the premiere. Then the premiere will get lower ratings than it would have. Then the folks at CN and Mattel say, "gee, I guess Foster's isn't as popular as we thought. Maybe we shouldn't greenlight 6th season/put out lots and lots of Foster's toys."

If this guy waited until after the premiere, that would have been another thing. Please don't support this guy. What he's doing is wrong.

And while I'm here, I'd like to thank you all for this forum, which I check regularly. Of all the animation forums that discuss our show, yours is the most thoughtful. You are all honest about your opinions without being judgemental or rude, and you discuss what we do with intelligence and depth.

Yay for you guys!!:bloogrin :) ;) :D :cheese: :goo:

CCMars 11-05-2006 12:01 PM

Thank you for coming in to clarify this, Lauren, and welcome to the fourm!

kaytea 11-05-2006 12:12 PM

what CC said =D
oh and I too welcome you to NF

bloonuggets 11-05-2006 01:08 PM

She's also the series' supervising producer, and married to Mr. McCracken.

Carlaz 11-05-2006 01:17 PM

Thanks for the heads up Lauren!

That's disgusting that this guy is selling promotional items ahead of the premiere. :'(

We look forward to more amazing FHFIF shows. My kids & I are loyal fans! :D

"C" the Dragon 11-05-2006 01:32 PM

Whatever this guy is up to, I don't like it one bit!>:( Oh, and weclome to the forum, Lauren!:D

Thank you SO much for your comments, Lauren! They really do mean a lot to me, and I'm sure that I'm speaking for the rest of the members and "crew" on this forum, as well! I suspected that this person on Ebay was someone who'd gotten stuff for reviewing, and it's so sad that he/she is deciding to sell it. Such an item to me, like that huge Wilt doll that Sparky made and you and Craig signed for my birthday, would be absolutely priceless, like a family heirloom, and there is no way I would part with it. I'm by no means a rich person, and often DO get "hard-up for money", as we say down South, but I'm old enough to appreciate the emotional value of things more than the financial values, since the latter will always go up and down, and eventually down, while the emotional worth of something always increases to the person it means the most to.

Again, thank you!

pitbulllady

Hey, Lauren! It's good to have you here again (first time since switching to vBulletin). :) Thanks for bringing this up. I considered sending you a message on this, but now, it isn't necessary. I wasn't going to plan on getting this, anyway. If somehow this gets cracked on the Internet before it premieres, we're going to see if we can have the video removed (I don't plan to watch it before the premiere, should it be leaked to YouTube or similar pages). I don't want this to hurt GWH's ratings, and I believe this show deserves a sixth season. Thanks again for what you and the rest of the gang have done. :)

CG 11-05-2006 02:34 PM

Well either way, it has now risen to $51.00 this other person reeeeally wants that dvd eh?

But thanks for clearing it up Lauren, even if I did happen to be the one to win this (I doubt, really I do) I wouldn't upload it anywhere. For one, I respect Foster's too much to do that. All I do is make music videoes. And for secondly, I don't have the internet ability to upload entire episodes. Which I wouldn't do, either way.

antgirl1 11-05-2006 02:50 PM

Now I want to know whether or not there WILL be a DVD for Good Wilt Hunting...:(

It's probably a 1/1,000,000,000 chance...

Well, if people buy the upcoming DVDs, then that chance goes way up.

Sparky 11-05-2006 08:26 PM

See, this is why I bought the GBA Foster's game rather than just downloading the ROM. To support the franchise. (Yeah I finally found one today!)

Thanks Lauren. My watchdogs will sniff out anyone who uploads the ep early and blab on 'em. :gooblab:

LaBlooGirl 11-07-2006 11:36 AM

Whoo hoo! Hi Lauren. :bloogrin Thanks for the compliments, I speak for us all when I say we appreciate it. Your show just rocks to the millionth degree, and I SO hope there is a sixth season. Actually, I hope Foster's goes on to outlive the Simpsons...really I do...as being a WAY better series with far more intelligence behind it. So go YOU guys!! :D

Voxxyn 11-07-2006 11:49 AM

The Simpsons at it's prime is pretty much incomparable, but it's quality now is only slightly above My Gym Partner's A Monkey. Pretty sad, but that's how I see it. I enjoyed "Treehouse of Terror MDCCCXXXXXXVII" last Sunday, but only on a "dumb humor" level, completely lacking the intelligence or unique wit it once had.

Honestly, I think Foster's is a little too good for Cartoon Network.

Invader Bloo 11-07-2006 01:26 PM

I can't wait! I marked it on my calender. :P
I want that set too!

Kzinistzerg 11-07-2006 03:16 PM

Well, I ain't bidding on it. Nice to see you watch this forum, Lauren. (wheee!)

BabyElephant 11-08-2006 11:57 PM

Hey, you guys are lucky...I live in Hawaii, and we're so far behind the mainland timewise that "Good Wilt Hunting" might well air here at 1:00 pm...not to mention the fact that the cable company here seems to have no discernable pattern as to when things are on...GRRRR!

I must admit a fondness for "Gym Partner". I had a fantasy when I was a wee one of going to an animal school. Maybe that's the reason.

Invader Bloo 11-11-2006 07:43 PM

Gym Partner is OK. Too many butt jokes though.
Yeah, niceto knowLauren checks out here! I'msure it is a sure trhing GWH will be on You Tube after the movie premeires. Istill refuse to get the game, but I will buy figures & atleast 1 or 2 plushies. If CN produces a decent game I will buy it w/o thinking! OT, but.... How about that there's only 2 weeks until the movie!;)

They really think butt humor is better than anything in the world. >:(

I really don't like whatever this guy's doing. It's really cool Lauren informs us though. The team (Lauren, Craig, whoever) should contact him saying he need s to put that down immediatly IMO. It's just not fun if things like this happen. What am I saying - It's ILLEGAL. I really don't hope Lauren's story is just like a crystal ball - my effort in Foster's is up all the way, it's better than any cartoon I know as it's fun, dynamic, nicely drawn, good for young and old - and props to the voice acting for sounding so... IC. Like the voice actors are really they're characters (even if one voice actor does 3 of 'em.). I just have a feeling it'll stay around very long - even if the episodes stop being released it'll still be on a while, just like Dexter's Laboratory and those older shows. It's a main good part of CN for showing episodes of shows pretty long. Anyway, back to GWH: I'm looking forward to it and I'm not check youtube before the actual release date. (maybe after... ;)) I despise the guy who's selling that on eBay. Oh yeah, Ceeg: I can be 100% sure you're not bidding on that auction anymore? :D
Also, Lauren: Welcome to Never Forgotten! It's fun you inform us with info about the show. :)

Invader Bloo 11-14-2006 02:49 PM

Cow & Chicken/ I AM Weasel were great shows.
The guy took off his auction.

No, that's not quite right. eBay removed the listing of the object. But it had already completed by the time they had done that. So it was won.

Invader Bloo 11-14-2006 03:16 PM

Oh.:(
Just saw another ad it had the a little bit of the song, they weer all singing "Ccocococococococo!" the Frankie yelled "SHUT UP!". I laughed so hard.
