Yeah, I kinda favor Eduardo in the series, and I have some artwork of him in my Photobucket Account. But what embarassed me is that he doesn't like being exposed. I also hope that he will have a respected episode in Season 5. Maybe in that episode, he would probably be dressed in a fancy coat briefly and speak with an English accent and briefly lose the guff tone. I think that episode might be called "Mr. Ed." Also, in the comments for part one of "Eddie Monster" on YouTube, Kaytea said that she doubts that the Wikipedia article about his eventual "death" is true. I believe her. I hope that nothing bad will ever happen to Ed. Afterall, why would he die if he's a main character? Kaytea also said that according to Lauren Faust, there might not be any deaths in the show at all. And I can't wait to see the little girl who created him. I wish I would know her name.

Voxxyn 10-20-2006 07:21 PM

Wikipedia also said that Bloo is Mac's only friend in the world and that Frankie is named after Pixies' Frank Black. ::)

IN NO WAY SUCH WILL HAPPEN. Especially not someone as vulnerable and huggable as Ed.

LosDosEduardos 10-20-2006 07:51 PM

Maybe, also, in "Mr. Ed," I think the plot would be that Eduardo wants to act like a gentleman. That must be the reason why I want the episode idea to be Ed talking, walking, and acting like an English gentleman like Mr. Herriman.:herriman: Plus, I wish that I had him as my Imaginary Friend. And what about another well-deserved episode, maybe one where he would develop a crush on Frankie?:-[ Now that would be weird. Anywho, I'd just like to stuff his heart with potato-loving goodness.

BlooCheese 10-21-2006 03:35 PM

Kill Eduardo? No. Impossible.
Well, maybe not impossible, but I find that highly unlikely. They day the Foster's crew kills off one of their characters will be the day pigs fly. *looks out window and sees flying pig*
NOOO!
But seriously. I don't believe they'll ever get rid of their characters in such a cruel way.
And Wikipedia lies.

Invader Bloo 10-21-2006 03:47 PM

They'll never kill a character. If they want them off they can adopt them, or have them move (for humans).

Yeah, those are better ways.
But I don't think they'll ever get rid of a character as major as Eduardo.

Invader Bloo 10-21-2006 09:46 PM

My guess is they'll never get rid of any of the forster' 5, Herriman, Frankie, Madame F, Duchess, Cheese or Goo.

CG 10-23-2006 03:11 AM

Oh dude, killing off ANYTHING in Foster's wouldn't be allowed by the census at all. It'd have to be like. An ant. Or something tiny.

But yeah, Eduardo is too much of an important role in the show I highly doubt we'll see him or any of the others be adopted out. But who knows. Maybe the final final episode of all time will get them all adopted.

Word to the wise, LosDosEduardos-DO NOT believe ANYTHING you read on Wikipedia. regarding upcoming episodes of "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends"! That site has long been plagued with an assortment of trolls, liars, and spammers, who often post fake information about upcoming episodes. Some of these people are wanna-be screen writers who cannot separate their own fantasy fanfiction from the show's real plots, so they pretend to be knowledgeable about what's going to happen, when in fact they're just posting their own fanfiction as if they were really writing for the show. Some just want to make fans angry and get a response. There was a member of another forum who adamantly hated Eduardo, and always kept posting these stupid episode ideas in which Eduardo dies, so I would assume that this is the same person who keeps posting "information" on an upcoming episode in which Eduardo dies. Lauren Faust herself has stated that there will be NO episodes dealing directly with death, and certainly no main character deaths, since that is not a topic they wish to cover. It is ashamed, though, that many fans of the show do not come here, but go to Wikipedia instead to get information, and are thus misled.

LosDosEduardos 10-23-2006 04:25 PM

Yeah. I don't want Ed to die either. I also read in Wikipedia that someone wrote that Ed had cancer. I don't believe it. I don't believe it one bit.

Have them all adopted? Puh-lease. I don't know what the future has in store for FHIF if Craig would make one more episode of it.
But what my episode ideas? I'd like to see one where Ed might speak with an English accent, or one where he would develop a crush on Frankie. That'd be cool.

Episode ideas don't really belong in character discussion threads. You're welcome to start your own thread for it; it should probably go in the Fanfic section. Ep ideas can be discussed in the character threads to an extent, but if you really want "feedback" on your ideas, you need to do that someplace else.

She does have a point. I could make an Episode idea on my LDE page or in this forum's Fanfic section.

I wasn't laughing or embarassed to see Ed get filmed naked on "The Big Cheese," but just concerned. However, I think that Ed might learn to be comfortable with it in some of my Fanfictions, like episode three of my Fanfiction miniseries. He could learn to become "one with nature."

Why in the world does Ed refer to the male characters on the show by the title "Seņor" like Sr. Mac, and refer to most of the female characters by "Seņorita" and "Seņora"?
Maybe it could probably be the same reason Mr. Herriman refers to the characters by the title "Master" or "Miss."

bigdog 10-27-2006 07:31 AM

Senor means "Mr." Senorita means "Ms." and Senora means "Mrs." He talks spanglish and that's just how he adresses them.

They killed off Terrence's pizza firend in "Seeing Red", he even had terrified screams.

But of course he did look delicous & it was funny.

i'd like to see a n Ed episode where Ed sees Cheese scared & starts acting as his bodygaurd. That would be funny. " I want chocholate milk!" "Sr. Give him the chocolate milk, now!"8D

Dude, that episode just might be called "Cheesyguard." I wonder what Ed will be displayed for on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon?

LosDosEduardos 11-03-2006 04:48 AM

Sorry if I'm going to give attention, but I was thinking about having him speak some of "la lengua japonesa" as well. :-/ --Konnichiwa?

I'm still wondering what he might do in "Loom of One's Own" after "Good Wilt Hunting." Maybe he might come with the Foster's group and stay with them during the museum trip.

Ed should play some roll in GWH that's a gimmie.

As for "Loom" it depends on how much time the writers gave to the scenes not involving Madam Foster/Bloo. Which could be anything from playing a significant roll in the B-Plot (Should the episode have one.) or just regulated to a couple scenes at the most. Then again if need be they could have injected Ed into the main story of that episode. (After all I can see Ed going just as nuts about a fabric store as Madam Foster.)

But until these episodes actually air we won?t know for sure.

LosDosEduardos 11-03-2006 05:14 PM

Hey, I just got some dirt dug up, and I know you might've seen this too.
Spoiler Below
Ed's creator is a police officer. I wish I got to know her name, still. Oh well, I guess Ed will introduce her to Mac and Bloo, and us viewers, when GWH premieres.:-/

CG 11-03-2006 05:32 PM

You don't know that for sure LosDosEduardos. You've just assumed that to be true because you saw a police woman helping the gang out in the preview. That does not make her Eduardo's creator so please stop trying to feed us false information at least until you know for sure.

LosDosEduardos 11-03-2006 05:51 PM

Okay.

LosDosEduardos 11-07-2006 07:18 PM

You know, I have always adored that big lovable purple-furred Spanish-speaking minotaur since after "Eddie Monster." Before the premiere of "House of Bloo's," and when I saw the promo for FHIF, I didn't know what language Ed was speaking until the time he saved Mac. Boy, I tell you he's my idol, and a pretty good character. Although one of my fancharacters is his older brother, he's still adorable.

LosDosEduardos 11-17-2006 03:51 PM

Sorry for the triple-post, but I just wanna say that...
Spoiler Below
Ed did a great job in saving Mac and Bloo for making those imaginary pies for the villains Goo created. He deserves full credit.

Sparky - the spoiler is for Make-Believe-It-Or not, fyi. I wanted to point that out since this is the Ed thread and not the one for the ep so I unsuspectingly highlighted the spoiler and ruined that part of the ep for myself.

I agree, though they all put up a good offensive before they got captured.

Still, I was overjoyed by the fact that Ed got a fairly large role in "Make Believe It Or Not". It's been far too long since he had a decent-sized part in an episode, and Ed just tends to make me giggle like a moron whenever he's on screen. I think that, in a lot of ways, Ed tends to remind me of myself when I was a child: overeager in the simplistic things I did and frightened of nearly everything, yet occasionally being able to do something courageous/noteworthy. I really do think Ed is a great character who tends to be overlooked, which is a shame because he deserves as much credit as possible.

At least he has his own t-shirt available now. Gonna snatch that up when I get the scratch.

Re: Eduardo

Yes, yes! Eduardo is a great guy! He's my most absolute favorite Foster's character! :)

And he should get his own episode in season five. By the way, when I saw that part in The Big Cheese when the big guy was being filmed naked, I was totally surprised. At least he didn't have any hot spots.

Sumshine 904 11-24-2006 07:52 PM

OMG Eduardo's so adorable and sweet! If he was real I'd adopt him in a heart beat! (Wilt too but this thread's about Eduardo =3)

To be honest, when I first saw Eduardo on the pilot, I wasn't so fond of him. But the big purple guy just grew on my like a bunch of fungus! (I know bad example but it's true) I wish I had an Eduardo plushie... XP

The bloo 11-28-2006 11:53 AM

Edwardu is kinda cool

CG 11-28-2006 02:42 PM

Eduardo is very neat! He's still my favourite, and having finally seen just why and how he was created in the movie was great. Plus his friendship with Nina, as I've said elsewhere, was a beautiful thing to behold. That she could still become the sweet little girl she was when Eduardo was around, whilst still being a tough cop the rest of the time was great.

I think actually seeing his relationship with Nina was one of the best Eduardo moments I have ever seen, the movie really helped me like Eduardo even more and I find him even more of a lovable guy after seeing for why he was created and how he helped Nina and vise versa.

To me, this shows he's not a pansy or a cry baby or anything of that sort. It does show he's a coward, but a nice guy as well and I think that's what matters. Being a coward isn't the greatest personality trait to live with, but I think his overall teddy bearish attitude is what makes him so great.

Eduardo 01-21-2007 04:19 PM

In appreciation of Eduardo

:-[ Today in appreciation of Eduardo I made tacos with potatoes in them and listened to the Spanish radio channel while wearing my Eduardo shirt.:-/

Ub3rD4n 04-28-2007 07:12 PM

I used to think that Eduardo was good, not great, but I realise now that he fulfils his potential as a main character. Who Let The Dogs In, Land of The Fleas and especially Eddie Monster, all great performances! That's why I'd like to see more episodes starring Eduardo.

fosters-fan 05-07-2007 05:37 PM

Hey, maybe if we're lucky.... "The Buck Swaps Here" might feature Eduardo as the main character of the episode!

Seriously. It says that he's the one who finds the hundred dollar bill.

fosters-fan 05-21-2007 04:10 PM

And it did! :)

Chaos Wielder 05-22-2007 08:49 PM

Yeah, it certainly did! However, I didn't really get the enjoyment out of the episode like I should have since I had the tv turned down and everything (don't ask why! I just had to do it! :P). But Ed's character really shined in that episode, in my opinion.

As I've said before Ed seems to be the type of character who looks large and frightening on the outside, but is really a cuddly cutie on the inside and that is what is so great about him. ;)

basilsunshine 07-09-2007 04:59 PM

Eduardo was so adorable in the new short, "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow."
His akwardness all the time just makes me laugh.

Anyway...he made the invasion episode one of my top favorites.

Lynnie 07-10-2007 07:23 PM

Potatoes!

I just saw this ad on TV and immediately thought of Ed. Besides, he LOVES potatoes! Think he?d like attending this event?

The Style and Taste Festival presents Potatoes!
Celebrating everything Potatoes!
Meet real potato celebrities!
(shows three guys in potato costumes wearing ?hip? cloths and ?bling?)
Create your own Tater-tops, and works of art! (shows carved potatoes, painted potatoes, and other decorated potatoes)
Build a Potato Racecar, and compete on the Spud Speedway! (shows painted potatoes with wheels attached to them, and shows them rolling past a scenic country landscape)
And of course eat potatoes!
Come celebrate Potatoes with us this weekend!

Woah man, was that real? Haha.
8D

Cassini90125 07-11-2007 06:11 PM

Oh, man, if that was a real event I would love to go. It might be a little overwhelming for Eduardo, I think, but if he could get past his fears he'd have a great time... and probably gain 40 pounds. 8D

There's a good question. We know the big guy likes potatoes, yeah, but how does he like them? What's his favorite recipe? Mashed, scalloped, fries, chips, what? Or does he just eat 'em raw, right out of the sack, like they were apples? My guess would be chips, without extra flavors. (If you've never tried one raw, by the way, go for it; they're very good uncooked. :))

antgirl1 07-11-2007 09:02 PM

There was an AD where Ed lists the many ways he enjoys a potato. Fried, roasted, mashed, au gratin, chips, baked, etc...XD

Lynnie 07-11-2007 09:12 PM

Yup, that ad was real. I could hardly believe it myself. Sounds silly, but I'm sure it'd be fun, especially with the kids. And the food I'm sure would be good. I like potatoes, too. :-/

I remember that ad! He was doing a sort of parody of the scene from Forrest Gump. It's been a while since I've seen it, though.

basilsunshine 07-12-2007 04:27 AM

Yeah! That would be pretty fun. Especially for Eduardo. I can imagine him dragging Wilt there or something. :wiltshock:
