The article states clearly that it's a list of characters from the years 2000-2007, aka this decade alone. That is why you don't see Daphne or the Sailor Moon girls or Lola Bunny or any other characters that were from PREVIOUS decades. I haven't checked the site yet, but from the looks of it, I'm fairly sure there are "top cartoon girls" lists for previous decades. It also states that it's a list of characters who are of "legal" age; hence why there are no characters from Kim Possible or Teen Titans.

Aside from Frankie, I'm not really familiar with the listed characters or the shows they are from, but I can see the appeal most of them have. Faye and Haruko don't surprise me seeing their huge fanbases. There are a few characters I'm surprised weren't listed(any of the girls from Drawn Together), but I'm just glad that Frankie made the list. Maybe next, we'll see Frankie in a "top cartoon girls" list from IGN or UGO...?

And I apologize for the mini-tangent, but please don't forget that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Disagreeing is fine, but I feel personally bothered by statements such as "How could anyone feel any attraction to so-and-so". I'd like it if we could get back to praising our beloved redhead girl, instead of bashing and criticizing other girls.

The only chick that deserved that list was Frankie. Nice to see her & Foster's getting recongnized.

Oh no, I wasn't at all intending to criticize other people's tastes in animated women, I just meant the list seemed a tad confusing compared to the general web talk of favored animated girls that I've heard.

And like I also said, this is a big step for Frankie and it's showing she's certainly getting some attention. I think this and especially the comic book with her "evil twin" is showing her character is at least getting some kind of attention.

I also think it's funny that a young kid imagined someone like Frankie in regards to the comic book, in a way, it shows that Frankie IS being seen as an attractive figure even to younger people.

This isn't by any means an exact science I just thought it was interesting and something worth pointing out.

Because when the guys DO accept them for what they are, someone dumps pig's blood on them during the prom, and they murder everybody with telekinetic powers.

Those poor girls.

Well I don't think anyone's going to do that to Frankie anytime soon. And if even they did, psychic powers or not, Frankie would make sure there'd be HELL to pay. And on a semi-unrelated note I just wanted to point something out.

This is my one THOUSANDTH post and I purposely saved it right here, in my favorite thread for my favorite character, the lovely Frankie foster :D. Proof that I just can't shut up about her.

Here's hoping for a 1000 more, if that's even possible.

I spent hours making a music video about her and many other girls I gab about, I assure you, I won't be shutting up about her anytime soon :).
