I told him in a reply that "You can't make cookies with those ingrediants!" and he replied something along the lines of a defense of his recipe, in a one lined sentence and about 4-5 lined paragraph. So I had him send the ingrediants and recipe to my place and I tried to make the cookies with them.

It tasted like crap. XDD

They're an "acquired" taste. :bloocross:

Early this morning I had a short one where a spambot had registered and was leaving spam messages on everyone's profile pages. They'd all been deleted by the recipients though so I don't know what they said. For some odd reason I had a feeling that the messages were about discount watches. Beats me why.

Sparky 08-18-2009 01:12 PM

Last night I dreamt that spambots were posting in the staff section of the forum. Spambots were literally hacking the forum to make themselves staff, then spamming the staff board. Not to mess up the site, not to steal people's information...just to post ads.

Thinking about it, I fear that hacking spambots may actually be a possibility for the future. :P

Did you ban them or anything? Whenever I dream about misbehaviour on the forum I almost never seem to be able to do anything about it. :P

Sparky 08-18-2009 02:43 PM

Well yeah I banned them, plus I had to update the forum and go in and change all the passwords etc. Actually most of the dream was about me trying to get the rest of the staff set up with the new passwords.

Lately, I've been having Foster's dreams too. My dreams were about crossovers between Foster's and this show called "Total Drama Island/Action",
which I thought was cool. :D

I thought up a Foster's version of the show, plus my OCs are in it. I've been having these dreams ever since "Total Drama Island" premeired, just so I wouldn't feel sad that Foster's ended. You know?:P

Last night I dreamed that we got a new member named CMDC. He logged in and started a thread titled "OH WOW! OH WOW! OH WOW!", which is what his first post said, too. Taranchula responded with "This is stupid" and locked the thread, and a little later Sparky banned CMDC. That's the whole dream; short but weird.

I went to bed last night remembering when my dad and I would transport me and my stuff to/from Texas while I was in college. It was usually a fun 12 hour drive, and sometimes we had a moving van that couldn't drive very fast so we'd have to spend the night somewhere along the way. So I dreamt that we were doing that again, and instead of stopping by a hotel for the night, Craig and Lauren had us stay with them. Lauren wanted to fix a nice dinner for us, so she went grocery shopping and I went with her to help her get the stuff. But before checking out, she went back and put a lot of food away. I asked her why she was doing that, and she said she didn't want to spend that much money. It sounded like they were having financial problems, so I asked if there was anything I could do to help. And she said I could look up a recipe for "E-biscuits" on the internet so she could make them for dinner. She added I could just do a search for "E" and the recipe should come up among the first results. So when we got home, I searched for "E" on my dad's laptop, and sure enough, the second result that came up was for "E-biscuits". I tried to print the recipe, but my dad's printer had a paper jam. so I fixed it. Then I remember sitting down at a table, and noticing Craig had cut his hair. It was very neat and tidy. :o And from there I remember going out back where I guess they had a grapefruit orchard, and I met a guy driving a tractor through it. And that's all I remember.

It was weird, and a little unsettling. I sure hope they're not having financial difficulties. :bloosad:

Sparky 01-17-2010 09:25 PM

I've had a couple dreams about them. Yours wins for oddness though.

They're probably okay! Lauren just got an awesome new job.

Howard 01-18-2010 05:23 PM

I dreamed I was jamming in a club. My buddy Darren was on bass, and Jeff was on drums (they are both musician friends, but I have never jammed with their bands). I happen to look out into the audience and I saw Craig:craig: at a table watching us. He looked at me and gave me a thumbs up. I just kept up the playing. That was odd.:terrconf:

Mr_Bloo_Veins 03-12-2010 04:36 PM

Oooh! I just remembered something!

Back when I was 12 years old or so, and I was just getting into Foster's, I had a dream that there was this episode where Bloo was trying to get revenge on Bendy. All I remember is that it was really grimdark and edgy. Hey, I was 12. That stuff was cool to me then 8D

Cassini90125 06-21-2010 03:35 PM

I had a great one last night, and it was about the show itself rather than personally interacting with the characters. The dream was about an unadvertised one hour special, which I discovered about five minutes before airtime. The plot was mostly about the character's pasts and little details about their biographies; basically it was the cast swapping stories about their lives. It was in high definition, too; I've never seen Frankie drawn with so much detail. I didn't see the entire show but I did catch parts of four segments, each dealing with a particular character; Frankie, Mr. Herriman, Wilt, and Coco, in that order. Mr. Herriman's segment was the one I saw the most of and took place long before Foster's was founded. Madame Foster was in the segment, as was her husband, whom Mr. Herriman spent a great deal of time annoying, constantly telling him to "Be good to my creator, young man!" or something to that effect. Frankie's segment seemed to be about balancing college and her duties at the house, Wilt's segment focused on a typical day with Jordan in his old neighborhood, and Coco's story had her speaking coherent English in earlier times and inexplicably included a car chase. As the show ended I had the impression that this was something Craig had written and produced especially for the fans, to answer some long-standing questions about the characters lives and what makes them tick. The dream ended with me turning off my DVR and thinking that I'd best log in here, because this special was going to be the hot topic for the next few days.

Dang pleasant dream; who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and it'll come true.

Howard 06-21-2010 05:43 PM

I wish it would come true - right now!:herriman:

The only downside to episode dreams like these is waking up and realizing that it wasn't real. Seriously, right after watching a dream episode, I go "Oh I HAVE to say something about this on NF" but as soon as the post is done I wake, and want to scream because it was fake.

But I just thought of something, though. What if they WERE real episodes, but only seeable in dreams, kinda like how Futurama has advertisements even in dreams. That'd be so awesome, if it was so. :D

Cell_Phone_guy 06-22-2010 07:22 PM

Here are my previous Foster's dreams from the old forum:

1. I was once again in Foster's, this time, during the episode Go Goo Go, and Goo, Mac, Bloo, Frankie, and Herriman were in the main foyer of the house and Goo was creating tons of IF's. Frankie and Herriman were slightly annoyed with Mac for bringing his "girlfriend" back to Foster's. Mac was trying to deny it, but they didn't listen. I told Mac I believed him and told Frankie, Herriman, and Bloo that Goo wasn't Mac's girlfrined, but they didn't seem to pay much attention.

I then helped get the big purple worm thing that Goo created after meeting Edwardo to a cage with the other extremasaurs. That's all I can remember

2. I was in Foster's when Bloo was having a wild party a-la "Partying is such sweet soiree" except Madame Foster was there, and was enjoying herself. Herriman was around and was trying to order everyone, but was basically ignored. Mac was a little more tolerant of the party, but then, he started consuming lots of sugar again, and I'm sure you can guess what happened next...

Cell_Phone_guy 10-25-2011 07:24 AM

For the first time in ages I had a Foster's dream:

Basically, Bloo somehow got hold of a bazooka. And with it, he blew a large hole in the side of an apartment building! That's all I remember.

Sparky 11-18-2012 11:59 AM

I had a Foster's dream last night, but unfortunately I don't remember details. I just know it was mostly Terrence. I haven't watched the show in quite a while so it was nice to see that kid again.

Imaginary Dream 11-18-2012 01:49 PM

I had a Foster's dream a while back, and somehow I was Bloo. 8D

I remember climbing on top of a hot air balloon the five were in and then pulled out a needle... Bye bye balloon and a good long talk from Mr. Herriman!:herriman:

Then I finally do a good deed Mr. H is no where to be found!::)
Go figure. A day in the life of Bloo. :bloosmirk:

Edit: I also had a faint dream not to long ago of the inside of House realistic detail. It was GORGEOUS! I can't recall any IF but I'm sure they were there.

AcornBulb 11-19-2012 12:21 AM

Wow, never had a FH dream, or at least I don't remember any. Your dreams, folks, seem interesting, indeed. ;)

Imaginary Dream 11-19-2012 03:56 AM

It comes from watching too many cartoons I suppose. 8D

AcornBulb 11-19-2012 10:15 AM

Or thinking about it too much, I guess. :bloosmirk:

Imaginary Dream 11-19-2012 12:47 PM

I guess that's true with me. Writing about Foster's sure makes you think about them.

Imaginary Dream 11-21-2012 05:00 AM

Yet again I had another Fosters-related dream! This time it was me thinking of new Foster's story lines. I still remember one that has to do with a certain blob having to visit the dentist (perhaps cavities from all those sweets?)::) I'm not sure that could make a whole episode though.

I wonder if this kind of dream ever happened to Craig or Lauren?

AcornBulb 11-24-2012 02:54 AM

It's very possible. I suppose they were so into the cartoon that they actually had some dreams about it.

Imaginary Dream 11-24-2012 05:56 PM

True.8D

LeoHoffmeister 05-13-2013 08:26 AM

Actually,it is even more hard to dream with the thing or whatever you like a lot, than other random things, sad, but true :/
If i could dream about such things everyday it would be great. t~t

*Never had a dream about foster's home,well,only once,i could 'see' Eduardo,but it was like.. 2 dream seconds..? :' ( *

Macfan123 03-20-2014 02:38 AM

I had dream where Mac was in the haunted mansion holiday but he was sugar crazed & only wearing underwear.:macwor:

KazooBloo 12-06-2016 11:51 AM

I remember one from around eight years ago that I was Eduardo and I teamed up with Coco and Wilt to save Mac and Bloo. Can't remember more than that.

Oxnvat 07-25-2023 07:16 AM

Last night I dreamt I was watching a Foster's Home documentary with my niece. Not very interesting as far as dreams are concerned :P

Sparky 07-26-2023 11:19 AM

Oh heck that reminds me, I had a Foster's dream the other day!

I dreamt that we went back to Comic-Con (haven't been since 2009) and that on the last day there was going to be some kind of Foster's related panel. I brought a videocamera and on each day I was recording snippets of stuff around the con. And then in the evening of each day there was some kind of panel where you could go and people would speak and show clips on a screen and for some weird dream reason I was sneaking in at the beginning and hooking up my camera and playing my completely unedited random videocamera clips and totally getting away with it because I guess they were so disorganised that they didn't realise that wasn't part of the panel? And on the first few days I guess my clips were entertaining enough that people were enjoying it, plus it was pretty short.

Well then the last day came and of course most of my recordings were of the Foster's content and so my clip tape for the day was pretty long and kinda rambling, so unedited it kinda dragged. And for some reasohn I STILL decided to sneak in the late panel and start playing it, only this time the audience was quickly bored and started complaining. I had wandered away from where the camera was hooked up and ran into some con staff who were trying to find the source of the video so I tried to get back to the camera to shut it off but got hopelessly lost and then I woke up.

WHY

Oh and no I don't even remember what the Foster's panel(s) that day were about. :bloobleh:

Mew 07-27-2023 09:34 AM

Heh, now I'm all nostalgic for the old Comic-Con threads from back in the day. Those were always fun to read through. It all seems so huge and crazy now :O From what I've heard/seen of it, anyway.
