Mythbusters

Frankie should watch this, because the myth that redheads are more tolerant to pain than normal people is busted! She should be proud. :-*

Finally got to see the first two episodes of the new Cartoon Network series Regular Show, this show pretty much answers the question of what a version of Aqua Teen Hunger Force for the younger set would be like.

Because it was pretty much total nonstop insanity from start to finish, but it was the good kind of insanity in which it was able to keep my interest from the whole time without making me stop and think "Should I be laughing at this?" every five seconds.

I guess it was the copious amounts of 1980's references that helped to keep me engaged. (YMMV)

CN does have a small way to go before getting back to the creative high it was running at during the middle half of the last decade, but shows like this and Adventure Time are steps in the right direction.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Another episode of Regular Show, the fact that they were able to secure the music rights to Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend" has just propelled this show onto my all time greatest list.

(Man it doesn't take much to make me happy now, does it? ;) )

Titan Maximum on YouTube

I think this is my new favourite show. Considering that this is made by the same guys that did Robot Chicken, don't be too surprised about what to expect with this show. It's essentially a spoof of the Giant Robot shows, mainly Voltron. I've only seen a couple of episodes, but so far, it's got me interested. If you can get past most of the crude humour, it's actually quite funny.

And I don't care how perverted this sounds, Sasha Caylo is hands down the HOTTEST character on the show. When she enters the garage in the pilot episode... wow.

The Kentucky-South Carolina game last night. It's always a joy to see the evil genius Steve Spurrier get beaten (score was 31-28).

The latest episode of South Park, leave it to Parker and Stone to do a My Neighbor Totoro parody involving Cthulhu.

Brilliant.

The Baltimore-Atlanta NFL game last night. It was on NFL Network nationally and on our My Network TV affiliate locally. Falcons took it, 26-21.
