Hey, guys...guess what? I got not just one snow day in October, but FOUR! I haven't been here lately, because my power went off Thursday night, and didn't come back on until last night (Monday night)! Take a gander at what my backyard looked like on October 13:

Did anyone else get hit with snow yet?

Illinois usually gets snow like yours in November or December.

No snow in Ottawa yet, just a heck of a lot of rain.

If we get any snow, it would be anytime between December and February on average. That's a nice image, by the way.

I never get snow down here, but it was raining a couple days ago.

I never get snow either, which is why my family and I go to North Carolina at Christmas time. I don't like to play in it, though. Too cold.

That is a lot of snow. Very pretty.
Still very mild here, lots of rain and pollution. .

Yeah, usually it's still a little mild at this time of the year here. All of that snow is melted now, by the way. School's now closed till the end of the week and Homecoming's been postponed because there are still places without power:(

oh you're so lucky. I unfortunately have no snow, but it sure is cold enough to snow! Ahhh! I love snow...the way it glistens, and how the world is so quiet, and how perfect it is still untouched... Possibly one of my favorite things to do is lay on your back in snow (somewhere open) and stare into the sky and listen to the beautiful silence... *sigh*
