It has to be...
Kazoo! I mean, think about it... It's Bloo's last name, and one of Mac's roles is a parent like in "Mac Daddy"... It'd kinda make sense.

I've always assumed that Mac's last name was something along the line of Mackenzie or something else, er, Mac-oriented. And that it's actually his first name that goes unrevealed. But that's just me.

It is a possibility. I suppose we'll find out eventually, perhaps next season.

Hmm, maybe it's Cracken (lol, Mac Cracken)? Maybe, he's a "Foster" himself (but not related to Frankie and Madame F.)? :P But seriously, I am interested in knowing what it is, if it's to be revealed at some point.

Ha, the Mac Cracken would make sense, since Craig made Mac a younger version of himself on accident. XD

Seperated at birth maybe?

Kraken's good. My favorite fan-given last name for Mac was Kraigen (I *think* that was it), by delete-lover. But I don't see why Mac would ever be given a canon last name.

The "Mackenzie" theory is cool, but that wouldn't explain why his mother and brother call him that. My personal theory is that his last name is something embarassing, so he and Terrence never mention it. This is completely baseless, just soemthing amusing I like to believe.:)

Kind of bolsters the "Kazoo" theory right there. 8D

I've heard a lot of possible names over the last three years but until we hear from Craig I'm sticking with "Cassiman". :)

Mac's last name bothers me since I been watching Foster's from day one.

But I think Cracken is the fitting last name for Mac, since the creator did say the main character is based on himself.

Well I don't know what's Mac's last name so I think I gonna guess it might be "McBigsalot" or something else, I don't know. :terrconf:

So maybe we will all know what's Mac's last name in another episode or season, so lets stay intune and find out. :goo:

Keep in mind that in naming mac, you name Terrence, too.

Mac and Terrence. Is there an associations here that may give a clue?

I'm thinking Cartney or McCartney
as a homage to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Paul_McCartney_on_stage_in_Prague.jpg

I have looked up 'Mac' on one baby names website, and it says it is a Scottish name meaning 'son'. It can also be short for 'Macaulay', which means 'son of righteousness'. I can imagine that could be his full first name. Does it suggest he os of Scottish heritage perhaps?

One more thing- since it has been confirmed that his parents are divorced, I recon Mac's current surname is his mothers.
