"When I'm 64" by the Beatles always reminds me of how Madame Foster and Herriman are still best friends even though they're both way older. It fits them sort of, only they aren't in love...:macwor:. If I knew how to make an AMV, I would use it.

There's this really lame song that use to remind me of Wilt, if I was ever forced to listen to it. It was "Move Along" by the All-American Rejects. :wiltshock:.

There are so many songs that remind me of Frankie that I can't list them all, but the one that always tops the list is Waiting For A Girl Like You by Foreigner. :-*

"Stuck in the Middle With You" by Stealer's Wheel reminds me of Wilt, and how Eduardo always drags him places. And how he's just always stuck in the middle of everything, :wiltshock:. I think they put this song on a Wendy's commercial or something, ??.

"Catch the Wind" -- Donovan

In the chilly hours and minutes,
Of uncertainty, I want to be,
In the warm hold of your loving mind.

To feel you all around me,
And to take your hand, along the sand,
Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind.

When sundown pales the sky,
I wanna hide a while, behind your smile,
And everywhere I'd look, your eyes I'd find.

For me to love you now,
Would be the sweetest thing, 'twould make me sing,
Ah, but I may as well, try and catch the wind.

When rain has hung the leaves with tears,
I want you near, to kill my fears
To help me to leave all my blues behind.

For standin' in your heart,
Is where I want to be, and I long to be,
Ah, but I may as well, try and catch the wind.

It reminds me of a pairing. (But I won't go there since I understand pairings freak some users out and I don't want to get yelled at by the admins!) So I got nothing...

Travis Tritt has a song called "Ten Feet Tall and Bulletproof." The title (not the lyrics so much) reminds me of Wilt. Other than that...

"Uptown Girl" (Billy Joel) sorta reminds me of Frankie
"Tomorrow" from Annie is definately a Wilt song. (Why hasn't anyone considered that yet?)
"Man! (I Feel Like a Woman)" (Shania Twain) is definately a Frankie song. I can so easily picture her going out and having fun like it says in the song!
"Please Remember Me" (Tim McGraw) could so easily be about any of the imaginary friends-- it's like them asking their creators, "Please don't forget me, because I won't forget you."
"Bada&& Rig" (Michael Faubion-- he's a regionally famous singer in my part of Alaska): It reminds me of the bus! (The song is basically all about the cars in the little town I live in. It's big and it's ugly / It gobbles up the gas-- it just seems to fit. Don't get me wrong-- I love the bus's paint job! It makes my parents' big orange pickup truck seem boring!)
"Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" (BJ Thomas): This is another Wilt song-- its really bubbly and optimistic.
"Love's the Only House" (Martina McBride): This song just describes the house in general so well-- it's all about having a safe place to go when you think the world's turned on you, which is basically Foster's philosophy.
"Home" (Daughtry): It's all about going home, which represents the opposite of what "Love's the Only House" is-- going to a permanent home, the place where I belong.
"Keep on the Sunny Side" (The Whites, from O Brother, Where Art Thou?: Look at the title, think of Wilt. That's all I'm sayin'...
"Believe" (Josh Grobin from The Polar Express soundtrack): This about that childlike faith that tends to be supplemented or resurected when you watch Foster's.
"That's What Friends Are For" (Dionne Warwick): The title says it all!
"Faith of the Heart" (theme for Star Trek: Enterprise): Again, it's about having faith and believing.
"The Best is Yet To Come" (Frank Sinatra): Again, the title says it all-- anticipation of the good days to come!
"My Way" (Frank Sinatra): Another Wilt one-- taking everything the world's thrown at you and saying, "I beat this, what else ya got?"

Sorry-- I made a soundtrack! (I pulled all these songs from my iTunes, so I have a weird mix of music I listen to.)
---
Sorry, thought up a new one:
* "Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)" (Taylor Hicks): This is pretty self-explanatory-- as long as the Foster's gang have each other, they'll be at home.

Thanks for the reassurance. I felt bad for taking up that much cyberspace. Wow, I'm not the only one who listens to those songs! I don't feel so alone anymore!

Alas, I don't have a Foster's soundtrack. :( When I said I made a soundtrack, I meant that I had so many songs on the list it was practically a soundtrack-length post. (Hey, is there a Foster's soundtrack out there? If there is, <singsong voice> I know what I'm asking my friend for Christmas this year...)

I'm gonna pull up my iTunes and make that playlist now!

"You're So Vain" by Carly Simon reminds me a little of Berry and Bloo. Guess who's so vain? 8-)

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you

I was listening to Heavenly Star from the Lumines II game and it made me think of Bloo's and Mac's friendship... except the parts that suggests more than friends  I feel like it NEEDS to be made into an amv! ...b-tagged the things that especially made me think of them  <3

I hear you whispering surrounded in silence
Blue vibration
I hear the waves singing in the distance
Pure isolation
I smile into the distance faraway from you
We're in resolution
I'm Dreaming, touching, breathing side by side, yeh
Dive into the sky

Let's get away, fly away
I found the path to paradise
Shining spiral of gold
Take my hand, find our way out

Heavenly stars above
Just believe what's in your heart
No border between us
I can always feel you inside

Where ever we are

I see you, feel you, I'm your creation
Ever lasting affection
Life's an endless spiral going round
Yes, we are in love

Let's get away, fly away
I found the path to paradise
Shining spiral of gold
Take my hand, find our way out

Heavenly stars above
Just believe what's in your heart
No boarder between us
I can always feel you inside

Where ever we are

Let's get away, fly away
I'm feeling raindrops on my face
Sun shines through the clouds yeh
Rainbow all around us

I spread my wings, fly away
The wind sweeps me off my feet
Blowing me away yeh
Trees whispering to me

I'm feeling free now

Let's get away, fly away
I found the path to paradise
Shining spiral of gold
Take my hand, find our way out

Heavenly stars above
Just believe what's in your heart
No boarder between us
Nothing can divide us

Where ever we are

Got a new one! (Man, I just can't stop...)

"Life is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me)" by Reunion reminds me of Goo. I say this not because of the song's content or the title, but because they sing the song really, really, really fast. In fact, you can barely tell what the words are. It reminds me of the way Goo talks. :gooblab:

You got it half right. The band behind that song was indeed the Police, though the actual title is "Message in a Bottle" ...and it was a hundred billion bottles at the end. ;)

Still, I like the Coco connection. :)

"When We Die" by Bowling For Soup, reminds me of Wilt and Jordan and their relationship after all those years of being seperated. Here are the lyrics:

Well, I know that it's early
And it's too hard to think.
And the broken empty bottles
Are reminder in the sink.
But I thought that I should tell you
If it's not to late to say.
I can put back all the pieces
They just might not fit the same.

Cause nothing's worth losing
Especially the chance to make it right.

And I know that we're gonna be fine.
And the tattooed mistakes
Are gonna fade over time.
As long as we live, time passes by.
And we won't get it back when we die.

Well I know it's been years now
And I don't look the same.
And the hopes and dreams you had for me
You thought went down the drain.
And the room feels so empty
where my pictures used to be.
And I can't say that I blame you,
But you can't blame me.

Cause nothing's worth losing
Especially the chance to make it right.

And I know that we're gonna be fine.
And the tattooed mistakes
Are gonna fade over time.
As long as we live, time passes by.
And we won't get it back when we die.

Come over.
Come over.

Cause I gotta know,
If I am doing this all on my own.

Come over.
Come over.

How can I show you if you're not here?

And I know that we're gonna be fine.
And the tattooed mistakes
Are gonna fade over time.
As long as we live, time passes by.
And we won't get it back when we die.

And I know that we're gonna be fine.
(and I know that we're gonna be fine)
And the tattooed mistakes
Are gonna fade over time.
As long as we live, time passes by.
And we won't get it back when we die.

Come over.
Come over.

Come over.
Come over.
Come over.
Come over.
(I gotta know)
And we won't get it back when we die.
(well, I know that it's early...)

If I ever buy the song, since I've only ever heard it on youtube and KerrangTV, I am so totally making a video.... if someone hasn't done it already, of course...

Yeah. You're right about that! XD

Anyways, I think the song 'Best of Friends' from Fox and the Hound reminds me a lot of Mac's relationship to the Foster's gang. Same goes for Randy Newman's 'You've Got A Friend in Me' from Toy Story. ;)

Prince Charming from FMD always makes me think of my favoritest Queen song, "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy".

I can dim the lights and sing you songs full of sad things
We can do the tango just for two
I can serenade and gently play on your heart strings
Be your valentino just for you

Ooh love - ooh loverboy
What're you doin' tonight, hey boy
Set my alarm, turn on my charm
That's because I'm a good old-fashioned lover boy

Ooh let me feel your heartbeat (Grow faster, faster)
Ooh ooh can you feel my love heat
Come on and sit on my hot-seat of love
And tell me how do you feel right after-all
I'd like for you and I to go romancing
Say the word - your wish is my command

Ooh love - ooh loverboy
What're you doin' tonight, hey boy
Write my letter
Feel much better
And use my fancy patter on the telephone

When I'm not with you
I think of you always
(I miss those long hot summer nights)
I miss you
When I'm not with you
Think of me always
Love you - love you

Hey boy where do you get it from
Hey boy where did you go ?
I learned my passion in the good old
Fashioned school of loverboys

Dining at the Ritz we'll meet at nine precisely
One two three four five six seven eight nine o' clock
I will pay the bill, you taste the wine
Driving back in style, in my saloon will do quite nicely
Just take me back to yours that will be fine (Come on and get it)

Ooh love, (There he goes again just like a good old-fashioned lover boy)
Ooh loverboy
What're you doin' tonight, hey boy
Everything's all right
Just hold on tight
That's because I'm a good old-fashioned fashioned lover boy

Getting back to the Police, there's a song in their repertoire called "So Lonely" which reminds me just a little bit of Crackers. It's a terrific self-pity song about having to face constant rejection.

"Duchess" by Genesis makes me think of...erm, it'll come back to me later. >:(

(Actually, the term "Duchess" itself isn't used once within the song, but she's made a big enough imprint on my mind for the title alone to do all the talking. And it is a song about falling from popular grace, so maybe Duchess herself, who evidentally considers living at Foster's a step backwards, could find some kinship with it).

The ending song they sing on LazyTown makes me think of Cheese 8D

Bing Bang Diggariggadong
The first thing that I say after I wake up
Bing Bang Diggariggadong
I say those words before I go to sleep

Get on up,it's time to dance, yeah
It's so much fun being up on our feet

So we go up up,do the jump
move around and clap your hands together
Down,down turn around
Having fun is what it's all about

move around and clap your hands together
Down,down turn around

Made in Heaven by Toshi of X Japan reminds me A LOT of how an IF feels when they are given up by their creators.

(This is a translation by the way, and I intend to use this for a Foster's MV)

Yesterday is lost
And tomorrow has yet to be found
Because of the present
I believe these things, and I open the door

Certainly I'll be around
...Sunrise
When your heart realizes it
You will be able to hear my voice

Can't you feel it, even if we're hurt
The time when we'll embrace
Our broken tears and everything
Your love...my love...
We're the heaven

There is nothing here
Here is nowhere
And now, what I'm looking at
Is the only answer

It's overflowing in your eyes
...Moonlight
Even if our words differ
We have unchanging dreams

Can't you feel it, even if it's sorrowful
The time when we'll forgive
The lasting loneliness and everything
Your love...my love...
We're the heaven

The wind is carried in the endless sky
The hidden love in my heart is certainly limitless

Can't you feel it, even if we're hurt
The time when we'll embrace
Our broken tears and everything
Your love...my love...
We're the heaven

I found an amazing one for Wilt: "Stand" by Rascall Flatts:

You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
Alone and helpless
Like you've lost your fight
But you'll be alright
You'll be alright

'Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend 'til you break
'Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand (then you stand)
(Yeah) then you stand (then you stand)

Life's like a novel with the end ripped out
The edge of a canyon with only one way down
Take what you're given before it's gone
And start holdin' on
Keep holdin' on

'Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend 'til you break
'Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand (then you stand)

Every time you get up
And get back in the race
One more small piece of you
Starts to fall into place, yeah
Woo hoo

'Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend 'til you break
'Cause it's all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand (then you stand)

Yeah, then you stand, yeah
Yeah, baby
Woo hoo, woo hoo, woo hoo
Then you stand, yeah

I swear, if I tried to put the lyrics that especially connected to Wilt in bold, practically every line would be in bold. I'm listening to the song right now, and I feel like there's this immense rush of... strength and comfort, if that makes any sense.

This song really fits Wilt because even though he looks like he's down for the count, he gets back up and keeps swinging. Case in point: a little hour-long cartoon entitled Good Wilt Hunting.

I know what I'll be listening to when I need a pick-me-up. :D

I reckon Superman by Lazlo Bane (theme from Scrubs) reminds me of Frankie, because of her never-ending work as the caretaker at Foster's.

Out the door just in time
Head down the 405
Gotta meet the new boss by 8 am

The phone rings in the car
The wife is working hard
She's running late tonight again

Well
I know what I've been told
You gotta work to feed the soul
But I can't do this all on my own
No, I know I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman

no

You've got your love online
You think you're doing fine
But you're just plugged into the wall

And that deck of tarot cards
Won't get you very far
There ain't no hand to break your fall

Well
I know what I've been told
You gotta know just when to fold
But I can't do this all on my own
No, I know I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman

That's right
== harmonica solo ==

You've crossed the finish line
Won the race but lost your mind
Was it worth it after all

I need you here with me
Cause love is all we need
Just take a hold of the hand that breaks the fall

Well I know what I've been told
Gotta break free to break the mold
But I can't do this all on my own
No I can't do this all on my own
I know that I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman

Someday we'll be together
Somedaaay
Someday we'll be together
Somedaaay
I'm no Superman

I'm probably the only person out there who'd think this, but "Desperado" by The Eagles reminds me SO MUCH of Wilt.

Desperado, why dont you come to your senses?
You been out ridin fences for so long now
Oh, youre a hard one
I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin you
Can hurt you somehow

Don you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
Shell beat you if shes able
You know the queen of heats is always your best bet

Now it seems to me, some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the ones that you cant get

Desperado, oh, you aint gettin no youger
Your pain and your hunger, theyre drivin you home
And freedom, oh freedom well, thats just some people talkin
Your prison is walking through this world all alone

Dont your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky wont snow and the sun wont shine
Its hard to tell the night time from the day
Youre loosin all your highs and lows
Aint it funny how the feeling goes away?

Desperado, why dont you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate
It may be rainin, but theres a rainbow above you
You better let somebody love you, before its too late

Bear with me-- I fell in love with this song just last night and the more I listen to it, the more I think of Wilt around the time of GWH. Maybe I am insane. I dunno. (Embrace the insanity, my friends. Embrace it!)

Yeah, it does! Although, I have to admit, it reminds me even more of my other favorite animated(or ANY) fictional character, Randall from Monsters, Inc.. I can see how it relates to Wilt, though. Even though Wilt is gentle and compassionate, there is a certain...I don't know..."coldness" or "distance" about him. He keeps his feelings, for the most part, very much to himself, and he's reluctant to really show affection, although I'd love to believe he FEELS it. He's also very, very slow to accept OTHERS' affection for HIM. It's like that scene in GWH when he and Jordan are finally reunited, and Jordan pulls up his own sleeve to show that old red, white and blue wrist band, that fell off of Wilt's mangled arm 30 years ago, to show that Jordan has held onto that one keepsake of the most influential person in his life for that long. Wilt almost tears up, but bites back on that emotion, and even when he does relent and hugs his creator, there's still this impression that he's holding back, not wanting to appear weak or something. He doesn't seem to want others to have feelings of affection for him, though hopefully, as his wounded spirit finally heals of the 30-year burden it's carried, Wilt will begin to open up to others more and more.

Oh, thank goodness I?m not the only one who sees the connection here! (I don?t exactly see the connection between Randall and "Desperado," though. It?s been a while since I?ve watched the movie though...) Wilt just seems like he keeps his feelings to himself because he doesn't want to burden other people with his well-being. I definitely think that he's capable of feeling affection; he, sadly, doesn't show it that often. I suppose that perhaps the reason Wilt is slow to ACCEPT affection is that maybe he thinks that eventually, he'll just let down the people who love him, so he doesn't quite beleive that someone is willing to love him. Although I do have to say that maybe it's a good thing Wilt didn't cry when he hugged Jordan, because I would've started crying and my parents would have asked, "Why are you crying?" and rolled their eyes at my show of emotion over such a tender moment IN A CARTOON. I think not crying might be a guy thing. <rolls eyes> The reason I thought that this song applied to Wilt was because it was almost like a plea to him to open up other people. Hopefully we'll more of that soon enough.

Part of Wilt's reluctance to show emotions, and especially to cry, is also a cultural issue. Men from his particular cultural background are taught from early childhood that crying is a sissy, weak thing to do, moreso even that most other men. Being "hard"(tough, impervious to weak emotions) is seen as a good thing. You will hear the phrase "man-up" used around here when someone is telling a guy to be tough and not let his emotions show or let anyone know that he's hurt. Since Wilt apparently was more or less the man of the house when he still lived with Jordan, he especially would have been under pressure to be strong, and even when Larry's weight came crashing down on his arm, and that basketball struck his eye, and later, when taking so much more abuse from his opponent, he's silent, though his face registers agony. It's like Wilt takes that whole "don't show your feelings" thing to the extreme, sometimes.

If you listen to the lyrics of "Desperado", listen for the line, "Don't you draw the Queen of Diamonds, boy, she'll cheat you if she's able; you know the Queen of Hearts is always your best bet. Seems to me some fine things have been laid upon your table, but you always want the ones that you can't get". The "Queen of Diamonds" is a reference to money and material wealth, vs. the "Queen of Hearts", or love/secure relationships. THAT, and the following words, are one of the reasons this song reminds me so much of Randall, someone who naively picked what he thought would make him wealthy and famous over things like friendship, and even though he had a secure job and WAS successful, still wanted more, more than he was really able to get, and wound up over his head by basically being suckered in by a slick boss's promise of success, not realizing that he was only being used. While not really part of this forum, most of his many(yeah, he does have a LOT of fans)fans speculate that IF he ever had a surviving family, he's estranged from them, choosing a career over relationships, and that's the real gist of that song-a plea for just such a person, someone who's pursuing fame and fortune while shutting out anyone who might love him, and as a result, forgetting how to love others, to stop and re-think their priorities before it's too late. In a nutshell, the song is saying that showing love for others, and allowing yourself to BE loved, is more important in the long-run that financial and material success.

Yes, I can see how culture would add to Wilt?s unwillingness to show emotion. I can definitely picture Wilt bottling everything up inside himself for Jordan?s benefit, and wanting to break down when he was so severely injured, and abused thirty some-odd years later during the rematch, but not wanting to look like a sissy. I feel this is emotionally unhealthy, but that is (A) my opinion and (B) another thread entirely.

I have to take a minute to say that I LOVE your analysis of the song, PBL. I mean, wow. * Keels over in awe * Moving on? After reading your explanation, I can see how this song connects to Randall-- very well-put. I suppose that when his boss told him, ?Sullivan was twice the scarer you?ll ever be,? he should have been tipped off to the fact that, Hey, maybe I?m being used here. But the pursuit of fame and success can blind you like that. (As a side note, I never really doubted that Randall has fans-- I ended up enjoying his character quite a bit and figure that EVERY character ha some sort of fan-base.) I tend to think of ?Desperado? the same way you do-- it?s a plea for someone to let love become a bigger part of his/her life, and that that?s the best thing in the world.

Okay, I now have a new idea to contribute to the thread in general: ?Manic Monday? by The Bangles reminds me of Frankie

Six o'clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal blue Italian stream

But I can't be late
'Cause then I guess I just won't get paid
These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made

CHORUS:
It's just another manic Monday
I wish it was Sunday
'Cause that's my funday
An I-don't-have-to-run day
It's just another manic Monday

Have to catch an early train
Got to be to work by nine
And if I had an aeroplane
I still couldn't make it on time

'Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out what I'm gonna wear
Blame it on the train
When the bus is already there

CHORUS
<There?s more, but the site I found only had this stuff>

I do believe that the song speaks for itself. ;)

Say that youll marry me
Sometimes carry me
And I will be there forever more
For you

And if you marry me
I will give everything
And I will do anything that you need
We do

Youll know, by the love in my eyes
And the beat of my heart
Ill be there

Youll know, cause youll never be lonely again
Anytime anywhere
This I promise
If you marry me

Promise youll stay with me
Well make some memories
And maybe a dream or two
Will come true, who knows

This I can say for sure
All that I have is yours
Youll never wonder where I stand
It shows

Youll know, by the love in my eyes
And the beat of my heart
Ill be there

Youll know, cause youll never be lonely again
Anytime anywhere
All I promise you I will be
If youll only say youll marry me

I wont ever forget these words
And Ill love you for all Im worth
If you say you will marry me
Wont you marry me

Marry me

It's how I honestly feel. :-*

Okay, so: My case is out of ordinary.
For about a day, I couldn't get out my head a melody and Frankie dancing to it. Best thing is, I don't know does the song like this exists? In my mind it's only ,,taco round, taco round" all the time, ,,sounds" like a disco melody. But it might be as well a child of my subconscious. Oh, and I am still hearing this song. Where? In my minds ears. ;p

Edit: I changed my mind, this reminds me of Mac and his promise to Bloo that he'll visit him everyday. :)

I hear the wind
Call my name
A sound that leads me home again
It sparks up the fire
A flame that still burns
To you, I will always return

I know the road is long
But where you are is home
Wherever you stay
I'll find the way

I'll run like the river
I'll follow the sun
I'll fly like an eagle
To where I belong

I can't stand the distance
I can't dream alone
I can't wait to see you
Yes, I'm on my way home

And now I know it's true
My every road leads to you
And in the hour of darkness
Your light gets me through

You run like the river
You shine like the sun
Yeah

You fly like an eagle
Yeah, you are the one

I've seen every sunset
And with all that I've learned
Oh...

It's to you
I will always
Always return.

For whatever reason, I imagine Wilt singing-a-long to Toto's "Africa."

I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
Shes coming in 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say, hurry boy, its waiting there for you

Chorus:
Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do whats right
Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure whats deep inside, frightened of this thing that Ive become

Chorus

(instrumental break)

Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you

Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa, I bless the rains down in Africa
I bless the rains down in Africa, I bless the rains down in Africa
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

I heard this at Price Rite while shopping this afternoon and immediately thought of Frankie. :-*

You are the woman that I've always dreamed of
I knew it from the start
I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart

It's not so much the things you say to me
It's not the things you do
It's how I feel each time you're close to me
That keeps me close to you

You are the woman that I've always dreamed of
I knew it from the start
I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart

It's not so much your pretty face I see
It's not the clothes you wear
It's more that special way you look at me
That always keeps me there

You are the woman that I've always dreamed of
I knew it from the start
I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart

It's hard to tell you all the love I'm feeling
That's just not my style
You've got a way to send my senses reeling
Every time you smile

You are the woman that I've always dreamed of
I knew it from the start
I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart
I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart

Of my heart
Oh oh of my heart

I can't remember if anyone picked it yet, but I pegged "Shining Star" by Earth Wind and Fire to be a pretty good Anthem for Wilt.

And The Mighty Mighty Bosstones song "The Impression That I Get" reminds me a lot about Eduardo.

Especially for lyrics such as this

I'm not a coward,
Ive just never been tested
Id like to think that if I was,
I would pass
Look at the tested and think there but for the grace go
I might be a coward,
I'm afraid of what I might find out.

I recently thought of this song for Frankie, primarily during her emotional experience in the "destination imagination" movie and felt it summed up her quite nicely. Particularly the first part about "in a way, I need a change from this burn out scene" showing how Frankie needed a break for a change. And i think the song also represents that no matter how bad Fosters gets, she always wants to come back to it.

"Shattered" by O.A.R

In a way, I need a change
From this burnout scene
Another time, another town, another everything
But it's always back to you
Stumble out in the night
From the pouring rain
Made the block, sat and thought
There's more I need
It's always back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break til I shatter?
Over the line, can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break; let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time
But I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

I had no idea that the night
Would take so damn long
Took it out, on the street
While the rain still falls
Push me back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break til I shatter?
Over the line, can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break; let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time
But I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

Give it up, give it up Baby
Give it up, give it up now, now

How many times can I break til I shatter?
Over the line, can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
All that I feel is the realness I'm faking
Taking my time
But its time that I'm wasting
I always turn the car around

How many times can I break til I shatter?
Over the line, can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Don't wanna turn that car around
I gotta turn this thing around

"Yakusoku" by Chisaki Hama (Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (Live action)) always reminded be of Mac for some reason.

I'm not sure if it's the lyrics, or just that I first heard this song around the same time the final five episodes aired. :P

Lyrics (translated from Japanese):

When I peek at the fish
Swimming in its tank
The colorful parasols
The water droplets shine in a rainbow
I want to walk with you, it'll be fun

Let's go outside
Let's take a walk
Because I'm sure my heart will swell

Look, a bird is flying away through a break in the clouds
Without a kitten your eyes seem lonely
Lots of discoveries, I want to make them
All with you, our fingers joined softly

I kept it a secret from my mom
For some reason today I don't want to go home
A wobbling jelly about to melt
Scoop it with a spoon and for a moment it's the color of the sea

I want to turn crystal clear
I want to melt into a glass
Because I'm sure that would make my spirit transparent

*Look, a sunset as the rain stops
Sorry, I think our hands are coming apart
You and I will always be together
So I'm sure we'll be able to meet again tomorrow

*Repeat

I'm sure we will, I'm sure we will
I'm sure we will, I'm sure we will
We will
