I am working on a line of Foster's-themed objects and clothing for the Sims 2. The first batch is up, and it's a collection of the t-shirts that can be found in the NF Cafepress shop.

Enjoy (http://www.fosters-home.com/sims2/custom.htm). (Enjoy the pictures even if you don't have Sims 2.) And use this thread for requests if you want. I can't do much but if I can do something I'll try it. No, I can't do meshes. One day, maybe.

Nice job there, chief. Those shirts look like the real deal. :bloocross:

My Mr. Herriman is getting the black No-No tee. Great job! ;D

I've created eight new framed pictures/posters of Foster's Home images, but I want to submit them to modthesims2.com. I've never submitted anything to a Sims site before so I just submitted one poster pack, and I'm going to wait until it's accepted before I submit the rest. Once I know I'm doing it right I'll link to the items there.

You're way ahead of me; when I want to use a picture of something real as an in-game decoration, I turn it into wallpaper or paneling. :P

Frankie pics make very nice wallpaper, by the way.

I may make some murals that way. :) But I do feel that wall hanging objects are nicer than wallpapers; plus modthesims2 doesn't actually allow uploads of pictures on wallpaper any more according to their FAQ. Apparently that's the "lazy way" of getting pictures into the game and they frown upon it. :P Their site is so big now that they have to be a bit picky about what they allow people to submit.

I'm still waiting on a response, but they say it can take a few days. Yes Frankie is in at least one of the ones I've made. ;)

My thanks, of course. Care to reccommend a "how-to" manual on the subject?

You can find a bunch of tutorials here:

The one I used to get started was this one:

My first item, a poster pack, was accepted! Here it is (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=225591). It's gotten lots of downloads already; I guess that means a lot of people like Fosters! ;D I went ahead and submitted the rest of the stuff I had ready, so I guess that will take another couple days for them to show up on the site.

I downloaded everything, which was an adventure in itself, considering how often the MTS2 server is down. Eh, whatever. I'll post a pic next time I update the Foster's Valley thread. :)

I had submitted a set of three Foster's shirts, the "I Pooted" red one from the CN online store, the brown "I Like Choklit Milk" 2006 Comic-Con one, and the all-over "blog" shirt, for both genders ages child through adult, but they were rejected by modthesims2 for not looking...fabric-y enough. So I guess I'll try to rework them when I get the time.

Mega bump. Unfortunately your custom content dosent work anymore. All the links to Mod The Sims are just welcome pages. And the clothing download link is now a 404 error.

I don't play the game anymore, so I didn't know the modthesims site had changed. Here (http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=416147) is my profile, you can download my content from there. I restored the links to the Sims part of my page, but don't ask me for any support using the files or whatever.

Can you post the clothes again? I'd really appreciate that. I've just made the Kazoo family (Mac, Janet, Terrence and Bloo) and I need the clothes. Just post all of them, please.

edit: Okay I tried to reupload them, but the problem is I don't have the files anymore. :P So, nothing I can do.

Make them again?

Or find someone who downloaded them, ask them to send you the files, and reupload them :D
