Well I'm a member or DeviantART and recently I've been doing a lot of Foster's fanart, some of which are scenes from my Fanfic Crooked Smile http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3106285/1/. So anyways, I thought I'd show you lovely bunch of people some of my best works so... let's go!

So yeah... I hope you all like them and if you don't, some constructive critisism would be nice rather than getting hit with a shoe. I'll probably give this thread an update of pictures once I get some more up that are good enough to be seen by the Foster's fan community. Peace out! :D

Yay depressed Wilt... That doesn't sound good does it?

That does look a lot like his expression in Good Wilt Hunting, when he was sitting at the bus stop, watching all those kids with their Imaginary Friends, and when he was on the lawn mower, watching that basketball game in the front yard of those suburban kids. If you compare those pics of Wilt to the ones in the flashbacks, when he still was with Jordan, he really DOES look like he's aged 30 years. Wilt puts up such a good front of being happy all the time, but at times he just could not hide all that inner pain, and this pic does a good job of capturing that.

I hadn't really checked out the Fan-Art Forum until today, and I have to say that I'm very impressed with all your drawings, Vampyre, especially your most recent one (melancholic Wilt gazing up at the sky...how poignant :D ).

It's times like this when I wish I was good at fan art. Alas, I can never nail other people's characters, only my own frivolous little creations. :(

You shouldn't beat yourself up for having a unique style. Everyone draws a certain way. As for imitating the Fosters style, I say just keep at it! you'll get there eventually!

I only just realised that I had posted this one up here. I was experimenting with a water colour effect on this one, and although in my opinion, it didn't come out very water colourish, I am REALLY pleased with it.

Well, I am of the opinion that imaginary friends turn out the way they're imagined and anatomy be...darned. But, if you were looking to draw Wilt in a more realistic style, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Good job.

I kind of like that it has a darker feel to it though. It's nice sometimes to see a vulnerable side to a character, you know?

Oh man, that's a really expressive picture. I love the detail you've put into it, especially those water droplets, a clever effect there. You've got the gloomy mood of the picture spot on, and not just with Wilt's forlorn expression, but with the colours too.

This piece is amazing! What really gets to me is the frown. Without it he's sad and rejected, but with that little curve at that exact line width and placement, you can practically see into a whole world of disappointment and self-loathing. Good luck on the story.

Oh, and the phrase you're trying to think of right now is "lover's quadrangle". :goo:
