Well, I found a couple more pics from cosplay.com.

Of course, we all know about OneRadicalDude's Blooregard cosplay...

But I stumbled upon these, too:

C&C welcome.

Lmao I thought that Mac was a guy in that first pic. I was about to write that he makes a good Mac until I saw the second one. It's passable. The stuffed Bloo was a great touch though. It's very cute.

LOL, nice pics! And that stuffed Bloo is very cute! I wonder what material it's made out of, it looks really squishy. I wish I got a chance to cosplay once in a while but there's nowhere to go in the UK.:(

The two Macs are the same girl, although she looks really different in the pictures. Must be the angle or maybe the wig. I'd do Foster's cosplay but a Frankieish wig would be hard to find and I can't sew plushies...

I got those last two pics from cosplay.com, and it is the same girl playing Mac.

Those are great cosplays, I actually cosplay myself but have never had the urge to do Foster's simply because of 2 reasons:

1. This is the kind of cosplay you'd need more then 1 person with to do it right.

2. Possibly might not get recognized :'( no offense.

But I support those who did cosplay and I think you guys did a great job, I think the Frankie wig (if that is a wig) looks a bit strange but nice none the less. Especially the Bloo costume.

Also this is a tad off topic but for those of you who care, this is my cosplay page and if you like, you can see what I've done over the years:

It's mostly of anime but I have some other odd outfits in there, plus galleries of other cons I have gone to. Enjoy!

I haven't seen your post yet, but I wore a "Mac shirt" today! It's a short-sleeved red shirt with white long sleeves sewn in to look like there's a full long sleeved shirt underneath, you know. ;) I need some khaki pants to go with it though. I'm thinking of just painting a picture of Mac on the front of the shirt, just to make it cuter.

cosplaying is pretty much when people dress up in costumes of characters. anime, cartoon characters, characters from books and so on.

they go to anime conventions and just walk around in their costumes and take pictures of other people, and buy manga and stuff like that. a big part of cosplaying is people flapping around at conventions and saying OMG ARE YOU NARUTO? I LOVE THAT SHOW OLOLOLOLOLOLLOHUEHUEEHEHU

Don't get me wrong, I think it would have looked awesome once it was finished; just that in the unfinished state documented in those photographs, it looks absolutely soul-rendingly terrifying. :wiltshock:

Actually, scratch that; just leave it as it is and use it to emotionally scar other Comic-Con attendees. I know I've been damaged by that photo...Semi-Constructed Faceless Sparky-Mac will be pursuing me in my nightmares tonight. You're paying for my therapy bills, lady. :(

Ah, OK. I just got a little confused, because the page said that you'd aborted the one "with the foam"...and thank you, I do feel better to know he now has skin and a nose. I think those are both things that Mac would appreciate. :P

I must confess - that's a sentence that I never thought I would hear anybody say. :wiltshock:

Guess you didn't know Beetlejuice is my favorite cartoon, then.

Yeah the second one is made with *sheet* foam, but the first one was carved out of a solid block of foam. Well, the foam comprised just the top half of his head, attached to a construction helmet; I planned to make the sides with plastic canvas and then cover it all with batting and fabric. But it was heavy and wobbly. The note about this being my second attempt was for the benefit of anyone checking back who, last they saw, thought I was still going for the previous concept. But there's a whole thread on this project in the Other Fan Creations section.

And if anyone wants me to pay their psychiatrist bills, first they are welcome to donate to the site. Freeloaders. ;)

I would've suggested that somewhere in the hotel would be easier, not to mention attract less side attention too. Not that fans are bad, but as you know, there is such a thing as too much attention too.

FWIW, it's because of both Bloo's that Craig and Lauren actually had a chance to escape the panel! 8D

Um, no...we just couldn't arrange it. When I talked to Lauren on the phone she was waiting for folks to bring their car around so they could load it so they could get out of there asap. There just wasn't time, that's all. I guess they had decided it would be better to bail earlier rather than later after all.

And no, I don't think we scared them away. 8D

I love that first one, their costumes and even looks turned out perfect for their characters. And that's a pretty impressive Wilt too, I applaud them!

There is a boy who dresses as Mac for Halloween, and you can find him on about page 20 of Mac's thread- he has Lauren Fraust's full approval!
