This comic comes out on Sept 27, and will be the first CN comic to feature a Foster's story!
http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?cm=5935
I've been told that the cover's been changed from the one shown, and will have the Foster's gang running on a yellow background.
I've also been told that there's a Blinky-like character in there. ;) Lol. Maybe a coincidence...maybe not, he didn't say specifically.

The only place online I know where to order from (Mile High Comics) wants $6 for shipping, so it would be just under $9. Meh, no thanks.

Got it.

Contains the Foster's story "Friend or Foe?" Its about a kid coming to Foster's looking to adopt an IF, and Bloo being convinced he's really a zombie looking for brains to devour. When the kid expresses interest in adopting Wilt, Coco, or Ed, Bloo keep trying to convince him that their brains are no good.
Oh and here's the "Blinky-like" blue lightbulb friend, I made it into an avatar but I'll post it here too because I change my avatar so often.

Erm...where can you order it? Because I can't seem to find it ANYWHERE.

If you can't find it anywhere, the only place I've found online right now is Mile High Comics, but it's almost $9 with ($6 in shipping costs alone). :(

Bleh. I hate it when shipping costs more than the item being shipped. But if it's the only option, I'll grin and bear it.

Okay and probably more but I don't have that much time. :) Here's the Google search results page (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=online+comic+book+shops&btnG=Google+Search) I got those from, but there were a lot of online shops that didn't have that comic.

Well, I can do one for just over the $6.50 mark, which is definitely better than before. Thank you for the links.

I dunno... I collect weird stuff so I'm used to paying relatively high prices for things online. $9 isn't TOO bad compared to some stuff. Though I'll be prowling the comic book shop here for this, no doubt, because Being USED to high prices doesn't mean LIKING them. ::)

My mom says she won't order it......she says if she can't find it anywhere, she'll check Hastings (or however it's spelled) and see if they can order it. But I still think I'll end up missing out on this, just like I missed out on the Burger King toys. (they never arrived) :(
Mine SHOULD be at the comic store today for me to pick up. Or next week. Waahh.

I was looking for a couple more copies of this comic today, and I called *everyone* in the Sacramento area and no one has any. So I am going to special order some. Ordinarily I would just get maybe 3, but if anyone else here is interested I could try to get more. The comic with tax is about $2.50 if they don't charge me extra for doing a special order. Shipping of course would vary, but shouldn't be more than a dollar going anywhere in the world. I can always calculate on a per person basis. Anyways, if at least a few people would be interested in me getting them a copy let me know, so I can get an idea.
Of course, I encourage everyone to try their luck getting their own local comic shops to special order - every single one I talked to today said they do that. But if for any reason you can't, I'll try to help you out.

YES! I love that you people know these things. *comic book ORDER'D!*
Any chance of people scanning the comic or no?

I won't be doing it, at least not in its entirety. I'm sure CN wouldn't like that too much. That's why I offered to pick up copies for people instead.

Yeah, I agree with the chief there. Why do you ask? Did yours not arrive? :wiltshock:

Of course this is all NOT COMING TO BELGIUM *ahem*.
If there's any comic book I read, it would be that one :(
How come Belgium never gets decent merchandising? USA is lucky. ;) I've seen some girl at school with a PPG T-Shirt (no, it didn't look like Frankie's - it only had Buttercup on it), but I think I'll have to wait ages for Foster's stuff...
Also, we don't have a decent cartoonnetwork page. www.cartoonnetwork.be (http://www.cartoonnetwork.be) redirects to www.cartoonnetwork.nl (http://www.cartoonnetwork.nl) which has no info, 4 games, no airing dates, not even the word "Foster's" on the whole thing...
Ouch.

I ordered a half-dozen copies from a local comic shop today, but they will take a week to two weeks to arrive. Just a heads-up to anyone who's already asked or who comes along in the near future and decides to ask me to send them one.

Does anyone have a general plot summary?

I believe I mentioned something earlier in the thread, but here's something a bit more detailed...The story starts with Bloo obsessing about zombies wanting to eat everyone's brains and take over the world. Right about then a kid Mac's age arrives wanting to adopt an IF - Bloo insists that he's a zombie there to eat everyone's brains. Ignoring Bloo (who tags along), Mac starts showing the kid around. They encounter Wilt, Coco, and Ed seperately while on the tour and the kid expresses interest in adopting each of them, to which Bloo reacts by telling him what lousy brains they have, trying to dissuade him from adopting them. At the end:
the kid imagines up his own combination of Wilt, Ed, and Coco and goes his merry way, and the others accuse Bloo of trying to deter the kid from adopting them not because of zombies but because he loves them and doesn't want them to leave.
