Welp, let's talk about the show ;D.
There was this one ep, it seemed like it had something to do with Billy wanting to be a ballet dancer or something. At the end Billy's dad and the old lady had a ballet dance competition. Anyway, his ballet school looked JUST like a hunted version of Fosters! It even had a tall guy and an old lady in it! And the house, the inside....it was so much like Fosters.

The first time I saw the show, right at the beginning this sullen-looking little girl walks on to the screen, points at me, and says "Pull my finger". That, for me, was the high point of the series; it's been pretty much downhill from there.

Yeah, it's Mandy, and she's cynical. XDD

I like Mandy, it's her cynical, semi gothic personality that makes the show. And god, Billy is so stupid. Funny, but stupid, and sometimes annoying. Grim, he's a good one too. I think Mandy and Grim are my favorites.

I'd unreservedly love this show if it weren't for the excess crude humor. It has a gloomy edge and some very cool main characters, but the overload of such tasteless humor alone stops me from enjoying this show aside from the ocassional watch.
Does anyone remember in the episode Reap Walking when they made fun of Foster's?

Yep when that episode debuted, there was an eight page thread dedicated to it, (It was either here or TV.com or maybe both) which I thought was kind of a bit much for something that only lasted less then 30 seconds and really wasn't all that funny or clever.
Now The Powerpuff Girls bit they did at the end of the Episode "My Fair Mandy" on the other hand, "That's" how you parody something from the McCrakenverse.

Yeh that was falling of the chair stuff that. I aint seen the Fosters rag yet.
It is disgusting though sometimes. I never have a TV dinner when Billy and Mandy is on.

One time, I was at a hotel that had cable TV, so I watched The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I think that was about two years back. I thought it was pretty funny. Since then, I've never had the chance to see it again, so I don't know what it's like anymore.
About that thing when they made fun of Foster's? I've never seen that either, but from the way it sounds, it doesn't amuse me.

It's kinda weird...
It's this little parody called "Fister's Home for Weird Made-Up People". It shows a parody of Mac and the friends (who look like Juniper Lee monsters...*shudder*) and then a second later, we see an ugly version of the house. A split second later...*BOOOM!*, it blows up.

That's definitely not funny.
To me at least.
It's crude, sick humor.

Its an okay show I don't really care for it that much
the only characters I like are grim nergal and nergal junior
I hate mandy and billy and all the rest with a dying pasion
IMO I don't think Mandy is evil at all she is just spoiled and her parents are to whimpy to yell at her and beat her
and if I was Grim I would be like forgot the deal and cut their heads off

First off, as barbaric as it sounds Mandy IS evil enough to require a beating. And secondly if you ever saw the future episode where Mandy is a giant slug and Billy is a cloned companion for her, you'd see she is quite evil.
Even if Billy has the IQ of a paperclip, Mandy has got a mean streak like a bat out of hell.

I like to think a certain redheaded girl would be the one to give Mandy that beating. :blooevil:

yes I seen that one those were the old episodes where she was evil but now she
is just spoiled
I miss how she used too care about her friends a little in the older episodes like lets take the episode where they sale grim his aunts cookies
at the part where billy looked like he was poisened she looked scared and worried
now all she cares is about herself
Im just wondering how come they say that "my fair mandy" was the first episode she smiled in when she smiled at the end of the wish one after she said "perfect"
and she smiled quite a bit in the episode where Grim wanted to be a model

I'd like to think otherwise. Frankie isn't a child beater. (If you're referring to someone else, please disregard this post.)

I watch the show if nothing else is on. I love Phill Lamarr's Drakula! And I really like Grim. Who do'es his voice, anyway? I like Mandy. She's cute in her own creepy way. She would be a cute little girl if she werant so cynicle. The big guy based on the Evil Dead series main character is funny too. About the only character I can't stand is Billy's friend who say's "Yo" alot.8D

1.) Greg Eagals is the voice of grim. (He was also the voice of Grey Fox, in Metal Gear Solid)
2.) That would be Hoss Delgado (Voiced by Diedrich Bader, of "The Drew Carey Show" fame.)
3.) And that would be Irwin (And I forgot who voices him. Aw, two out of three aint that bad.)

Vanessa Marshall is the voice-over for Irwin. She was at Comic-Con, yo.

Hoss Delgado... His character sounds like the guy who did the voice of Darkwing Duck. I may be wrong.:D

I'll watch the show on occasion, if it's on and I'm in the mood then sure I'll watch it.
The episode that had me laughing REALLY hard was the return of Fred Fred Burger. Oh god that was funny... in my opinion anyawy, it was somewhat immature... but still funny. "YOU KILLED... MY FROZEN... YOUGURT!!!" heh heh heh...
The episode that first had Fred Fred Burger, "the Keeper of the Reaper", it was funny... yet extremely crude at times. With all it's comments about... lets just call them... "bathroom comments" ... *shutters*

This show is ok at times... it has its moments, I suppose. The bathroom humor gets a little tiring, though, because it is cheap and especially common in many of today's cartoons (Foster's isn't one... yay!)
However, I DID see a few good movie references in some of the episodes. I remember seeing some of Fight Club, Army of Darkness (NOT the Diedrich Bader character - in the one I'm talking about, Grim cocked a shotgun-like weapon and said "Groovy"), and one of the Warriors.

I like the old epsiodes of Billy and Mandy better. The newer episodes seem to be all about Billy eating boogers and stuff.

They call that "Entertainment"? This is why I mostly watch the History Channel. :P

I CAN SPELL MY NAME REEEAALL GOOD!
I mean, uh, the incredible grossness of the jokes is pretty.... well.... gross.... and, I'm not trying to be a Pollyanna here, but I kinda like happy-ish shows. With characters that are interesting and you can care about.

I'll agree with Bloo2daMacs, the "Keeper of the Reaper" ep was ab-so-lutly hilarious. Fred made that show. My favorite lines:
"YES!"
"I LIKE NACHOS!"
"I LIKE MUSIC THAT GOES LIKE THIS....FAA LA LA LA LA LA LAAAAAA!" okay I'll stop now.
I read that Phill LaMarr does Irwin's grandma's voice too. And his dad's-I think.

I love this show! Not a fan of the season 1 epsidoes though, CN aired them too much. I love Fred & Billy, yes! They'd make good friends form a certain yellow imaginary pal. I also like how Foster's got back (sorta) at B/M for the parody (which IMO was funny) by having Mandy in the Big Picture.
