If there were an award for furriest friend at Foster's, it would go to Pokey Toehair! He loves his thick coat of fur, but it does cause him grief at times. Not only does it give some of the friends allergies, but boy is it hot in the summertime! On those steamy days, Pokey retreats to the attic to enjoy his passion, playing smooth jazz on his saxophone. Now that's cool!

Who can forget this wonderfully furry friend, Pokey Toehair? I certainly cannot. Even if his roles seem to be nothing more than cameos, and a line from "Phone Home", he's pretty awesome. I just adore his character design, and pretty much whatever else makes up his character.

I could be wrong, of course, but I don't think he's spoken since that episode.

Holy smokes does he walk around like Bloo, or does he actually have legs underneath that fur? And exactly how long would it take for all of it to grow back if he were to get - the dreaded - FLEAS? 8D

Well, that's all I can think up to say about Pokey.

A smooth jazz saxophonist, huh? Any chances that Mr. Toehair was once Kenny G's imaginary friend?

Well, all power to him, I say. There's ample love in my heart for smooth jazz, as there is for pretty much any branch of jazz. I wouldn't even call it a guilty pleasure, since to be frank I didn't feel in the least bit guilty about deriving enjoyment from it until the jazz pursuits informed me that I should do. Am I going to listen to them? You damn well bet I'm not!

Erm, so Pokey Toehair...yeah, I like his design. Fairly Sesame Street-ish.
