That's the title TV Guide's site provided but as of now there's no synopsis. Most likely Halloween-themed.

When I read part of that title I thought it was just ripping off of a fanfiction...XDDD

I think "Blooooo" was the Halloween episode, even though it didn't seem much of one.

But anyway, I hope its gooooooooood! :D

I posted the plot on the Schedules thread before we knew the title:

It's Halloween, and Bloo is bent on doing the ultimate trick, but when it goes wrong it sets off a chain of events that end up turning all of the Imaginary Friends into Zombies.

This is the 3D episode, by the way.

w00t! 3-D Foster's zombies!

But I sure hope this episode is possible for Sparky to take screengrabs of. Y'know, it might be difficult since it's 3-D and all... maybe they'll have a non 3-D episode shortly after.

I think they probably will, eventually. The whole 3D thing is intriguing but I don't see it as much more than a promotional gimmick.

I *might* be able to catch this one. Since it's 3-D and I may not have the glasses and all. I'll try my best!

I want to see this =D I'm excited for the whole 3-D thing, I wonder if just any 3-D glasses would work.

I don't honestly know much about 3-D, and I was going to make my own at least, I know they have a page about how to make your own, it was listed on the same site where you get the form to fill out to send in for your own 3-D glasses.

It won't load for me though, I always get an error =D Ah well =)

I can't wait to see it =D

Ah hah! Confirmation that it is going to be on the 12th. Thanks Ccook! :D

I'm still wondering about that plot, though. Sounds corny to me. But maybe we'll be delightfully surprised again.

I can see why you'd be confused, but yeah. And by the way: Zombies!!

Everyone loves zombies. And it's been a while since Fosters has done a haloween special.

Yeah, true. The only other Halloween themed episode as it were, "Bloooo", was a lot of fun. Even though it was a pretty thankless one for Frankie.

So, that's the 3-D episode eh? 8-) I wish I had some 3-D glasses. Either way, this one sounds a lot more like a Halloween-themed episode than "Bloooo" did (which never really felt like one to me).

I'm hoping on snagging the new issue of TIME for Kids since CN.com's ad for the 3D airing says to keep an eye on it. But I'm getting frustrated now. Both the supermarket and Barnes and Noble only have the "special" issue, which is a World Atlas, and according to the TIME websight, the last issue released was back in April. You can officially proclaim me entirely confused and frustrated. :( Will they release a new issue advertising the event mere days beforehand? Doesn't seem reasonable to me. I'd think it would be out by now. I'll still keep my eye on that, though.

I also thought I saw an ad on TV for the event, but it turned out being this years UNISEF ad. Billy the Squid outdid Bloo in raising funds. Haha, it was cute. 'Tis the season. :D

A short preview of the night is on CN's homepage. It's simply a Fried Dynamite ad, with about two seconds of the Foster's ep. But my attention was focused on the upper-left corner on the screen. If that's accurate, this is going to be the first Foster's episode to be rated TV-PG. Also, since the clip was just a normal one, I'm guessing that the next airing of the ep will be of the usual sort.

The TV-PG rating may either be a mistake, or it may be reserved for movies or any other programming that requires that rating (more than likely, it's the latter). I don't foresee FHFIF getting a TV-PG episode anytime soon.

Twas a dark and stormy night as Bloo watched in fear as the front doors' doorknob rattled rather quick vigorously, as if someone was trying to pry it open. His fear began to intensify as the door was finally unlocked, and it swung open, to reveal a tall, dark figure with an odd-shaped head, his left long, seemingly spindly arm outstretched, the hand still clutching the door knob. Bloo could not see in the darkness who it was, and was off running from the foyer in a flash, barely able to let out a scream of pure horror.

Sorry, something I observed on this different Fried Dynamite AD I saw on TV just a few minutes ago. 8D

You guys do NOT have to spoiler-tag stuff from commercials. :jk: Really. They're commercials. Spoiler tags are for concealing stuff contained within a medium not yet released to the public at large; like discussing an ep as soon as its aired on the east coast but before its aired on the west coast, or discussing an ep released on Comcast On Demand (which not everyone has) or online before it aired on TV. (People in other countries know its up to them whether or not to visit an ep discussion thread at all before their country gets the ep.)

I just think people over-use spoiler tags. *shrug*

antgirl1
10-04-2007, 07:20 PM
I don't mean to "over-use" spoiler tags, I was just trying to be safe and hiding what's in the episode in the spoilers, as the episode has yet to air at all, in case someone doesn't want to know this stuff until they've seen it. Honestly.

After all, I think it was the reason the spoiler tags were put into the forum, of course me being a forgetful person, might be wrong on the matter.

I have a question about 3-D glasses...

So I pulled out a pair of the glasses that came with my Shrek 3-D DVD and I noticed that on the website on the page where they show you how to make your own glasses, that they have blue lenses on the left eye and red on the right. But my glasses are the opposite. When I try flipping mine over and looking through them at the sample of 3-D footage on the site, it looks all messed up. So did they mess up and is it supposed to be blue on the right/red on the left? Does it actually matter? It seems to, but it might just be me.

Try a hardware store for the red and blue plastic. I used to work at a craft store and we never had any, so I don't know if other craft stores would have it. I'm wondering if the polarised kind of 3-D glasses would work any better, wish I had some...

I got a tip today from a student that Wal-Mart has 3-D glasses kits in either the school supply section or the party supply section. I haven't yet checked to see if it's true, since I HATE going to our local Wal-Mart, but I guess I'm gonna have to break down and go. I'll let y'all know if this actually turns out to be legit.

I was looking online for where one could buy 3-D glasses and it looks like they can be available in party stores; apparently there are like Batman and other cartoon-themed party game kits that use 3-D glasses. I don't know if they only come in those kits or if you can get them separately though.

antgirl1
10-09-2007, 06:07 PM
I personally don't think it would matter where the lenses are, as long as the characters pop out of the screen, its all you need. But if it's the other way around, then I guess that means you gotta either get them from the site or flip the glasses over and hold it onto your eyes. XDD

EDIT: I went to the site, and used my Spy Kids 3D glasses from the theaters, and it looked fine to me. The graphics of the glasses on the characters just might be on the wrong sides...I think the characters in the background are supposed to appear "farther away" then the others, who "pop out".

Even if Wilt DOES appear white in the 3D portion. :D

EDIT EDIT: ....Oh. NOW I see what you're sayin'...Wearing them like you normally would, makes NOTHING "pop out"...Not even the words....while the reverse side makes it "pop"....O_o

Funny how party supply stores should be brought up today because... Just yesterday I went back to Barnes and Noble to check for a new TIME for Kids mag, and nope. But then it was a holiday here in the US and new shipments may not have come in, so I should check again tomorrow (could have checked today, in fact). While I was there I went to the movie section hoping on at least finding a DVD that came with 3D glasses. Nope. So I asked the clerk if she knew if there were any 3D glasses around, and she said she hadn't seen any in years, but to check the Party City next door. I straitened up right away, smiled and exclaimed "Good point, why didn't I think of that! Thank you!" So next door I went. Enjoyed browsing through all the exciting Halloween stuff and costume accessories. Saw a lot of glasses, costume glasses, sun glasses, novelty glasses. No 3D glasses anywhere. So I finally asked one of the clerks there and he said they didn't have any. I asked if they knew where I could get some, and he said a movie store like maybe Blockbuster or Hastings. I know where a Blockbuster is so I can try to stop by there sometime in the next few days. I'm also wondering if media stores you find at the mall might have some too like Spencers Gifts or Sharper Image. I don't think I'll have time to get to the mall this week though.

Ugh, this is getting so frustrating! According to a post at ToonZone though, someone who "won" the party pack and got to see "Nightmare on Wilson Way" early said that although they liked the episode, the 3D effects weren't all that great. So if it's any comfort to anyone, we might not miss the glasses much if we don't have them.

Actually, the Fosters season 1 DVD in Canada has a PG rating slapped on the back of the package. Maybe the Halloween themed episode was considered potentially scary for the much younger fans of the show.

I work in the Stationary department at Wal-Mart which covers the two sections mentioned and I can say I've never seen any 3-D glasses kits for sale there. I don't know if this is the case for Wal-Marts down in the U.S. though.

Also, I would have though that the shadowy figure with the odd shaped head would have been Cheese. I wouldn't be surprised if Cheese makes an appearance in the episode. :cheese:

2 things:

1. The PG rating could be covering the entire night of Fried Dynamite, after all, those Goosebumps specials have PG ratings.

2. I'm most likely not going to have the glasses by Friday. Do you think that if I tape it with my VCR, the 3-D coding will still remain?

*sigh*

Can't find 3D glasses ANYWHERE, for the LIFE OF ME!!! I don't know what was meant by the new issue of TIME for Kids, because no such thing seems to exist. In a last resort, I went to Target today, to search in the stationary/party section,. Nope. Looked in the VG section. Nope. Asked a clerk and was directed to the reading glasses.... Uh, I don't think 3D glasses would be in with the reading glasses... ::) At least the girl was trying to help, though. But obviously, nope. Looked in the games section (SceneIt type DVD games), nope. Looked in the toys. Found 3D viewfinders, more novelty glasses, but nope. Looked in the craft section for some kind of kit or at least red and blue plastic film, nope. Looked for the tenth time in the DVD section, trying to read every cover and spine in the entire store for anything that is in 3D and comes with glasses. All I found was a 3D version of "Night of the Living Dead" for $19.99, and it came with four pairs of glasses. I've never been a fan of horror, just not my taste, so ugh (no offense to horror fans). But FINE! I bought it. Took two pairs of glasses out of it, and think I'll send the DVD and the other two pairs to my brother since he likes horror flicks and knows as well as anyone else how cool 3D is. At least I have glasses now, and another pair to spare (or share). Ha, I just rhymed, and didn't mean to...

Anyway, thus ends the story of my search for the Holy Grail..er, 3D glasses.

Tried them on as soon as I took them out of the case and I forgot how cool these glasses are. I could barely see my digital clock (red LED), everything seemed to flash when I moved my head... Pretty cool. ;) And now I officially can look forward to seeing this episode!

Cassini90125

I doubt they'll be all that great, too; I still think the whole 3-D thing is mostly for publicity. Worth a look, sure, but in the end I doubt it'll be particularly memorable.

Those of you without glasses might want to try your local Walgreens or it's equivalent. They're giving the glasses away for "Regis & Kelly"; mine had over 200 pairs left this afternoon.

This was a great episode, at any rate. Plenty of cultural references, from Powerpuff Girls to Huckleberry Hound; I’m sure there are a ton more that I didn’t notice. Mabel Licorice’s black cat costume was cute as well, and even though she’s only a background character, I like seeing her. I don’t really have much else to say, as I stopped reviewing episodes, but I really liked this one.

Meh, the 3D was terrible. So terrible, that you can't even see the 3D lines. XDDD

But jeez, this episode alone was awesome. :D

I really liked how the return of the Werewolf costume was used, and a lamp soon fell on Wilt's head. After which, Frankie trips over him. And then, Madame Foster trips over not Frankie and Wilt, but the lamp. XDDD

"AAAHH, MY ARM!!"

*silence**kids nudge candy bags towards Wilt, obviously unamused*

"...*muttering*Fine, here's your candy."

Either the kids knew the arm was fake, or they didn't get the hint. Silly Wilt, trying to scare kids with a false arm. Wilt looked so funny when he seemed to pout. XD

I just loved how Wilt didn't believe Bloo about the zombies until he saw them behind Bloo and Eduardo. Even then, poor guy was DRAGGED out of the house to become one of them...(I don't care if it was acting, it looked so real to me until the end) XD

Yay Sugar Mac returns again! Plus the end of episode gag had me rolling with laughter, even if I couldn't hear anything from it, and the screen for it was so small...I could read Mac's lips, he's like "Oh no. OH NO!!", until Wilt appears to retrieve that false arm Mac had been holding, only to have Mac faint. 8D

....For some reason, I somehow KNEW Herriman wasn't even dead, even at the scene of his "dying".

So yeah, without the 3D glasses, the screen basically is a LOT brighter than normal. The 3D stuff will not be that much in the way, you can hardly see the 3D lines.

Wow, Mr. Bachman hath redeemed himself with this one!

Even though I couldn't score any 3-D glasses, the episode was still great-really funny! Bloo had it coming to him, now didn't he? Somehow though, I knew that at some point, there was gonna be the devil to pay, in form of a certain sugar-crazed 8-year-old! I thought it was pretty darn neat, the idea of actually having to tie poor Mac down to a bed to keep him from getting ahold of Halloween candy.

I loved everyone's costumes, although between Pimp Daddy Jackson Khones(now HOW many "kiddie shows" have a character dressing like a pimp, hmmmmm?) and Vampire LeWilt, I can't choose! And poor Ed, somehow didn't we all figure he'd be a wreck by the time the first trick-or-treater rang the doorbell?

I'm still laughing at the great Weekend At Bernie's references, and Wilt's little fake arm trick-now who KNEW the Wilt-Man had such a wonderfully SICK sense of humor? I LOVE it, especially when it finally worked on those two little kids and they ran off screaming, and that delightfully devilish grin just spread across his face; for some reason, I could easily imagine him saying, "Well, whatya know? It scares little kids, AND little monsters!"

My only complaint-and clearly I'm not the only one who feels that way, was that they only showed the end credits down in a teeny, tiny little box in the bottom right corner, with NO SOUND, so we couldn't hear what was being said between poor Mac(coming to after a massive sugar high/binge/trip)and Wilt, who was clearly still in his trickster mode. Hopefully, they'll show the end credits properly with the 2-D reshow.

After my disappointment with the last episode, this was sure great, giving me back my hope for the rest of Season Five!

Now, THAT was a Halloween episode. :P I really thought that this was a well-done episode, and the costumes were great. I was among those that lacked the 3D glasses, but from what I've read, they're not really worth wearing. Sugar-crazy Mac (third time he's been sugar-crazy) was used really appropriately here, and that was one of the high points in the episode, in my opinion. 8D I knew Herriman was not dead, but that was a great way to get back at Bloo for last Halloween's prank. I found them in the photo department :] They were just sitting there on the main desk table, so I swiped a pair and ran off XD

Yep, mine has them at the photo counter, too, next to the cash register. Quite a lot of them, too.

Loved the episode! Especially all the awesome costumes. For those who didn't have 3D glasses, you didn't really miss out. I had them, 3D doesn't work very well. It just hurts your eyes.

I tossed mine after the first few minutes and didn't miss them in the slightest. As I've said, this was nothing more than a publicity stunt. Now, if CN really wants some publicity, they should try running an episode without a single splash ad or commercial of any sort. Now that would get some attention!

Yeah, those stupid corn dog ads took up half of the screen! Plus, the end credits screen was so small you couldn't even tell what was going on because of goosebumps... Gr..

Yeah, it was really good. I really liked the return of sugar Mac. My question is, how did they go from regular face to so pale in such quick notice?

Also, I recorded it on my VCR, just to preserve the 3-Dness. They may not be that good, but they sure look interesting! However, it seemed to work when I looked through the plastic cap of my deoderant stick...

Okay, I didn't see the first screening of the episode so I just got finished watching the later, second airing of it. And I am sorry if the fact I didn't comb through all 8 comment pages before posting this but, I REALLY liked this episode. So far nearly all of the new episodes has kicked infinite amounts of ass!

Fosters really made a marvelous Halloween episode with this one. I kind of already figured out the "Halloween trick" they were planning, to be honest it wasn't that hard to figure out especially since Bloo and everyone was heavily emphasizing the canned snake gag. But that didn't make it less enjoyable.

I didn't even know about the 3-d thing and from what I saw, I doubt it would have made a lot of difference. It got annoying seeing the color scheme screwed up because of the 3-d thing at times but I still loved the episode. Ed had some hilarious moments, the flash light scene, the crazy Spanish speech part, and of course "He can't be THAT dumb".

8D superb stuff and being a Frankie fan, I knew a Powerpuff reference was gonna show up here and I'll be damned if Frankie didn't look snazzy in her Blossom outfit, I nearly laughed to death seeing her in that wig and the bow. The zombie appearances were very cool looking and course, MAC RULES!!

His sugar rages have become an excellent addition to the shows development he's hilarious going psycho and screaming like a crack addict. Loved Bloo's "Zombie fighters DANANAANAN" reference. Overall a great episode, this season has totally wowed me this fall and I'm glad the quality is at its peak.

The episode is great! Mac being in sugar rush was insane! I like the zombie fight scene. It was funny to see Herriman "dead" when Bloo pranked him. It was a cool Halloween special.

Cheering at the prospect of a dead Herriman, Bloo? That's just low.

About time Eduardo went into Spanish ranting frenzy mode.

By the way, what was started with the word "kill" in "Affair weather friends" we have now progressed to a full blown acknowledgment of DEATH and dead, even a corpse (sort of.

Ever since I heard Ben 10 say the word dead in its big movie, I was hoping more and more toons would start accepting death, dead, kill, and other REAL words that toons have pathetically avoided all these years.

Fosters, thanks for accepting reality in your show by having Herriman "die".

By the way, there will be 2-D repeats of this episode October 24 @ 6:30 PM, October 26 @ 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM and October 31 TBA ET/PT. So if if you don't have the 3-D stuff, these will be for you.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll remember to get it.

When Mr H first had his "heart attack" I thought, oh he's playing a prank, good on him. But as the ep wore on, I still wanted it to be a prank but it sure seemed less plausible. And at the end, when it all WAS a prank, it just made it all the more cartoony. ;) Good ep. Mr H was beyond awesome in this one. :herriman:

This wasn't a background costume really, but it was my favorite: Madame Foster dressing as Yoda during the canned snake flashback she had after tripping over Frankie and Mr. Herriman.

Which reminds me, what was Frankie dressed as during that flashback? A Punker or something? I couldn't tell.

The "3-D" wasn't very good with my Shrek 3-D glasses, but the episode was beyond greatness. Lately, Foster's has been proving to me just how far a cartoon can go.

Take a guy getting stuck in a sewing shop, Foster's makes it amazing, take a classic zombie-invasion plot, Foster's makes it BEYOND amazing.

Out of five stars, I'd have to give this episode six....
....and a half.

And seeing Madame Foster in a Yoda costume made my day. 8D

I definitely enjoyed it a HECK of a lot more than the recent ones. It was great seeing Mac's sugar rush again as well as Wilt in his werewolf form. I was a little bummed that the end credits were squished just so Cartoon Network could show a Goosebumps commercial. All 'n all, a solid episode.:D

I'm actually watching this one as I type. (The scheduling is a little off in Alaska) It's been interesting so far, but I'm enjoying it. (It's hard to watch without the 3D glasses...)

I loved the scene where Bloo "killed" Mr. Herriman. I hate to admit this, but I saw the "death by fake peanut brittle can" thing coming, but it was still classic. I loved Bloo's version of CPR-- funny all the way.

I'm keeping this as a short mention so I don't send y'all on overload, but I loved Wilt in the tux. It was really cute.

The costumes of all the characters were great-- the animators did a fantastic job creating some serious visual interest. I loved the PPG nod with Frankie's costume-- I got a kick out of it.

I am a little disappointed that the end credit sequence was cut-- it looked like it could have been cute. Maybe it'll be shown when they do this ep on reruns.

Overall, pretty good. I still prefer the earlier seasons of the show, but this was still a good one.

I thought that Madame Yoda..I mean Foster, tripped over the lamp in the flashback scene, after blissfully stepping over Frankie and WILT(NOT Mr. Herriman), who were sprawled on the steps after Frankie fell over Wilt, who had been knocked unconcious by the aforementioned lamp(was that the same lamp that Coco fell in love with in "Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree"?). That scene reminded me of a fan art pic on DA-don't know who made it-which has Madame Foster squaring off against Yoda; it's pretty darn funny.

Even funnier than Bloo's notion of CPR, though, was his "thorough" burial of Mr. Herriman in the backyard. He just chucked a few shovelfulls of dirt over him, not even really bothering to dig a grave at all, and figured that nobody would notice! It IS a bit disturbing, when you think about it, that Bloo would be that nonchalant, and even joyful at one point, about actually having caused someone's "death", but I guess since Bloo thinks like a kid, his concept of actual death and it's permanency is rather primitive, and it goes hand-in-hand with his selfish nature and rebelliousness against authority. He was torn between guilt, and being thrilled that he'd finally gotten rid of a major thorn in his side, and the latter won out.

Upon later reflection, I also wondered how they got Wilt to go along with the whole plot, since basically, he WOULD have been lying, by pretending that not only he, but everyone else, was being killed and turning into zombies. I suppose that with Wilt, your approach to a situation makes all the difference. Ask him to lie and he's got problems with it, and can't follow through, but tell him to role-play and it seems as though the acting talent takes over from there; I gotta admit that his "death scene" as he was being dragged out by his feet, screaming in terror, was pretty darn convincing. Even though there were obvious and much-less-gory differences, it sorta reminded me of that scene in Jaws where Quint is sliding down into the jaws of the shark.

She was dressed as Tank Girl. Awesome comic-book reference.

Okay, I'm willing to give Darrick Bachman another chance. As I've stated a million times, I didn't really like any of his previous episodes, but this was beyond brilliant. Bloo yelling "controlate, hombre!" had me in tears. And my goodness, the animation really shined in this one. Almost every expression and/or pose had a certain charm and quirkiness to it few cartoons have these days. Great stuff, great stuff.

I also liked Bloo's last-year costume, Mojo Jojo. It seems that Bloo comes up the same tric each Halloween, and the residents are sick of it, so they pretended to be zomibes. Madame Foster's Yoda costume was kinda cool. Mac can be a bit strong and fast when he has a sugar rush. He's almost as fast as XLR8 from Ben 10.

I loved this episode! It was awesome!!! :smed:

The only downside that I have of it is that we didn't get to see Eduardo in a Halloween costume. Can't sat say I blame him for shaking in his boots on this of all occasions, since Halloween is a time for frightening things to happen. But if Ed DID have a costume, whaddya suppose he would have gone as? The only thing I could possibly imagine him going as is a werewolf, or a minotaur, courtesy of CG's mytholigical Eduardo picture on DeviantART. I doubt they would have used the latter. ::)

Still, I loved this episode through and through! On a scale of one to ten, this episode is an eleven! Even if the 3-D effects didn't seem like they were working. :D

This is my new fav eppy! I loved Bloo "Killing" Herriman, and the dedication from Mr H to the trick was amazing! Look at all the stuff he let Bloo do with him to make himself seem dead! I know it's a 'toon and all, but wow, bravo Mr. H!

I also loved the zombie versions of the cast, they looked awesome! I liked Mr. H and Wilt the best ^^

I'm probably the only one who didn't like Frankie's costume. I like PPG don't get me wrong, but Blossom was never even close to being a fav character of mine. I didn't like her at all x.x

I'd rather see Frankie as Bubbles or Buttercup, but I guess she did look better as Blossom.

Well, this episode was awesome! I loved every minute of it! I loved Jackie's costume (so fitting!), Wilt's fake-arm bit, and pretty much everything else! I particularly liked the way that Mr Herriman was getting into the spirit of things. He's so often portrayed as a stick-in-the-mud, and he is, but not ALL the time.(I personally think he'd be less strict and more fun if he wasn't the one in charge of disipline around the house :herriman:) The one annoying thing in the episode was Bloo's reaction to killing Mr Herriman, which was low, even for Bloo. I thought THAT of all things would be something to trigger the seldom-used responsibility switch in Bloo's brain, but I guess I was wrong. So, all in all, an excellent episode, one of the best this season, and so what if we all saw the fact that it was a trick coming?

I always thought the "heart Attack" scene was a trick, I expected Mr. H to go "Ha, I tricked you!" and then Bloo would try to get back at the with something else....but oh well. XD

Everything else, from that scene on, I thought it was really happening, like Mac and Bloo did. Acting does do wonders. :D

....I just realized something. In the flashback where Wilt is dressed as a werewolf, when he steps outside to give the kids some candy, his feet make the same squeaking noises as when he wears his shoes. And we don't see him wearing them....Even if he wore his shoes under the costume, we shouldnt've hear them...Oh well. :D

Ok, after allll that trouble I went through to get ahold of 3D glasses, I'm not ashamed! But yeah, the effects weren't that spectacular so those without glasses, don't worry too much about it. The effects I noticed most was the house when the ep first started, the can Bloo kept holding out wanting people to open it, Herrimans "zombie" hand reaching through the crack in the bedroom door, and Ed while he was running to get away from the zombies. There were other scenes I could tell were suppose to be in 3D, but it didn't look that way. So as pretty much everyone else has stated, it was no biggie. And I'm sure the reruns will be aired in normal 2D, so we won't see those weird red and blue lines.

That being said, I loved this episode! Yay, Wilt, Ed and Coco are all back! I loved Wilt's prank with the arm. I never really saw him as a prankster before, but he's a responsible one. I don't understand why the first group of kids didn't take to the prank, but the last group ran off screaming. Maybe something will come to me the next time I watch it. Or maybe it was Wilt's fake scream that cued the kids that it was just a joke? I dunno... I also loved the flashbacks to "last year", with the can and the lamp, and then Wilt, Frankie and then Madame F. out on the porch. And somehow they all remembered that and knew that Bloo was behind the whole thing, lol! And the grande finale, Mac rampaging the house with Bloo riding on his back, on another sugar high. And he lost his shirt again while chasing those poor kids for their candy. 8D I L-O-V-E-D Frankie's costume as Blossom! She was so cute with long blonde hair and a big bow, a whole new look for her! One thing I think was taken a tad overboard was when Bloo and Ed were in the closet and they were each screaming while Bloo shined the light on his face and then Eds, and back on himself. It was funny up until maybe the fourth scream, but quickly lost something after that.

jWell, and then there was the fact that for once CN shows the end credits but it's smashed down in the lower right-hand corner, and they're playing the Goosbumps theme instead of the dialog going on in the credit. This is another one I'll be keeping my eyes on On Demand, so hopefully I can record it again without those darn splash ads and the tiny squashed credit scene. :terrence:

But overall, I absolutely loved this episode, and see it as a better "Haloween" eppie than "Bloooo" was. But then, this actually took place on Haloween, so yeah, that would make sense, wouldn't it? :bloosmirk:

I was neither disappointed, or surprised, that Eduardo chose not to participate in Halloween. I figured that this would be a traumatic time of year for him. I AM surprised that they actually got him to go along with the plot, or that he wasn't afraid of the other house members in their zombie get-up, even after having been told that these were just costumes and make-up, or that he was able to so convincingly fake being terrified when he was planning to go along with it from the get-go. I guess that Wilt's not the only one with some real acting talent around the house! Also, I suppose that if Ed had acting nonchalant or even excited about Halloween, Bloo would have gotten suspicious, since that would not be "in-character" for Eduardo at all.

Thanks Ant for giving us what exactly was said in the credits. :) Even if we can't actually hear it, knowing what both Wilt's and Mac's voices sound like, we can now easily "hear" them saying those lines now next time we watch if Time-Warner does the same thing to it (which will be very likely, unfortunately).

I loved the plot, I loved Bloo freaking out, and something amusing about sugar rush Mac stomping through the zombies with Bloo singing his "Zombie fighters" thing was hilarious. Woo! What an episode! (Thanks a million, Sparky.)
I personally liked this ep more than Bloooo as a Halloween special. Even though the ending was just too predictable, that was also the case with Bloooo.
The next thing I'm gonna say will probably sound really stupid, but I was actually a bit creeped out at some parts with Bloo, Ed and Coco just walking in the halls. But it was an enjoyable episode, and that said, I'll name my favourite parts for no reason.
-The whole scene with Bloo trying to get out into the yard with Mr. Herriman's body. There was just something so disturbing and dark about it that made me laugh my head off.
-The way everyone was being "killed off" one by one. Sorta reminded me of a lot of horror movies, like numerous zombie movies and Alien.
-The costumes. (Coco is a crazy chicken!)

That pretty much sums up my review. Goot night, efferybodee. Don't let ze moonstehs bite!

CN itself actually may not have much, if anything, to do with the squashing of the credits or the credits of the last show going on one side of the screen while the intro of the next show going on the other. It must be a Turner Broadcasting thing. TNT and TBS are doing the same thing with their shows. Nick does it too sometimes, although they're owned by an entirely different company. It seems to be a trend going around the different networks. Ick...

Anyway, back to the eppie, I found it amusing to hear Frankie talk in the same manner she did in "Say it isn't Sew", very articulate and clear and loud. I have to talk the same way at work sometimes to be sure the people I'm talking to understand me, especially when I feel whatever it is I'm saying might be confusing. It's more frustrating though when whoever I'm talking to thinks I'm talking like that because I think they're dumb or I'm mocking them or something. Ok, maybe sometimes I am... :cheese: But honestly, usually it's more just to help myself keep my thoughts organized and make sure they understand me. I understand why she talks like that sometimes.

And the flashlight-screaming scene. XDDD

BUT OMGGGG I DIED AT THE ZOMBIE FIGHTERS REFERENCEEEEEEE from Squeeze the Daaaaaaaaaaaay XDDD It was the LAST thing I expected them to throw in there, my gosh, and actually getting Mac high on the candy as a way to destroy all of them. XDD Bloo, you are an amazing idiot.

I was able to see this episode after remembering that there's a section to download it here.:-[ I loved it! Bloo was hysterical the whole way through. And I loved seeing Frankie's costume since Blossom is my favorite PPG.:D

I also liked how it was just like "A Lost Claus"...
Meaning that there's going to be 14 episodes in season 5!!! :D

Oh, yeah! And the "World Wide Wabbit" reference was funny, too.

Good; that means we've got three more Season Five episodes to go as of tonight, with the airing of "Better Off Ed"!

The 2-D debut of this episode will be tomorrow (10/20) at 5:30 ET/PT.

BTW, no new episode November 2nd, there is a back-to-back premiere of a new series called "Chowder".

The episode airs again tomorrow night at 7:30 P.M. I hope you make the screencaps on the 2-D version soon, just to let you know, patience is not my strongest virtue. Eventually, people would want to see screencaps for the episode, 2-D or not. Not to be harsh, just saying...

Unbelievable. ::) You'll get screencaps when Sparky has time to make them and not one minute sooner, and the fact that patience is not your strongest virtue will have no bearing on the matter whatsoever. Did it ever occur to you that she might have other demands on her time? Obviously not. You want screencaps so bad, go buy a copy of PowerDVD or some other such program and make your own. And get out a dictionary and look up the word "ingrate". :frankiemad:

Whoakay, let's settle down, people. I'm sure CnC didn't mean to be rude, and I'm sure he knows just how stretched your time is right now. I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to hassle you over some stupid SCREENCAPS. After all, we know you aren't doing this stuff for profit and you'll get stuff done as soon as you feel like, and we'll be grateful for that. :smed:

CnC, please show a bit of patience. After all, tis nothing more than a virtue, and I believe there will be a couple more re-airings, the last on Halloween day at 4 PM ET/PT.

you know I was so chocked when I saw the ad for Chowder

this is something I've been waiting FOR MONTHS (years?)! ever since greenblatt first posted about it on his blog, so I really, REALLY hope someone captures it! I'll miss forster's next week, but I'm still psyked about Chowder

sorry for off-topic :(

Well I do hope Chowder isn't as bad as it looked. We saw a preview of it at the Con and it looked kinda like utter crap, to be blunt. Maybe they just picked a bad clip to show.

Anyways, I wrote 7:30 on my hand, so let's see if I remember this time... :P

Greenblatt tends to turn the simplest things into gold so I REALLY hope he's putting all of his efforts in this... he did some AWESOME scripts for Spongebob and Billy & Mandy (plus provided the voice for FredFred Burger)

I guess his psychadelic tease images got me interested... also the character design and peculiar choice of name. I mean... "Chowder". It's nice to hear a name that instantly makes me think of diarrhea XD

I use this program to capture something playing on the desktop:

ZDSoft Screen Recorder (http://zd-soft-screen-recorder.en.softonic.com/)

Its great, but you do have to pay for it if you want to capture more than 5 minutes and if you don't want their name printed on your video.

Really? Ripoff artists! There's some shins to kick somewhere around here...

Things that I discovered after checking the episode recap I created on Wikipedia but for no reason whatsoever was deleted by some schmoe:
In a flashback, Frankie dresses as the title character from Tank Girl.
The first three trick-or-treaters are dressed as the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz.Just thought I'd let you know.

Whoa, what a great episode! Too funny! LOL
Did anyone else find Bloo's expression before he jumped out the window insanely funny? I'm referring to the scene where Mac is tied down to the bed and he's like "Bloo help me!" And Bloo gives him that sort of goofy, guilty-looking grin before he hops out the window.

Sugar Mac-Attack! YAY! XD I LOVE sugar-crazed Mac.
The whole zombie thing was very entertaining...especially Mr. Herriman. He really shined in this one!

:herriman:

Okay, nuff said. :)

(Don't ask where I've been, I'm just coming back and posting without bothering another long explanation.....)

To me when I saw him grin, I was thinking it was more of a "Welp, sorry bud you're on your own!" and jumping out the window to save himself. 8D

But yeah, this episode is one of my favorites, simply because I couldn't believe they'd go with such a creepy route as a zombie infestation at the house. There were parts that did give me the shivers.

Just a reminder-you do not need to use spoiler tags here; most people have seen the episode already. Spoiler tags are only necessary when discussing something in an episode that most folks haven't yet seen.

Just how many years has Bloo been at Fosters, and how old is Mac now?

Noooooooo...it was NOT his birthday, and he kept stating this over and over. His birthday was the only time he felt safe from Bloo's surprise parties, since Bloo didn't throw the parties on Mac's birthday, except once.

It was kinda sad seeing all the Foster's characters as zombies... But there were definitely some great bits in this one!

A few points which I'll list in random order:

Frankie Looked HOT! (until she became a zombie)
Jackie Khones dressed as a pimp kinda rocked
Just like in Squeeze the day, "Zombie Fighters! Na-na-na-na-na-na!"
Madam Foster as Yoda in the flashback!
Bloo puppeteering Mr. Herriman, 'weekend at bernies' style. :)
Madame Foster impersonating Paco, "Eduardo, come and save me! I'm not a Zombie yet."

Loved this one! And thank goodness we're finally getting new episodes here in Aus.

I just watched the 3D version for the first time without the glasses. I barely noticed anything different, although there were times where I almost felt "dizzy" looking at the screen due to the double vision in some parts. If/when this comes out on DVD, I hope it's just in 2D. I still think the 3D effects weren't really worth it.

Still absolutely loved the episode though. I found my new favorite line I think-

:blooxd: Quick, we need weapons! Anything you've got!
:-/ I've got a shoe.
:blooxd: Bingo! That's perfect!

Reminds me of a silly thing I use to do when I was a lass. My friends and I would "threaten" to fight eachother, and we'd compare our "weapons" to intimidate eachother-
Friend: I've got a cup!
Me: Oh yeah? Well, I've got a hanger!
Friend: I can top that! *grabs a pencil from off the table nearby*
Me: AAAAHHhhhhh!!!!

Hehe, yeah, I was very strange as a child. ...Fine, still am. 8D

Agreed. Five minutes into the premiere I ditched the glasses. Great episode but the 3D effects added nothing to it. It may have helped promote the episode but I think the viewer needs a very large TV to ger anything out of it.
