Does anyone else think this episode was created out of peer pressure? Cheese is so popular they had to make another episode with him! OK, not everyone likes Cheese, many find him annoying, and here he just felt like a plot device. Not to mention the plot of this episode felt really forced; I would think Herriman would be a bit smarter than to put in a random code which he couldn't remember when he installed a complex security system. And Wilt, poor, poor Wilt :( . He's becoming the Meg Griffin of Foster's now.

And seriously. There are other characters on the show besides Cheese. Better developed ones. Less annoying ones. Stop worshipping Cheese.

Agreed. I'm no big fan of Cheese. I like him, and he's funny, but yeah, they need to be careful not to overuse him.

I enjoyed this episode. Goo was funny, Cheese was funny imitating her. I like the unspoken gags, like Wilt constantly being sent out for more things from the store. The songs were cute, and the dancing. Sure the shrieking got a little annoying, but overall I don't have any problems with this episode.

The episode was pretty funny, and I didn't find it at all unusual that Mr. Herriman would really and truely RANDOMLY type in the code, as in not LOOKING at the numbers or writing them down. It is, after all, a huge understatement to say that he is "technologically-challenged"! It has nothing to do with being "smart", but more to do with what you're accustomed to. Herriman is a product of the older, simpler times, before computers and things like that. He actually thought that a computer file in "World Wide Wabbit" would be in a file CABINET, after all.

I found it funny, though, that even Wilt is getting tired of Cheese, and how freaked out he was by Cheese holding his hand.

I found this episode disappointing because:

1. It featured two characters who are being woefully overused, one of whom I never liked to start with,

2. It lacked good lines from Bloo or.... well, anyone.

The screaming got so bad, my mother just walked right out of the room with her hands over her ears. We have surround sound, so it's REALLY scary then.

You know, when I was a kid my brother used to be terrified of pine cones. That's right-pine cones. I took advantage of this silly phobia by placing pine cones at strategic spots in my room, or any other place I wanted to keep him out of. The folks at Foster's should take advantage of Cheese's sheep phobia by having Goo create a few IF "guard sheep"! Those would probably save a lot of time in lawn maintanace, too, thus giving Frankie and Wilt a few moments of freedom from their chores.

I loved this episode. Not as much as "Mac Daddy", but I liked it. I almost peed on myself from laughing at the credits.

I for one really liked this episode, I found it funny especially with cheese's new phrase "I. Found. A. Carrot." which I find funny just like "I like chocolate milk" I sorta imagined beacuse Mr. Herriman isn't fimiliar with todays devices he would 'think' to put the code at random ::)

I also found Goo's dance funny, and Cheese when he was spinning on the floor saying "beep boop beeep boop beeeeeeeeeep" I felt sorry for Wilt I was sure he was going to crack being sent the whole time. As usuall Bloo found the situation hilarious 8D I felt sorry for Frankie as she had to go through all that stress. Spunky reporter Erin Peterson's quick appearance was also delightful. Overall it was pretty good in my oppinion.

That's pretty much how I felt about it as well. Tolerable, with some very funny moments, but not one of the best.

I didn't think it was as bad as lot of people said. As I mentioned once, I didn't think it was as great as "Mac Daddy." Probably one of the things I didn't like was that Bloo's appearance was kinda lame. I guess part of it has to do with him getting little screen time, and the fact that this episode focused on Cheese the most. :P

Believe it or not, I actually found this episode a lot funnier the second time I watched it, probably because this time around I just turned off the critical portion of my brain and accepted this episode for what it was meant to be "sheer randomness". Well that and I wasn't nursing a severely cut finger unlike the first time I was watching it.

I loved the episode. It didn't require much thinking (I was sick when I saw it for the first time) and it reminded me of when my Dad put a code into the TV to watch more mature channels and he forgot the code but I was able to get it right because I watched him put the code in.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Please accept my apology if I'm not.

I'd like to explore the oddly affectionate relationship between Cheese and Goo in the episode "The Big Cheese".

Do you remember when Frankie was out of options and about to shoot herself because she couldn't get Cheese to chock up the code, and then Goo appeared? As Goo was walking forward Cheese was poking at her. I can't decide if he was poking her like a little kid who wants to tell you something. Or if he was patting her like a little kid who is in love with a puppy. I think it might be a combination of both, considering that Goo is clearly an expert on slightly disabled imaginery friends like Cheese.

What do you think?

I think that's because Goo is slightly disabled herself: she's crazy! Goo is almost as bonkers as Cheese is, so it's no surprise she'd find a way to relate to him and maybe even connect with him.

I don't think she has anything "deep" with him though personally, she just seems to be the only one who really understands Cheese. I also don't think anyone else but Goo WANTS to understand Cheese.

Whatever else I think of the episode, the ending was just gold. It hurt that the news tried to smear the good name of Foster's, but it's bold for a children's program to show just how corrupt the media really is. And the way Frankie handled the situation was hilarious, and shows just how diverse and unique her character is. :)

I actually just got finished watching it, and I have to say one of the funniest bits of the whole show was Cheese at the end (not surprising it was him), during the credits. It's the ring of lines he gives to the reporter as the credits start rolling.

It's hilarious 8D he keeps listing all these diseases so proudly like "I got ringworm, gingivitus, tape worm, athlete's foot". Anyways, the main reason i posted now is because I just got done watching the episode like I said, and I actually discovered a pretty decent sized error in the show.

When Bloo screams for everyone to go chase after Cheese, Eduardo is seen with his pants and belt on, yet he was only seen with a towel on when he got out. When they come back with Cheese and drop him by Frankie and Herriman, the pants and belt are still on. But in the next scene with Eduardo, he's back in the towel.

Anyone else catch this?

Another error I found while watching "Bus the two of us". After Mac is picked up in the bus, we see Bloo is driving without seeing where he's going because naturally, he can't reach the pedals. That's why he gets the toilet plungers. But after Mac "blows it" trying to drive, Bloo sits up and drives like he's tall.

And this was the scene right BEFORE he gets the plungers. I can't believe I didn't notice these errors before.

Yeah we had a frank discussion about "Eduardo's Magical Pants" on the old forum. I didn't read too much into it, because hey continuity errors happen, and sometimes it's just too late to change them.

In fact when season four gets realeased I hope they keep the episode the same, just so they can make fun of that error on the commentaries.

Okay I FINALLY saw this episode today, on YouTube. (I know, I am so behind. lol)
I have to say I found it quite amusing...the first scene to tickle my fancy was Mr. Herriman's little tail wagging in his anxiety over getting his office sparkling clean. (When Frankie walked in.) That was CUTE. I love bunny tails. ^^ (Okay I'm wierd, I know.) And of course the whole Wilt scene where he tries to get Cheese off of him....LMAO, that was the BEST EVER. I can't stop thinking how amazingly adorable Wilt is when he's nervous. ::giggle:: He's got such a great voice, too. AHEM...so getting back on track...Bloo's scene where he sings that song to Cheese had me laughing...he sings quite well! XD I love that smirking grin on his face too. (Of course we all love the Blooregard's expressions, that's a given.) But I think I nearly squirted soda out of my nose (and believe me that's painful) when Frankie played her game and told Cheese to sing the security code song, and his eyes got all big and googly. LOL He's kind of cute in his weird, annoying way. XD The song at the end with Goo was pretty funny, too. ^^ I liked the ep all in all and didn't find too much wrong with it, like it's been said, just some crazy randomness. 8D

That was the funniest episode of Cheese I've seen! I was literally on the floor. I'm not one of those giant Cheese worshippers but a fan of Cheese. Mr Herriman is really 'technology challenged', is it me or did Foster's get funnier?

I was on the floor laughing! The bit with the carrot (a la "Psycho") was hilarious! Cheese is a lunatic, which is why I love him!:cheese:

I've only seen this episode partially once (busy with house work etc), and I loved what I saw.:cheesegrin: I'll go to youtube and find it later (same place I got to see the very first episode).

I like others loved the end with chesse over the credits "I've got mainge" etc, etc lol loved it!!!!:cheese:

I agree with other members in here though, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. I like to see cheese but not in all episodes, overkill could demolish this wonderous little charactures credibility.:cheese:

Bloo is already the #1 mascot and the focus of nearly every single episode. I don't get what's so wrong about the focus being on someone else for a change. (The same goes for the people whining about the lack of Mac and Bloo in "Good Wilt Hunting")

I learned an important lesson from this episode: Frankie on the verge of a mental breakdown, covered in mud, is STILL hot.

and Cheese doing the psycho bit with the carrot, stabbing Eduardo in the shower. funny. Then he spits the carrot out slowly. funny.

I agree with Frankie on a mental meltdown, but HAWT! That "Psycho" shower scene was great!:cheese: :frankiesmile:

I just realized something when I rewatched this episode yesterday...how did Mac know which tone translated to which button on the alarm pad? Admittedly, presumably the "1" would have the lowest-pitched tone, becoming higher in pitch up to the "0", and you might be able to figure it out from that. But still, to be able to get them all right is a pretty impressive achievement for a young kid. Maybe Mac was blessed with perfect pitch? :)

Well, this is one of the weakest episodes for me, though still Fosters (that is, thee are no Fosters episodes deviod of merit), it wasn't as good as it usually is. Like I've mentioned before, we all learned a lesson here. Lots of a funny character does not a good episode make. Hopefully Cheese won't be such of a focus from now on. That said, I thnk they'll use him quite well in Cheese A Go-Go. Though this may just be optimism.

I just re-watched this episode today. I think it's really funny! It was hilarious when they were trying to get the alarm code out of Cheese! 8D I also love the song Goo and Cheese did. :cheese:

Again this is one of my top fosters episodes ( I have alot, most of them from season 4 8D)

My favourite part about this episode is when Ed is in the shower and cheese randomly starts stabbing him with a carrot! He looks so proud of himself and then there is just Ed thinking "Ooooooookayy."
I say it all the time to my friends and they think i'm crazy. I actually took a picture of me with a carrot, saying 'i found a carrot'.:-[
